"All systems go sir! You are greenlight for takeoff."
Darix smiled as he made the final adjustments to the training pod. He had spent hours before hand within the pit of his fighter, Araels Wrath, making customizations to the displays and control modules to perfectly emulate the ship he had grown to love so dearly. This would ensure the most accurate possible simulation exercise. An important factor when the simulations difficulty decided to turn up the heat on him in the midst of combat.
He had set the simulation to behave like a pyramid. Starting off with enemies at a meager level of skill, that increased wave after wave until he faced foes equal to that of the GA's most experienced pilots.
"Very well, Begin simulation."
No sooner had he uttered the words the galaxy materialised before him in the brilliant high definition display of the training pods viewscreen. He gently guided the joystick left, then right, getting himself comfortable with any latency or differences in the ships performance that he may have overlooked. To his surprise the training pod was a mirror of Araels Wrath, from the targeting systems down to the roar of the engines behind him.
A series of high pitched alarms sounded and his targeting computer began to file through pages of information detailing the location and specifications of an enemy ship that had moved within range.
A smile crept upon his face as he allowed the force to flow through him. He emptied himself of all thought, all feeling. Becoming completely devoid of himself allowing the force to overtake him entirely. Like water filling a glass it poured into him, and he inhaled it.
He spun Araels Wrath into a sharp barrel roll and punched the thrusters. The ship roared with power and the force of the acceleration forced his back to the pilots chair, as he maneuvered to engage his target.
"Enemy spacecraft, this is Jedi Master Darix Talohn, you are in Galactic Alliance airspace. Disengange thrusters and weapons systems and await further instructions or I will be forced to engage."
