APPEARANCE:Soran is an unassuming young man with pale skin and brown middle length hair. If you were to spot him in a crowd it would be only as a bystander not the focus. His eyes, a cold blue that does not match his charismatic personality, hide a vast knowledge base that should not belong to a man his age. Thin and tall Soran is almost constantly dressed in a simple brown or black tunic completed with a blaster attached to his hip that goes opposite his newest prize, an older worn lightsaber.
*Update*
The last five years has been more than kind, Soran’s eyes have shifted from blue to a dark steel blue with thin red lines through out his irises, warped by the Dark Side. His hair has grown longer during his training and is now kept pulled back frequently. His time training showed him slowly change from a unassuming "child" to an attractive man. Soran has now changed his attire to the robes of a Sith that he wears proudly. He is happy to be part of the Empire and eager to help it expand. -
ATTRIBUTES:Soran, while highly intelligent (possibly one of the smartest beings in the galaxy if you were to ask him), his thin stature makes physical combat difficult for him against much larger opponents. What he lacks in physical size he makes up for in endurance from working on smugglers ships loading and unloading contraband quickly. Never tested by the Jedi, Soran has felt different than those around him his whole life quickly learning anything he desired through reading or little practice. (Attributed to his connection to the Force.)

PERSONALITY:Ever the opportunist, he utilizes people for simple and long-term gains dropping them when they stop being useful. His distrust of people stems from being abandoned on smuggler freighter shortly after his mother died. When first meeting Soran he will seem a quiet well-mannered young man, (if he finds you useful) in the case of being accepted by him as a “friend” you will see a true sociopath immerge. Very rarely will Soran truly open himself up, anyone that has this honor will have undying loyalty.
As a young man Soran loved to obtain knowledge by reading any text that was being transported on the shuttles he worked on. His love of knowledge took a new and darker form when he came across a Sith text comparing the Sith and Jedi codes. Soran began to seek out more and more information, the more he found the more he desired to learn from the Sith Empire directly.

Personality has remained much the same on the surface but Soran has become cold, distant, and cruel in the last 5 years training. His study has made him an expert in the deep Sith and Jedi History, wanting the downfall of the Jedi more than when his training began. Often considered an oddity by the others, Soran never truly became an apprentice during training but learned from anyone that would talk long enough for him to gather the information. He became somewhat close to the same man that brought him to Korriban, Calmax, the two would be the closest thing to friends that Soran could have. That ended when Calmax grew a conscience and turned his back on Soran. Over the last 5 years Soran has become amazingly attuned to the Force, this has allowed him to master many abilities but caused his saber skill to fall off. Regardless of being with or without lightsaber he has never been unarmed when he can speak. Not a true Marauder due to his lack in lightsaber training but still Soran commands respect due to his extensive knowledge of Sith magic and history. Since the “betrayal” of Calmax, Soran has developed a drinking problem and become a hedonist to cover the passions that lie just behind his eyes.
Soran has taken an apprentice of sorts in the form of Skaut Herald, he trains the young Sith in the most harsh ways possible and hopes for his failure frequently. "If you always win you never learn.", has become the title of the training for Skaut. Since taking a student Soran has forgiven his former friend Calmax but probably never say it openly to him.

BIOGRAPHY:An orphan from birth Soran grew up on smuggler ships and in backwater spaceports. Allowed to have beds on ships meant physical labor but it also meant eating. Unable to have a traditional education Soran taught himself many basic skills and was able to progress his knowledge base much faster than youth his own age that he came across at many ports. Often chastised by a number of ship captains for spending his time in any library that a planet may have, by the time he was 15 the same captains realized his value in navigation and understanding trade negotiations.
Never happy with just knowing enough to get by, Soran began using smuggling shipments as a way to learn about cultures as well as history. During his time Soran came across a text written by an unknown Sith follower comparing the Jedi and Sith beliefs in the force. The text was reported stolen to the buyer and Soran quietly left the ship to attempt to discover as much as he could about the Sith culture. He delved into all the lore that anyone or anywhere would sell him, his pursuit of knowledge took him to his first “friend”, Tallon Bard. (This next story is what drove Soran to seek out the Sith)
Tallon was an apprentice trader and able to get a wide range of items including text about the Sith. This friendship blossomed and Soran expanded his personal library and collection of Sith artifacts. The owner of the trading outpost caught wind of the new friend Tallon had made and saw through the relationship that Soran had built. Tallon was forbidden from helping his new friend. Frustrated with the decision of the owner Soran confronted him expressing how great a job Tallon had done in helping him collect rare pieces and for once Soran had made a true friend not just another means to an end. The owner continued to refuse and immediately banned Soran from the trade shop.
Realizing his time here was done Soran packed and planned to collect the last piece of his collection, a lightsaber from the aftermath of the Mandalorian Wars. Soran is discovered stealing the saber by the shop owner whom attempts to stop him from making his escape. During the conflict Soran cuts down the owner with the saber in a fit of anger, as the body falls to the floor Tallon enters the room hearing the commotion. Shocked by seeing his friend standing over his former boss with the stolen saber. Soran quickly convinced his friend that it was an accident, Tallon believed his friend but wanted to contact the authorities. Ignoring Soran’s plea Tallon attempted to send a message out but was also struck down in a similar fit of rage. Realizing what he had done Soran escaped the outpost in the night avoiding any real setbacks by boarding a ship toward the Sith homeworld of Korriban.

Soran was able to get transport as far as Nar Shaddaa, this is where he met a young Sith by the name of Calmax, the two talked for a short while and Calmax agreed to take him to Korriban to attempt entrance into the Dark Order. He was accepted and had his first introduced to his first Sith Priest, Len'Raz, he did not know it but he would be getting to know the Priests of the Order much better over the next five years. Soran trained for many long and hard hours to become a master of his craft, his research into Sith lore and history was immense. The first set of his research is in the following data:
Code:Sith History Notes Entry 1: A “dark” holocron, multiple entries in library records mention the creation of “dark” holocrons that describe and teach how to perform ancient Sith magic. No direct mention of where to find these holocrons – further research needed. Entry 4: Records show three of these “dark” holocrons were reported here on Korriban. Odds of them still being hidden away in tombs is low. Research continues. Entry 9: Short update, Calmax needs to meet on Hoth. I have found a small reference to an off world “dark” holocron. Will update when further information is available. Entry 10: Recent [I]events[/I] have caused my research to be slowed. The treachery of certain individuals will not be forgotten or forgiven. I will begin my work again tomorrow. Entry 17: Finally a breakthrough, the Boonta system may hold one of the devices I am looking for. There is a chance that this will be my last entry, if it is do not come looking for me it will be certain doom. Entry 19: Ah “home” Korriban is a friendly sight, my most recent journey. Boonta proved to be an adventure but my prize is worth what I have endured. A “dark” holocron is mine and all the knowledge it holds will be mine soon as well. I will not chronicle anymore of my research into this topic this is information that will accompany me to the grave.
Soran's five years of work have shown in the promotion from Marauder to Sith Lord, Soran Rosche is dead, Darth Chronos now exists.

SKILLS:Negation: Highly skilled manipulating situations and people to meet his needs. His ability to talk his way out of a situation has developed it into a weapon even when Soran is without blaster or saber.
Force powers mastered:
- Push/Pull – One post charge
- Telekinesis (Choke/Crush) – One post charge
- Force Lightning – One post charge, can charge for longer for stronger effect
- Dominate Mind/Fear – Up to 3 posts depending on desired effect
- Force Storm (Unique to Soran and his research into the history of the Sith, small scale such as a battlefield, he has not used this in battle yet) – 5-8 post charge depending on size of battlefield, Soran must be uninterrupted to use this power.
- Force Shield – one post charge, Soran creates a bubble of force power that can absorb one standard blaster, vibroblade, or saber attack.
- Persuade – can not use in battle, Soran can suggest to NPC to complete an action as long as he gives reasoning that could be valid
- Thought Bomb (Can not perform this on more than 2 beings) – 3 post charge, can only damage individuals not kill
- Memory Walk (One memory at a time must take a long time to recover) – 2 post charge, used only for interrogation
- Bend Mind – 2 post build Soran can reach into the mind of his victim twisting their paranoia to seemingly become reality (can cause weak minded opponents to have heart attacks, stroke, seizures, or faint due to fear or excessive adrenaline)
Marksmanship: An average shot with standard blaster pistol and rifle. Can use force assisted aiming.
Multilingual: Can quickly adapt to new dialects of multiple languages, has difficulty learning how to speak multiple languages but can understand many common tongues.
