@Krajin
Eli dismissed himself after everyone had gone about their business. It was a small matter going back to the ship and prepping it for their journey tomorrow. The Morellian gave orders to his crew to give her a complete systems and functions check. Torie, Beata, and Dan all went about the cabin, engine room and cargo storage checking seals and electronic systems. Eli retreated into his cabin and went to his small personal armory there. He casually glanced at the small viewscreen located opposite his bed as it scanned back and forth around the perimeter of the ship. It casually panned across the Kushari practicing with his lightsaber. Eli smiled a cocky, wry smile and looked up at his songsteel cavalry saber. Knowing he would not pose an overwhelming threat to the feline, he still valued the chance to challenge himself and thought, "the worst he could say is, no." Perhaps Eli might even gain the Jedi's respect. Moreover he may even win if he kept his wits about him and used his cunning to its utmost. Eli took his saber down, affixed it to his waist, tightened his boots and strapped a vibroweave cape into his epaulettes. The caped draped beautifully over his off-shoulder.
The Captain strolled down the boarding ramp of Susannah and casually strolled up to the Kushari. he kneeled down enough meters away that he would not interrupt his meditation unless the Jedi wanted him to, bringing the hilt of his sabre across his belt and lowered his head and began meditating himself. The Kushari had of course noticed him but he let Eli remain in silence for a long while, probably testing his discipline. Eli didn't waver and calmed his nerves. Meditation wasn't a practice Eli was alien to. Finally the Kushari acknowledged Eli without acknowledging him. Eli stood and bowed without words and drew his sword saluting the Jedi.
