The streets of Ahto City had seen much in its history. From amnesiac Sith Lords on a quest for revenge, to a period of abandonment. Today, Ahto City is a bustling tourist attraction, hosting vacations for people around the galaxy. The Selkath secretly shipped Kolto to the Alliance, though sales had been down for almost 5,000 years.

Leon Kovik, a Selkath Jedi, was a guard for the city. If anything went on, he knew about it. Of course, he wasn't the most MATURE Jedi. If he wasn't guarding, he was in the cantina, playing Sabaac or drinking a nice drink. Manaan was paradise.

At this particular moment, he is at the cantina with a female Selkath named Shalena. They were eating a lunch of fresh seafood when a rumbling started. Sabaac chips scattered across the table and onto the floor. People looked around, and then the shaking stopped. A few of the patrons were curious, but most went back to drinking or picking up their spilled Sabaac chips.

Leon asked in Selkatha "What was that?"
Shalena had no idea. "Maybe it was an earthquake?"
"No, this is a geologically stable part of the planet"
"Leon, ignore it."
"No, this is something and I feel like it should be looked in to."

Shalena sighed. "To the Progenitor?"
Leon gulped down his Ahto Ale and said, "To the Progenitor"

Draike figured Ahto city would be a good start to "lay low", the spaceport was more crowded than he had hoped though. He finished locking up his ship before looking to his droid, who seemed desperate to tag along. "Sorry bolts, not this time" he said to the droid, which was replied to by a series of angry beeps and whines. Upon leaving the port, Draike reached into his cloak, making sure his lightsaber was secure, he needed to keep a low profile on Manaan, and his weapon needed to be hidden for him to do that. The city itself was beautiful, and after paying the highly overpriced docking fee...Draike searched for the nearest cantina. He spotted one off in the distance, but he began to feel vibration under his feet, much like an earthquake..."What the hell was that" he spoke aloud to himself before making his way to the cantina.

Leon walked for the docking bay, trying to remain incognito. Of course, with the bounty on Jedi, that was a low possibility. Manaan was an Alliance world though; suspicious activity was monitored. As Leon traversed the shiny metal hallways, he felt another rumble, and this time, a lurch. Something was happening.

As he looked around, three Rodians ran through the crowd. Leon moved in their way only to be knocked aside. These three were suspicious. Leon started a pursuit, but all except one had disappeared around the corner. Leon used the Force to trip the Rodian. The Rodian yelled at Leon in garbled Basic. "Hey, Fish Boy. No use powers to trip I!"

Leon walked towards the Rodian. He looked at the Rodian and began to speak Basic. His accent was thick and his words seemed 'watery', his wet vocal chords unable to synthesize Human-like speech. "Rodi'n, you ere up to something and I went to know whet it is."

"I not tell you! You trip me!" The Rodian spat. Leon was ready to grab the alien by the extended mouth and hold him in the air. However, he kept calm. With the wave of his hands, he said, "You'll tell me whet you ere doing."
"I tell you what I am doing," the Rodian dumbly responded.
"Whet ere you doing?"
"I flee big wave. Big wave spell doom for Ahto City."
"Where is this Big Weve? Whet heppened?"
"I was in submersible. Ground shake. Loud noise underwater. I think ground shake started it."
"Thenk you. Do you heve eh ship?"
"I have ship."
"Good luck"
"Good luck"

Leon let the Rodian go. If the Rodian was up to something, he'd have said it. He was just a panicked Rodian that was not too happy at being tripped during a disaster.

Still, what the Rodian told Leon disturbed him. It was virtually impossible for an earthquake to happen near Ahto City. There were no underwater settlements near a fault line. None that allowed submersibles anyway. Whatever happened had occurred near Ahto City.

The Selkath calmly walked over to the edge of the city and noticed something...

The waterline had dropped.

Rhen Akula had been walking towards his fighter when suddenly he fell forward due to the apparent earthquake. Noticing a commotion occurring, the Mando-style armor-wearing soldier pulled his blade out and stepped towards the commotion before noticing a Selkath at the center. Sensing that this particular sentient was a Jedi, Rhen walked up to him in a relaxed, but still guarded stance.

So you're a Jedi... Perhaps you can tell me what just happened and why the entire city's in a near riot.

Draike watched the incident as it occured. A Selkath Jedi had tripped a Rodian, then questioned him, Draike began making his way towards the Jedi, believing he may have some answers. Before he could reach him, however, another man, weilding a blade, and adorned in Mandalorian style armour similar to his own, stepped up to the Jedi, asking his question for him. Draike simply stood back and listened.

Leon said to the man clad in Mando-armor, "I know es much es you do. Two huge tremors end eh boom shook the city. I'm headed for the security center to find out whet is going on. However, I fear the worst. Be ready to evecuate."

Leon walked to the security center, but not before noticing another man watching him. Leon had more urgent matters to attend to, so he kept on walking.

When he got to the center, Leon spoke in Selkatha to the Selkath Attendant, "Have you found anything?"
"I'm going over security footage now. There was a suspicious flash a few minutes ago and some of the cameras went blank."
"This cannot be good."

Leon quickly walked for his ship, The Progenitor. The ship was a rather large ship, but it was quick, armed with quality weapons, and other secret features. As Leon walked to the ship, a YVH droid said to Leon, "Master, the ship's all ready to go."

Leon said, "We're not evacuating. Prep the ship for underwater travel," and walked into the ship.

Draike followed the Selkath all the way to the security center, and then all the way over towards what seemed to be the Jedi's ship. He was sure that the Jedi was aware of his presence, but whatever was going on in thi city seemed suspicious, and he might be able to assist. He thought about approaching the man, offering his assistance, but that might mean revealing himself as a Jedi...something he still wasn't ready to do. He still felt that laying low was his best option for the time being, but despite his worries, he approached the man. "Excuse me Jedi...I was wondering if you knew anything about the tremors? Or if there was anything that I could do to help the situation.?"

Leon stroked his cephalic lobes on the side of his mouth, similar to how humans stroked their mustaches. Speaking watery Basic, he said, "The best way for most people to help is to stay calm. However, I don't think you are most people. You could help people evacuate the city in case the worst happens. Or you could board the Progenitor, my ship, and be ready to arm the cannons in case we're attacked."

Leon's YVH droid expressed discontent. "But, Master! That's my job!"
"Bones, there are several turrets on the ship. You'll live."

The droid walked into the ship. An astromech droid could be heard beeping inside the ship.

"Make your choice, but be quick. The water level is rapidly falling. A monstrous wave is sure to follow."

Draike thought about the mans offer, he didn't know this Jedi, but the man seemed trustworthy enough. His answer was simple. "It seems like you may need me. I'll board your ship, and do what I can." He looked back at the city, feeling as if he made the right choice, but of course only time would tell. He turned back to the man and motioned that he was ready to go.

Rhen had been following the Selkath Jedi and the apparent Mandalorian, attempting to get some more answers. When he saw the Mando and the Selkath prepare to take off, he rushed toward them.

I may not be an expert shot, but I feel that if I help you guys out, then maybe I can get some answers. So, mind if I chip in and help?

Rhen waited impatiently, as he wanted to get underway before anything else discouraging happened.

Leon chuckled and said, "It's good to know that there are people in Ahto City that aren't going insane. You could stay in the city to keep riots down and help with an evacuation if need be. We could also use a mechanic if the ship is damaged. Of course, another gunner also helps. If we're attacked, you could drop the sonic charges. The automatic loading bay broke and I never got around to fix it. Make your decision quickly, though."

Rhen thought for a moment before coming up with an idea.

I have a starfighter on the far side of the docking bay. How about I get in it and help you out as an escort? An interceptor could take you out if you aren't careful, and judging by whatever happened, I'm pretty sure the ground troops will need aerial support. The droid can man the turrets, and I think the Mandalorian can work those charges. They always were fans of heavy weapons...

Rhen waited for the Selkath Jedi to make his decision known.

Draike looked at the man adorned in Mandalorian style armor, he had made a good point, and brought realization to Draike's mind.
"I understand that I am needed on your ship, but I also have a Starfighter on the planet, and if something goes down on the surface...it might get damaged. Is there any room on the Progenitor for it? If not then looks like you are going to have two escorts."

Leon thought for a moment and said, "The Progenitor has an airlock and a very small docking area. I'd say a starfighter would be able to dock in it, but be careful when you try to dock or take off. I think the starfighter escort is a pretty good idea, as long as you know how to pilot. Flying a ship underwater is not like flying in a vacuum; You need to have the utmost confidence in your piloting ability and also remember the effectiveness of most mass drivers will be impaired. Undersea pressure can be a danger, especially in combat. One tiny puncture and the starfighter may implode."

A female Selkath, Shalena, arrived at the hallway above the boarding ramp. In Selkatha, she said, "Leon, the ship's ready."

Leon turned to the two people helping him and said, "May the Force be with you all."

Draike decided that docking his ship on the Progenitor would be the best path to take, he felt that his talents would be needed more on the ship itself. He couldn't believe that he was doing this, helping strangers had never really been his way, but he was a changed man...this would be a good start.
"I am sorry for the delay, my ship will ready and docked in moments. When I get back I will be ready to go whenever the rest of you are." He looked around one last time, thinking about what the hell he was about to get himself into. 'Well to late to turn back now.' He thought to himself before beginning to walk towards the port. He then recieved a call on his comm-link he sure to be out of listening distance before answering the call. It was news of his official acceptance into the Jedi Order, and orders to report to the Temple immediately...After all these years...After all the battles, he now had the chance to become a true Jedi; a follower of the Light side, and not just the trainee of a rouge. He had become powerful over the years, both in the Force and with his lighsaber, but knew that his quest to find peace would lie ahead with the Jedi. He had to question himself now, what should his next move be? Would it be a wise choice to leave this planet now before anything else happens, or should he stay and help in any way possible...He would have his mind made up by the time he reached his Starfighter.

Leon walked to the bridge of the Progenitor. He pressed a few buttons and flipped a few switches and the engines lit up like a Christmas Tree. The ship shot into the sky before taking a nose dive into the ocean. The water created a loud noise as the ship entered the water and the engines were switched off upon landing in the water so they wouldn't explode if any damage was dealt to them.

The lights in front of the ship activated, and the engines were switched back on. The ship sped for the anchor of Ahto City. The anchor was a massive superstructure that supplied support and power to Ahto City. It was shielded by plates similar to the plates covering Ahto. Rust and barnacles grew on parts of the structure. Cleaning droids circled the area, chipping away at the barnacles. Despite its size, it wasn't inhabited by any beings, including Selkath.

Firaxan sharks swam in the open ocean, along with other fish and sea creatures. As the Progenitor circled the Anchor, Leon said, "Bones, keep your eye on that decapus."

Not before too long, a ten-legged creature latched onto the ship. The decapus had an adamant grip. Leon simply raced to the surface, making the decapus decide to let go, as it disliked air immensely. The creature swam away as the Progenitor sped back into the water.

Soon, Leon spotted a gigantic, gaping hole in the Anchor of Ahto. The shield had been blasted away and the area where it once was now was exposed wiring and glowing hot metal. Steam rose from the heated metal.

A cleaning droid began to scan the area before turning to the Progenitor. Leon said, "Cleaning droids don't usually scan ships underwater." As the droid approached, Bones eagerly clutched the control on the cannons. His behavior core was glowing green.

Leon said, "Get a closer look at that droid," and magnified the image of the droid. It was holding a bomb!.

"Bones, nail it!"

The cannons fired with amazing accuracy. The droid was hit simultaneously, destroying the droid and detonating the bomb. Almost instantly, a call came on the radio. A Selkath spoke in Selkatha, "Progenitor, this is Shelkar City. We've seen a disturbance on the Ahto Anchor, but we can't reach the city. Please dock with the city."

"Shelkar City, this is Progenitor, we are on route to the city.

The city was completely underwater. Despite human speculation, there was no utopian dome covering Selkath cities.

Draike reached his ship, he had finally made his decision...He was going to leave the planet now and follow orders. Whatever was happening on this planet he felt the Selkath would be able to handle, he was a true Jedi, and Draike could tell that the man deserved absolute respect and was a capable Jedi indeed.

Draike reached out through the Force, trying to reach the Selkath; he could still sense him very clearly. He reached out, relaying his message and explaining his reason for leaving. Draike knew the Jedi would keep this planet safe, but now it was time for him to go his own path.

Rhen headed off and got in the cockpit of his starfighter. For one constructed originally out of low-grade durasteel, she was a tough old craft, but he had never taken her under water. Nonetheless, he lifted off from the launch pad before submerging into the depths.

The shape of the fighter was surprisingly smooth and aerodynamic in the water, and Rhen found little difficulty in adapting to his new environment. Should any cracks occur, he'd by protected by the waterproofness of his sealed armor, but his fighter would be ruined. Rhen moved towards the last spot of the Selkath Jedi's vessel was heard from. Noticing it going towards an underwater formation, Rhen followed.
