"They're my family" she started, explaining how she met each one, starting with how she had joined a group that Sinya, the Twi'Lek had also been a part of before the two killed the rest of the group after she discovered the bounty team wanted to begin slave trafficking, including children, stopping to explain that situation as well. Anna the Mirilan had actually tried to kill Kae'Tl, over a bounty dispute while they were both hunting the same bounty, obviously failing and becoming her prisoner. Dax, the Besalisk actually hired the crew to assist him on a bounty he'd taken after meeting them in a bar on Toydaria and becoming a part of the team after that. Eventually they hired X, the Xexto as the ships mechanic, who's strange personality quickly made him a member of the team,"And also we share everything, everyone gets an equal share. After the ship's maintenance is taken care of, of course." She went on to explain the hilarity of when X and Dax go at it about who's set of four arms is better.

Over all it appears that Kae'Tl, while being the captain and leader of the group, cares very much for each one of them.

"Hm...And you think it's worth the trouble, to take care if a group of people who could die anytime with ease? I'm not so sure." The man said simply as he took a drink from what she had offered him. He didn't seem to think 'friends' were worth the hastle, or the risk.

He almost seemed purely business, more so than bitter. Thiugh to think he wasn't so towards the sith would be an obvious mistake. Kaern didn't show much emotion but it was clear it was there, somewhere. This man didn't have much of anything to live for, it seemed, just doing his jobs until he doed. But maybe, if the Ossein Khanate actual did help people from oppression by warlords, crime syndicates...the Republic or the Sith...Kaern would in fact have something to live and fight for.

"It would make for an incredibly sad, and lonely life if I had nothing or no one to fight for" she went on,"They motivate me, and since none of us really fit in anywhere else, we fit in together."

While downing 3 more bottles of stolen Brandy the two had talked about several different subjects learning quite a lot about each other, finally landing on the topic of children,"
....And I hate all of those mother fhtagners slavers who do that to children.." explaining her rage against all who imprison or cause harm to children. Also explaining that this topic was the cause of her abandoning the Sith.

"Hm. Well, I guess I'm in the same boat. I don't know if I've ever thought about it, but I don't deal with children, either. Maybe not as militantly as you but hey, I know what it's like to have a sucky childhood, you know?" Kaern spoke, the alcohol really loosening his lips, bringing out a social, open side to him that hadn't been seen by most. The man was practically sober with how little he drank. But he figured he was a guest, and he wouldn't refuse Kae'Tl's offer for free drink.

"Looks like we'll make a great team, as long as you maintain that state of mind I mean." She said as she returned the half empty bottle she was holding back to its crate,"Probably shouldn't get too far gone, given what we're about to do." Not slurring her words despite the number of bottles that has been emptied.

"So look...." She started slowly,"After this missions over, if you ever wanted to join me for some "light" pirating I'd have no problem bringing you onboard." Putting extra emphasis on the word "Light' implying there would, in fact, be nothing light about it.

"Hmph...lone wolf guy like me? I don't know., but if I'm joining this whole new independent order then I guess I don't have any reason for not staying in your little group. By the way...there's an akk dog in your cargo hold, didn't mention him as one of my cargo before." Kaern said then, giving her a soft smile as he then held out his hand to her, seeming to accept the offer.

Kae'Tl took his out reached hand in a firm handshake,"Sounds good."
"By the way...there's an all dog in your cargo hold, didn't mention him as one of my cargo before."
"Well we'd better feed it.." it had been almost 2 hours since they left the space port and Kae'Tl didn't like the idea of the animal starving in her hold.
"He's not the mean kind is he? We could probably let him roam the ship." She said standing up and allowing Kaern to lead the way back to the hold.

"He's not the mean kind if I tell him not to hurt you...his names Volr, he's a pretty damn smart pet. I think you two should get along. And I'd say he could but Volr can be an unfortunately curious akk dog. So be careful where you put things you don't want to disappear. It'd probably be safer if we kept him on a leash in the cargo hold, just in case. But he doesn't mind that." Kaern assured her, still loosened by the alcohol as his gaze followed her, and suddenly he spoke again.

"You know I was told nightsisters were supposed to be ugly witches, but I haven't seen any evidence of that yet." The bounty hunter said, almost with a slightly flirtatious undertone.

"Well we can give him some running space in the hold." She said grabbing a steak and handing it to him."And this"

"...Ni
ghtsisters were supposed to be ugly witches..."

"
Well we don't all have pointy hats and moles.." She said smiling at the joke she'd just made.

He's hitting on me?

It had been a while since she'd been flirted with, and she didn't usually like standard humans, so the fact that this man was part Enchani certainty helped his case.

"
And only some of us can fly.." She added smiling.

"Well you're one of them. Or do you even consider yourself a nightsister anymore? You've been gone awhile from the group back on Dathomir, right? Or do you go back and visit them?" Kaern asked then, laying back in his seat as he shut his eyes lightly, uncharacteristically relaxed around Kae'Tl. It couldn't all be alcohol, could it? Even he was mostly sober, Kaern didn't exoect himself to be so influenced by the drug. He was normally wary around everyone, and always formal, quiet unless he needed to speak. Shouldn't he be even more careful around one of the minority of people who could pose a threat to him?

The man, while his words weren't very flirtatious, was noticeably asking questions to actually get to know her. He was curious, or maybe even more specifically interested in her.

"I've been back once.." leaving that conversation open ended.

"Now then... I'm not particularly good at this but...." She said lifting a Dejarik holo-table onto the table,"I figured we could make a go of this.." She added with a small impish smile. The smile could have been construed that she was excited for the game, or that perhaps she was not being entirely truthful about her skill with the game.

"A game? Why not. Well, power it up...What stakes are we playing?" She heard him ask then, slightly tired, maybe still a bit tipsy. But the bounty hunter clearly wasn't struggling, just loose, freer to the idea of fun. It was something he hadn't allowed himself to have for some time, had no one to really do anything with. Now there was Kae'Tl, and it seemed with the alcohol bringing his walls away, Kaern had deep down been wanting a distraction to give show a good time.

Kae'Tl fired up the game,"How about small stakes, lets say, just 10,000 credits." She knew referring to the amount of credits as small would trap the man into agreeing.

"Take it easy on me though, I haven't played this much." She lied, but there wasn't any indication of the lie on her face, in fact she had played the game nearly every day with her crew.

"Ready?"

"Hmph, alright, sure." He spoke, only arching his brow. It didn't seem the number interested him, and not because it was too small to him in any way. He seemed to not care about making or losing any amount of credits, but Kaern nodded simply all the same.

"Well then, I suppose I'll make the first move." He spoke, pressing a single button to begin.

After about 45 minutes the pair found themselves locked in an intense game with neither player gaining any notable lead over the other.

"I suppose we're at an impasse." She said and motioned to the game. "Draw?" She wasn't used to not winning.

"Well, I'm not used to leaving something unfinished, but I suppose I'll take a draw over a loss." He spoke, holdimg pit his hand. "Maybe we can finish with something else?" Kaern offered then as an idea.

Kae'Tl's left eyebrow went up so high and fast it looked like it might have shot off her face entirely,"What'd you have in mind?" She said slowly and in a soft voice as she picked up yet another bottle of Brandy, passing it to her guest only after taking a long drink first.

"Well give me more of this and you might about end up with anything." The bounty hunter chuckled, but managed to hold himself to a light swig.

"It's getting a little hot in here...mind if I strip down?" Kaern suddenly asked as he yawned, already standing up and starting to unhook his armored suit then before she could really answer.

He was only trying to take a small drink, Kae'Tl took a seat on the table near him and helped him by lifting the bottom of the bottle up a bit more causing more and more to swirl out of the bottle,"I could go for this.... anything.... But you're gonna have to get your hand off your saber " she said, not only talking about the man's.

Kae'Tl leaned away and spoke into her comm,"Stay outta the mess hall" she ordered the crew before turning off and throwing her comm from her ear. She floated her twin sabers from her person to a nearby countertop.

"Kae'Tl...you better watch what you're doing. We're not exactly in the best mind." Kaern managed to say as he stared down at her, but she watched as without him pulling his lightsaber, it clipped off of his belt and landed beside her own.

When she looked down from helping him undress she saw he was now just in his spacesuit bottoms that were his pants, and the tight undershirt for his full suit. His body was easy on the eyes, a fee scars over his arms that added the rugged look to his thinner, but still muscled physique.
