[Dsar]

Dsar shakes his head. "Not at the moment, but if those insectoids followed us here, we need to get out of here, and quick." Dsar charges off towards The Dawn.

Dsar no longer felt safe on Ossus, and combining what Midian told him, and the attempt on his life; he had his reasons. For now, he would go with Midian, but in his heart he made it clear that the knowledge within that holocron would be made known to the Republic.

 

[Midian]

Midian releases the security of The Dawn and enters through the boarding ramp. He makes sure Dsar is the only one who follows him in and then retracts the ramp and shuts the door. He moves quickly through the ship on his way to the bridge. He stops by his quarters and sees Zeru is inside grooming his feathers. He smiles and then enters the bridge. Midian sits down in the command chair and starts take off preperations. He looks over at A2 who has just wheeled in and is headed toward his station. "We need to get off this planet and out of the system immediately." He speaks without looking away from the holographic display readout, assuming Dsar had kept up with him. "Dsar, if you would, please take navigation and prepare calculations for our hyperspace exit of the system. I trust you have an idea of where to take us for at least some safety." The Dawn's engines come to life ready for take-off.

 

[Synthetic]

Lance received the coordinates from Octavian and quickly put the ship's ID into his ship's navicomputer. A few seconds later the ship's name, The Dawn, along with its location, came up on the screen. A four republic commando squadron of fighters came up behind him, two flanking his right and two on his left. The Jedi Knight sent a transmission over to The Dawn:

"Attention crew of The Dawn this is Jedi Knight Lance Zerhon, accompanied by the Bolt Squadron of the Alpha Brigade, 100th Legion. I am going to have to ask you to turn off your engines and step out, in the name of the Jedi Council and the Republic. We mean you no harm - be advised, do not take off."

His attention went to the communicator between himself and the commandos.

"Get a lock on the ship. We need to force it down if it decides to lift off."

 

[Dsar]

Dsar's face turned white. "Twil, secure the holocron, hide it, do whatever you need to - just don't let them find it."

The Republic Lieutenant presses a single switch on the terminal which clears the coordinates that were previously set in.

"If we run, they'll track us. Look, I'm a soldier with the Republic, we don't have anything to fear." He said in a reassuring tone. "I'm sure theres been some sort of mix up anyways..."

 

[Midian]

Midian quickly deactivates the ship's engines. "Well isn't this great?" Midian has a smirk on his face. "I suppose you're right. Would do no good to run now. It'll take a while before it is safe to restart the engines without being fired upon. I'm going to take care of the holocron." Midian gets up and goes to the med bay where the holocron is still waiting. He arrives in the med bay and looks at the force field protected holocron. He waves his hand and the crystal discs descend into the table and further into the innards of the ship. The hole in the table is replaced by a metal plate of the same shape, hiding the path of the holocron.

 

[Octavian Black]

Octavian looked at Adrion then spoke. "I'm going to go help. I feel like I can't do anything in here." Octavian then took off to the hangar. Once in the hangar Octavian jumped into a fighter. He flipped a couple of switches and the fighter fired up. He then exited the ship heading toward the other fighters. "Lance, I'm on my way." Octavian said as he maxed his thrusters.

 

[Synthetic]

"Alpha One, Two, and Three, secure the air. Four land with me please," said the young Jedi. As the other three circled above, the other two landed and approached the ship. Lance took the lead, his head hooded, the commando behind him. Octavian and his band were minutes, at least, away. He was urgently looking for this holocron. Whatever it was, regardless, he was going to bring it to the council and the Republic. Perhaps he had different views than Octavian, and whomever the knight was with, but he thought he was right.

"Open the hatch please! We mean no harm," said the Jedi Knight, breathing in the warm, humid air of Ossus.

 

[Octavian Black]

"Common." Octavian said as the fighter went flying through the air. He had the thrusters at full. He was coming in and could see two fighters had landed. Once was Lance and the other was a Commando. Octavian figured the other two had the air secured. Octavian kept getting closer and closer.

 

[Midian]

((OOC: I just want to clarify this as I think it hasn't been really understood. When I described The Dawn as a scout cruiser, I kinda meant it was fairly large but sleek as well. It would be roughly between two-to-three times the size of Lando's yacht. A2 and special computer programming coupled with telepathic interface are the only reason Midian is able to operate it.))

Midian leaves the med bay after hearing the commands from outside over the comm speakers. He goes, opens, and extends the boarding ramp. Having switched out his shillelagh for his staff earlier, he makes his way down the ramp supporting himself with it to appear in a much less condition than he really is. ~Dsar~"I could use your assistance outside..."~

 

[Dsar]

Dsar follows shortly after Midian exits The Dawn, and glances at the landed fighter craft as he approaches Midian.

"Let me do the talking here, Twil."

 

[Synthetic]

The "old" man came down the ramp. Obviously he wasn't the best actor. He was old, but wasn't in the condition he played. Lance detected a force presence in the user, slightly masked. He wasn't a Jedi, and he wasn't a shade - the man obviously followed the light side, to be sure. He was positive the man wouldn't try anything crooked. Calling upon the force, he sensed another presence aboard the ship.

"I need to inspect your ship, kind sir. You have a holocron the Jedi and Republic want... someone else is on your ship, sir?"

 

[Octavian Black]

The fighter landed one hundred yards from the vessel Lance was about to board. Octavian used the Force to enhance his speed. He wanted to be there just in case Lance needed help. Octavian could see the boarding ramp starting to extend. He then saw a man making his way slowly down the ramp. Octavian got ready for any attack. Octavian was now within thirty yards of Lance and the vessel.

 

[Midian]

((OOC: I'm confused. How exactly did you make it from Adrion's ship in orbit around Ossus to planetside Octavian?))

~Dsar~"By all means, please do. I'm getting tired of this myself."~ Midian stops at the bottom of the ramp and gives a very convincing kind, senile smile to the group of Jedi in front of him.

 

[Dsar]

Dsar places his hands on his belt and nods to Lance infront of him.

"Lieutenant Dsar Octir of the Galactic Republic, what seems to be the trouble master Jedi?"

Dsar asked, showing him to be the one to stick questions to, instead of Midian.

 

[Octavian Black]

Octavian slowed up and stood behind Lance. He then reached out through the Force to make sure everything would go smoothly. If something was going to happen, Octavian would be prepared. Octavian then looked at Dsar. "We are looking for a stolen holocron." Octavian said eyeing Dsar.

 

[Dalloph]

Adrion moved the vessel into orbit around Ossus. He had no intention of landing on the surface unless it was absolutely necessary the Jedi's jurisdiction on the matter should be enough. "Miriam I know that the alien ships we are looking for are cloaked from our sensor ranges however I have an idea that might work. Use the sensors not to look for ship signatures but absences of the primary gasses that make up the atmosphere. If we find those pocket's in the atmosphere that aren't filled in by normal ships we'll know the location of our insect friends."

 

[Dsar]

Dsar glanced at Octavian. "Holocron?" Dsar said in a condescending tone with a raised eyebrow. "Master Jedi, if we had brought a Holocron with us to Ossus, it would have been handed over to the Jedi Council, not to a young Jedi such as yourself. Now, why were we really stopped?" Dsar glanced over towards Lance.

:Adrion receives data that points to the ships location somewhere in the broad vicinity of the Jedi Temple's southern wing.:

 

[Octavian Black]

"I have learned that you two have indeed stole a holocron. You can either hand it over now. Or we will escort you to the Jedi Council. Your decision." Octavian said as he stood confidently. He had no doubts that the Shad didn't lie to him. But maybe he trusted the Shade to much...

 

[Dsar]

Dsar adopted an insulted tone.

"Young master Jedi, I am a lieutenant of the republic armed forces, if I had a holocron I would have given it to the protectors of that glorious republic. You insult me by doubting that. Now please, explain yourselves, I and my escort are running late for a mission on Kashyyyk."

 

[Synthetic]

"There has been no such acquisition by the council. There has been no session, or call to session for that matter. I am also interested as regards to your friend, here, lieutenant." said Lance as he walked up the ramp and into the ship. Letting his hood down, he let the force run rampantly through him, raising his awareness. Out of the range of Octavian, Lance sent a message to the old man through the force:

"I know you are force sensitive, sir. I can detect it running through you. You must understand that I want to take this holocron to the Republic and Jedi Council. Not just for a fair view, but for the security of the Republic. The intentions of my friend are unknown to myself as I simply received a relay communication. Please tell me the holocron's location."
