Soooo.... Do You LARP?

So recently I started LARPing (Live Action RolePlaying) and its so fun, and Im just wondering how many of you do it?

Its so fun, and if your on the fence I highly reccommend it.

I've been in a similar situation only replace "mace" with "that dope assault rifle from Halo"

Some pretty judgy folks for writers on a Star Wars role play forum. I had some roommates who were into it. It seemed like fun but there are really no groups in my area that I live in now.

Wasteland Weekend. And You would be correct, though not everyone does. Way I see it, if you are going into costume and into the environment, might as well go all the way. I go the length that I keep my mask on 90% of the event, removing it when I eat, drink and sleep. I also use a gruff accent. So do a lot of others. It's fun.

If my cutting through a park once three years ago to get to meetup with friends at a local diner, only to have a heavy, foam Dervish Spear thrown, and hitting me in the back... then yes. I have. If not, no I haven't.

Oddly enough, the Cryptologic Community of the Navy has a lot of larpers.

They're already an odd bunch to work with, but now I'm starting to realize the personality types associated with such an activity.

Most I'll do is some really geared up airsoft and that's about it.
