Timeline Spanning Arc: The Adventures of Sol Wren and Friends
This arc is a story spanning arc that will follow the adventures of my new smuggler and the many heroes, villains, shady characters that he comes across in the galaxy. This story will ideally span the whole timeline and will consist of many subplots and events that will be open to anyone that is looking to take part in a classic star wars tale without ultimate fear of death or a focus on heavy pvp (though pvp will most likely happen, I don't want people to be afraid that if they join they're going to die) and instead focus on telling a story across the galaxy that has a deep and lasting impact with the characters and players involved. I imagine that friends will be formed, betrayals and backstabbing will happen, rivalries will be formed, relationships and possibly even love--it's all up to what sort of relationships are formed.

This timeline arc will consist of player characters and various NPCs spanning from small one offs specific to an arc or a thread to reoccurring characters that will have their own NPC sheets. My goal is that players new and old will enjoy this and feel that they don't need to be apart of a faction to tell great stories. So with that stated, I am going to be introducing the first arc, the prologue!

The prologue will consist of three subplots and will be used to establish the characters into the setting of the site, set the foundation of a nice story as well as character dynamics and subplots among each other. Ultimately the Prologue arc will end with Sol getting his stolen ship back and setting himself up with his new sidekick, as well as the various relationships and connections that will form from these stories. The other players can have their own rewards and goals for the completion of the plot as long as it fits what we have accomplished. I will now go into detail about the one of the three subplots that will consist of our first arc, The prologue. As this story progresses and I get a better grasp for the plot I will begin to fill in the details about the other two subplots, but right now I'm not sure how everything is going to fall into place yet.

Plot Arc 1- The Prologue
Prologue part I: Caught in a Civil War

Opening Scrawl Theme
Background: Once a formidable symbol of the Republics might, Cardia once held crucial Republic Military installations and assets that were reopened during the end years of the Hundred Years of Darkness.

With the Republic's disbanding of the military and pulling of equipment and troops from the planet once more, the colony fell into a bloody turmoil--with many looking to break away from the Republic for good. The fate of the planet is currently in the air and either side can win. With supplies running low on both sides a group of Loyalists have spent the last of their reserve credits on a crucial shipment of blasters and are awaiting their arrival....
1. What is going to happen in your plot?
Our story begins with Sol entering the atmosphere of Cardia, his ship The Centennial Convor is running a shipment of blasters needed for loyalists to the Republic. Running a contracted job for the Republic, Sol's mission is to drop the blasters off and get out of town. Though when entering atmosphere the fighting in the area is worse than he imagined. Avoiding blaster fire he will manage to land the ship at the docking base, where he will meet a group of desperate loyalists holding out against the republics cutting them off from the main colony city in the area. Sol may possibly meet others connected to the conflict or privateers, mercenaries, etc (players involved) at the base.

The loyalists will inform Sol and the others that the Captain of the headquarters is currently pinned down against rebel separatists. Sol and company have to venture out into the grounds surrounding the battered Loyalist base, fighting off a few random rebel troopers. Here they will find the Captain of the base, Captain Kendar. After fighting off a small band of rebel troops the group will begin to head back to the headquarters and as they do so, they discover that the base has been ambushed by rebel troopers from the back. The group will make their way into the headquarters, attempting to push back against the troops, only to get stabbed in the back by Kendar who was secretly working for the Rebels and used his pinning as a way to have rebels hit the base from the back. He would then go on to steal the Centennial Convor and all of the guns aboard the ship--leaving Sol stuck.

It's at this moment that Sol learns that weapons were secretly going to be for a ruthless mercenary band that was contracted in secret to aid the loyalists or this is what they're lead to believe during the time. The group would then make a daring mission to the Colony city, where they would meet up with the loyalist leaders in hopes of tracking down Kendar--there will be a few unique one off npcs that they will interact with here--though no one will give them concrete details on how to track down Kendar. Instead, they are forced to help out the cause once or twice doing odd jobs for the loyalists (though they have the option of secretly sabotaging the loyalists if that's what they desire, for example let's say they have to track down medicine. They could destroy it and come back and state that they couldn't find any).

After a few jobs, the loyalist leader would trust the crew to have them track down Kendar's old home that's located in rebel territory. It's here that they find out that Kendar has been working with someone to plan this blaster heist for sometime. There will be hints for those that are more observant to pick up that Kendar is probably using these rebels as well. They will also get the location of the rebel stronghold on the planet.

The crew will then head straight towards the stronghold, fighting or sneaking in wearing rebel disguises to find that Kendar had betrayed the group and had stolen a whole log file of potential wealthy donors that would be open to separatists movements across the galaxy. When the crew goes to sneak or blast their way out, they find one of the unique NPCs sulking about angrily near the stronghold. It turns out that he was the lover to Kendar, and that Kendar had left him behind and betrayed him just like he betrayed all sides in the situation (I didn't mention, but this NPC the whole time would really want the player to find Kendar) and basically the NPC was working with Kendar and knew about the heist, and was following the group in hopes that they would open up or cause enough distraction for him to get to Kendar and escape. But, that doesn't work out as Kendar left him behind. So in his anger he spits out that Kendar promised that they would start a new life together on Taris--giving the group and Sol a clue that Kendar was most likely leaving for Taris.

The group would return to the Loyalist stronghold, where the Loyalist general would ask if they found what they were looking for and if they found Kendar. The group would tell him that Kendar betrayed the rebels and left for Taris. The group would then have the option to tell the Loyalists that they found the headquarters of the rebels. If they do, this will be the information that they need to help them win the war. As an award the group would be given free tickets to the first shuttle off the planet and to their destination (Taris) or they could simply ignore that they found the Rebel stronghold (and I forgot to mention that they would also learn that a rebel surprise attack was planned in a few days) and simply state they got what they wanted and leave the Loyalists without knowing that the attack was coming or where the stronghold was (basically if you let them know where the stronghold is they would attack them before the surprise attack could ever occur), if you don't tell the Loyalists what's going on they basically would lose in the surprise attack and most likely lose the civil war. In this option, the players would be given the freedom to leave the planet as they choose, though Sol and the others that don't have a ship would have to pay for a shuttle ride with their own credits. (Those that want to continue on to the next plot would head to Taris with Sol).

2. What other players will be a part of this?
Not sure yet.
3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
Just Cardia.
4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
I explained all of the general rough plot above.

5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
The end game for the planet could be affected by the decisions of the players. If the group helps the loyalists then they would help the republic keep their planet, though if they don't then the Rebels and separatists will most likely win the civil war (though I would leave this up to the Admins on deciding if Lore wise the war would continue after the group left with one side heavily battered down or that the group's decision would pretty much lead one side to victory within weeks).

In terms of smaller story, Sol and all of the players would have begun to form bonds and relationships. For those that want to continue the story into the next arc, they would have found the next location of where Kendar was heading, and they would basically begin to uncover the sort of plan that Kendar and company are planning (though I need to sit down and think this out, and that's why I don't have the other two plots in this arc written yet. I just need time to think everything through).

6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
No canon npcs are needed, but I'm fine with staff members DM'ing if they would like.

If you need Exile Villains, either of my characters would be happy to hop in and be evil! As long as I don't have to die haha! An ongoing rivalry could be fun!

I don't like to engage in Death Enabled PVP, I enjoy telling a story. As my character is independent you could pop in the story, we would just have to figure out a good reason for why you would be there!

For sure. I mean, neither of my characters would side with the Republic side of things, but if you get into more morally ambiguous territory, let me know! Or if you just need a bad guy!
