Valkyrion Manor

Personal Lore ~ Alastair Valkyrion
Location ~ Serenno


Valkyrion Manor is a gothic mansion in a remote area of Serenno. It is owned by the Valkyrion family (currently only Alastair Valkyrion) and serves as a base of operations. Though it is simply a building.


Facilities

Valkyrion Manor has many rooms, mostly unused now. The furniture covered by tarps, dust and cobwebs filling the corners. However there are several areas that are still used.

  • One of the main wings of the manor holds five large rooms, each containing a full bedroom set (King bed, dresser, armoire, nightstands and a full-length mirror) and they each have a window either facing east or west. On the top floor are two more guest bedrooms and one large master suite.
    There is also a small wing of servant's quarters, along with a groundskeeper's hut on the peoperty.

  • Valkyrion Manor has one large dining room, with a long solid wooden table that seats twenty. Complete with matching chairs. Off of this dining room is a full scale kitchen, capable of churning out food to more than feed everyone with the table at full capacity.

    The pantries and storerooms of Valkyrion Manor are capable of being stocked with enough food to last several months. And beneath the house (through a hatch in the pantry floor) is a large wine cellar. Housing all manner of wines, ales and spirits. The Valkyrion family has always been fond of their collection, maintaining and logging it meticulously.

    There is also a ballroom in the manor, not often used. Its sconces and chandelier coated in dust and cobwebs. Though it’s hardwood floor is well worn from times wen it was used to hold grand parties.

  • Valkyrion Manor is home to a mid-sized forge, and small armory to store weapons and armor that are crafted within. The forge has long been silent now, the last thing created within was Alastair Valkyrion's sword. But at one time the Valkyrion forge churned out armor and weaponry as fast as the ingots could be made. The armory now is dusty and unused, any remaining pieces are rusty and out dated.

    The libraries are some of the only rooms that are well visited and maintained. Hundreds upon hundreds of books, scrolls and other written mediums are stored and catalogued here. Alastair's hunger for knowledge often leads him to these rooms for hours. Whenever there is a new acquisition it is logged and put in it’s place, eventually causing empty and unused rooms to be turned into more libraries.



History
Valkyrion Manor was built by Lucius Valkyrion in 7000 BBY and has housed many generations of the Valkyrion family, it has been handed down through the family for generations. The most recent such handing down was from Malakai Valkyrion to his son Alastair Valkyrion.

Valkyrion manor was once renowned for it’s forge, and the parties that were once thrown in It’s grand ballroom -in spite of its somewhat remote location-.

Otherwise the history of Valkyrion Manor is relatively unremarkable, and with the death of his father leaving him the only living Valkyrion he has cut the staff down to the bare minimum. Even going so far as to close off much of the manor.



Staff

Valkyrion Manor was once staffed by dozens of butlers, maids , cooks and smiths. Now there are only a few essential staff that keep the manor running.

The current staff includes:
1 Butler/Head of Staff
1Groundskeeper
2 Maids
1 Librarian


Intent

The intent behind Valkyrion Manor is simply to create an official writeup for my character Alastair Valkyrion's ancestral home. In It’s current state it is semi run-down and largely unused. I plan to have some of Alastair's activities be in relation to fixing the place up and restoring it to it’s former glory. Potentially expanding it at some point to house a barracks and other essential things for when Alastair progresses through missions and acquires his own troops.

Death to Deathsticks

ATTENTION ALL AVAILABLE AGENTS!
It has come to light that there is a drug ring operating within Imperial Republica. Their main traffic: deathsticks. This vile trade will not be tolerated, not now, not ever. This ring is to be infiltrated and shut down on all levels at all costs, delay will not be tolerated. Failure, is inexcusable.

Remember, this organization is small. Only SLIGHTLY more put together than the individual common criminal. We are the galaxies elite. Show them what happens when the line is crossed.

The operation will be spearheaded by Agent Talo Geist.

Now, go clean up the streets, and make your Empire proud!



Mission 1: Make ‘Em Talk

  • The task is simple. Two to three agents will capture a know deathstick dealer that has been linked to this drug ring and interrogate him -using any means necessary- to obtain information on the operation's activities on Coruscant before giving what's left of him after interrogation over to Coruscanti police for booking.

    It should be noted that while extreme force is authorized, termination of the target will result in corrective measures.

    It should also be noted that anyone getting in the way of the apprehension is to be dealt with in the quickest and most efficient way possible. Lethal force is authorized on any would-be impeders.

    The target dealer is one of the lowest of the low in the ring's chain. However he will have enough information to assist with the infiltration of the ring itself to further our goals.

    The target goes by the name Malakai. Wether this is his given name or a pseudonym is unknown but of lityle consequence. He is of average build for a male Zabrak. Has grey skin and is known to be rather cowardly past a certain point.

Mission 2: Entering the Ring

    This one will be a little more difficult. The task: agents will infiltrate the drug ring in order to ascertain information on the ring's supply chain.
    Agents are permitted to use any means necessary to achieve both the infiltration and the acquisition of the information. Bear in mind this will be a difficult and dangerous situation, though lethal force is authorized, over-exercising this privilege is not reccomended.

Mission 3: Clamber on Corellia

    Data acquired from the Coruscant branch of the drug ring has uncovered several key places and people in the supply chain.
    Enter Corellia. In a somewhat less-reputable warehouse district is one of the rings biggest distribution centers. The mission: get to the warehouse, and destroy it. Agents will be supplied with adequate explosive charges to compromise the building's structure and destroy it -along with the drugs and personnel within-
    Lethal force is -obviously- authorized.

Mission 4: Hiding in Alderaan Places

    Data acquired from the Coruscant branch of the drug ring has uncovered several key places and people in the supply chain.
    A key player in the ring's distribution has gone to ground on Alderaan, hiding out in a presumably empty estate. Agents are to locate and capture or eliminate this man.
    Lethal force is authorized when dealing with anyone who gets in the way.

    The target’s name is Neelar Samgametti. He is one of the lowliest scumbags you will ever meet, however he is an incredibly gifted businessman and coordinator. He always carries a blaster pistol and several knives, and keeps a retinue of four guards with him at all times.
    He and his guards are to be considered incredibly dangerous and treated with extreme prejudice.

Mission 5: They’re Onderon Side

    Data acquired from the Coruscant branch of the drug ring has uncovered several key places and people in the supply chain.
    Onderon is home to another of the ring's distribution warehouses, Agents are tasked once again with getting to and destroying the warehouse. Explosive charges will be provided.

Mission 6: Time Taanab a Big Fish

    With the information gathered on Coruscant and the dismantling of the supply chain, the drug ring's leaders have gone and hidden themselves.
    The ring's second-in-command has been sighted on the planet Taanab, the files acquired on the Coruscant mission layed out the locations of several safehouses -one of which happens to be on Taanab-
    The man will likely be armed and have a retinue of guards. Exercise extreme caution.
    The target is to be apprehended and…persuaded… to divulge the location of the ring's leader.
    What happens to the second-in-command afterwards is of little consequence.

    The target is a male Rodian by the name of Fleebonn. He is a ruthless criminal, and a damn good shot with his blaster pistol.

    He keeps a retinue of guards with him, all armed and armored accordingly for their job of guarding such a higj ranking member of the ring.

Mission 7: Ryloth Wrap Up

    The interrogation of Fleebonn revealed the name and location of the drug ring's leader. Even with her still at the head the ring would be far too crippled to make a comeback now, however we must be sure.

    Agents are to go to the final safehouse om Ryloth and capture or eliminate this high profile target.
    Exercise extreme caution.
    Lethal force is authorized.

    The target is the most dangerous yet, she is the top of the top of this drug ring. Her name is Tali'hama. She is to be considered extremely dangerous, usually carrying two blaster pistols and several short vibroblades.

    Her guards are equally dangerous, four of the most elite fighters the ring has to offer. A retinue befitting of the leader.
    Capture or kill this criminal, what happens to her retinue is of no consequence.
    Agents, previous missions have stressed extreme caution. Double that emphasis.

  • Einar has been alone for a large portion of his life, and he likes it that way. He would rather be in his workshop than with people, and that's where he spends most of his time. His main interaction with people is when they come to him for work, he takes his payment and delivers. That's his life. And that's the way he likes it.

    Early Life

    Einar grew up on the fridgid planet of Hoth in a small Deucalian settlement. He was always getting in trouble for tricking the other children -and sometimes the adults- and because of this he did not have many friends.
    The older he got the less he liked to be around people, spending more and more time tinkering in his father's workshop.

    The Lone Craftsman

    Einar became truly alone at the age of sixteen when his parents died, they had been out in the frozen wastes and -as far as any of the trackers could tell they were taken and killed by a Wampa. Instilling a hatred for them deep in his heart. It was also at that age that he discovered he had a connection to the force, though he did not know that was what the strange powers he had manifested were. He -and anyone who found out- believed him to be cursed by dark spirits. This caused him to become even more reclusive, barely ever venturing out of his workshop.

    Venturing out

    These days Einar has grown slightly bored of his usual tinkering, occasionally this causes him to venture out into the galaxy and take the odd combat related job here and there. Though he may be a master craftsman, he is still Deucalian and therefore still a warrior at heart. He relishes combat, and as he has fought and used his powers he has almost come to see them more as a gift from the spirits than a curse, however this is not something he shares with anybody.

  • Einar is something of a loner, preferring the company of machines and whatever else he can build over people. Though when with people he can be a joker and a trickster. When someone manages to earn his trust he is a steadfast and ever-loyal friend.

  • Einar is tall and thin, though he is covered in lean muscle both from working on large machines and fighting. He has orange-red hair that is thinning a little, making him seem much older than he is. And he has a beard an mustache. His eyes are a blue-grey, though they can appear green some times. He typically wears dark grey or brown pants with a green long sleeved shirt, brown boots, a brown leather vest with a brown belt and apron to hold his weapons and tools. He also wears a green cloak with a large hood. The strangest part of his appearance is the paint he wears on his face. Covering around his eyes and down his cheeks in two streaks.
