[Octavian Black]

"I'm sorry if I am insulting you sir. But I stand by my word. That is why Lance and I have stopped you." Octavian replied with a firm tone. "I heard the owners of the holocron are willing to start a war over this. I do not wish to go to war Lieutenant."

 

[Midian]

Midian keeps up his charade and ignores Lance. He absently looks around at nothing in particular. He yawns sleepily and in doing so unintentionally gets choked up. He coughs heavily while clutching at his chest and bending forward at his waist slightly. He gets through his coughing fit and pulls himself upright with both hands using the staff for support. He thinks to himself -"Aren't I the bright one. Acting just might be more dangerous than not."- He takes a deep breath to regain his composure and then speaks softly. "Saints preserve us." Midian is doing far better keeping up his elderly appearance because of the accidental choking.

 

[Dsar]

Dsar shakes his head at Octavian. "If it will make you feel any better, speak to my escort, but we have nothing to hide, but please be quick about it... We are running late."

Dsar turned on his heel and began walking back towards The Dawn.

 

[Synthetic]

"Feel the force Octavian. Keep this subtly to yourself - the man has marks of the force upon him, be wary," said Lance through the force, specifically to Octavian. Lance recalled his Jedi training, and a particular and useful power called force sight. He would be able to analyze the ship through the force, see power emitters and force signatures, as well as the design and components of the ship. He needed a location to meditate in and observe the ship purely through the force. Making a left, he continued to go to the left most part of the ship and eventually got to the medbay. He sat down against the wall and called upon the force. He began to see the ship and its components through the force...

 

[Midian]

Midian steps in line behind Dsar as he follows Lance into the ship. Midian follows slowly but steadily.

 

[Octavian Black]

When Octavian made eye contact with Midian he could feel something pulling at the Force. Like it was calling to him. It wasn't a real strong tug, just a tug letting him know that this character could indeed be a Force user. "You sir. What is your business with the Lieutenant?" Octavian said while eying Midian carefully.

 

[Dsar]

Once inside the ship Dsar turns to Midian and whispers softly. "Keep an eye on that Jedi, make sure he doesn't start any trouble. I'll be outside the med bay, if you need me use your usual method."

Dsar rests his hand on his blaster pistol and makes his way to the med bay entrance where he leans back against the wall beside the door and nonchalantly looks about.

 

[Synthetic]

OOC: Actually it can, when the holocron is surrounded by a force field (which is energy) as said in your previous post:

he force field protected holocron. He waves his hand and the crystal discs descend into the table and further into the innards of the ship. The hole in the table is replaced by a metal plate of the same shape, hiding the path of the holocron

Force sight took him along the electric circuitry which wove in and out of the metal hull of the ship. Well, there was nothing as of yet. His search was basically done. He just had to scan the sector in which he was meditating. Then it came to him, right under the flooring, deep within the ship. It seemed to go through a type of tunneling system, or that's what the knight surmised. There was some type of energy shield being emitted around a small object down there. The pathway had to come from this room.

"Why is there an energy shield being emitted in the middle of your ship's inner hull?" questioned Lance. Still with the force ever aware, he notices the Lieutenant put the hand on his own pistol. The knight hoped this wouldn't turn bad, it seemed the Lieutenant was willing to push treason.

 

[Midian]

Midian stops briefly to respond to Octavian before continuing behind Dsar. "My business? Well I suppose serving him would be my business. That's what servants do, is it not?" Midian contacts Dsar telepathically. ~Dsar~"I am a servant assigned to you on this mission in order to make your dealings on Kashyyyk smoother, understood? My name for now is Uri."~

 

[Octavian Black]

"I understand." Octavian replies to Midian. Octavian makes he way over to Lance. He then stands beside him. "Lance, what is the plan?" Octavian says through the Force. While asking Lance the question he is looking around acting like he was surveying the place.

 

[Midian]

Midian senses something is wrong and hears a sound that was very much like a ship plummeting through the atmosphere. He turns around and sees Octavian running out of his view of the bottom of the ramp. Midian leaves Dsar (but keeps a mental link open between the two of them in case Dsar needed to communicate with him) and Lance to their discussion. He walks curiously down the ramp and then turns to spot someone on the ground and Octavian attending to them. Midian looks toward the source of the shrill screech of air and sees Hanshin's ship diving uncontrollably toward the planet's surface.

((OOC: As Dsar left Dsar Octir's actions to me I'm going to do my best to keep up with the trend he set. I would also like to avoid any damage to the character's current being so that he will be in the same condition when Dsar returns to rp. Take into account also that I am not double posting, I am making a separation between my character's perspective and Dsar's. I'd like to point out in advance that the ship's telepathic operations are only accessible by Midian.))

Dsar continues leaning casually against the wall with his hand loosely on his blaster. "I have no idea what you are talking about." He speaks truthfully as he had no knowledge of what Midian had done with the holocron. "If you intend to delay my mission further with this baseless search, the Republic will not like to hear of the Jedi's interruption in my report."

Dsar relays the current situation through the mental link to Midian.

<Approaching a Goal>

Midian enters his ship by the boarding ramp and goes to join Lance and Dsar in the medical bay. On his way he receives Dsar's update and decides to throw off the Jedi's trail. Accessing the ship's telepathic interface he closes the crystal cylinder to make sure the holocron remains in place and then cuts power to the systems relating to it, removing the force field and rendering nothing but the normal circuitry of the ship detectable. He arrives in the med bay moments later to find Dsar and Lance in a stalemate. "You two are so very talkative." He says sarcastically.
