Yavin IV was drastically different from Leon's home. The humid jungles full of lush living creatures painted a stark contrast to the freezing mountainous terrain he'd been raised on. He could feel the peace of the world which seemed to emanate from the very foliage he was surrounded by. His leather boots trod lightly on the fertile earth below as he traversed a portion of the jungle that was new to him.
Leon was glad to be away from the temple. He felt stifled by the amount of care people seemed to exude there. He wasn't used to being coddled which is what prompted his current expedition. His objective was simple in nature but was proving complex in practice. The force, or Seidhr as his mother called it, was fickle in it's teachings and Leon found himself grasping at the metaphysical thread he'd followed out here...
Deciding to take a moment to gather himself, The Padawan perched on a rock and pulled a protein bar out of his utility belt, while taking a sip of water from his cantine. He was outfitted in his meager armor. Around his waist hung his utility belt, and clipped to it were his collapsed plasma bow and lightsaber. Sheathed at his back were his twin deucalian daggers. He had a personav with the coordinates of the temple input, so he was never truly lost, but he didn't want to rely on the tech to get back.
As he chewed his bar there was a stirring. Something fluttered in the force just at the edges of his perception. Leon went rigid and his hand slipped to the hilt of a dagger. He closed his eyes and allowed his consciousness to open to the flow of Seidhr. Whatever it was, was close and getting closer. Leon positioned himself into a crouch and chose to unclip his lightsaber from his belt. He was poised and ready for what was coming.
