The Wook's Crew was a crime gang that operated within the framework of the Hutt Cartel and was formed by The Wook. In the beginning he had no formal center of operations, which made it difficult for rivals to figure out what he was up to or where he would expand next. He mostly operated on Nar Shaddaa initially, though after the election of Queen Lucille of Alderaan, he turned an eye towards the galaxy at large for possibilities.

The Wook's Crew provided a host of illicit services, including: Illicit warehouses, smuggling, bounty hunting, and piracy.

History

The Wook founded his criminal empire by combination of his vast profits from bounty hunting, and stealing a warehouse from a spice gang on Nar Shaddaa. After the previous owners tried to take it back, The Wook successfully defended the warehouse and decided to expand it by including a hardened, hidden vault for storing especially valuable items or people in an emergency. He formalized the beginning of his piracy operations at the same time, having already established himself as a formidable bounty hunter. His ascent to prominence in terms of physical assets was slow. He spent most of his time forging quiet relationships and alliances before finally moving his pieces into place.

During and after the Warehouse saga, The Wook directed most of his efforts into personally building a solid crew that he saw potential in and could act as his lieutenants so future expansions would go smoothly and have someone competent in charge once his attention was elsewhere. One notable instance was on Raithal where he recruited two bounty hunters after driving the Jedi off-planet. From there, he acquired a safehouse in a seedy neighborhood.

Structure

Though The Wook and his criminal enterprise work within the structure of the Hutt Cartel, it possesses its own structure as well:

    • Boss: This position is occupied by solely by The Wook. In the event of his death, the position passes to his second-in-command or his usurper (depending on his manner of death).
    • Right Hand: This position is occupied by only one (1) being, chosen by The Wook himself, who served as his second-in-command.
    • Lieutenant: The Wook has many lieutenants. His lieutenants both serve as managers of his affairs (warehouses, piracy, smuggling, etc.) and to lead any outposts he establishes beyond Nar Shaddaa. They report directly to him.
Beneath these ranks are the members of The Wook's Crew: An invaluable network of bounty hunters, mercenaries, pirates, and smugglers, as well as entertainers and anyone else who works for him. These employees compete for jobs, credits, and favors from The Wook as they seek to ascend in both his gang and in the larger Cartel.

Note: The Wook's Crew does not work based off of Levels. Members are chosen for positions based on their willingness to take part in the gang's story and their overall contributions/activity to the gang. Members of his gang can also work with other criminals within the Hutt Cartel who may be allied with The Wook's Crew: for example, the Toasted Twi'lek gang or Nem'ro Besadii Ziir's Criminal Empire.

Assets

The following are assets of The Wook's Crew (all have been obtained in either threads or plots):

Locations

    • The Warehouse Complex (Nar Shaddaa)

    • A two-story safehouse with attached garage (Raithal)

Roster

Alliances & Relationships

Blue indicates a strong alliance/friendship.

Green indicates a mutually profitable relationship or a one-sided appreciation, more neutral than anything else.
Red indicates a heated rivalry or an enemy.

* While the Republic, as an entity, is an enemy of The Wook and the Cartel in general, he is not above forming business partnerships with individuals, corporations, or even entire planets within the Republic.

Intent

To create another criminal enterprise within the Hutt Cartel for Hutt players to go to for jobs, socialization, and good storytelling. This article will be updated as the gang gets new members and as operations expand (or contract, as it were).

Blackwell Independent Technologies

Overview
Blackwell Independent Technologies (BIT) is a new firm established by Tasha Blackwell. Originally, Tasha had ties to the Sith Empire, and also worked as a dancer at the Lusty Lekku. However, limited career opportunities and a lack of passion to rise up within the Sith ranks led her to pursue her own interests. Having worked with clients from various backgrounds, she has very good insights into what merchandise and products are marketable throughout the galaxy. As a result, Tasha connected with her wealthier clients to approach them about investing into her business ventures in turn for a share of the profits.

Her initial funding went towards acquiring a corporate office to set up a supply chain for manufactured goods. The initial employees have worked to streamline a product purchasing model that connects with distributers all across the galaxy. The firm does not have any explicit allegiances to any factions, though it will not hesitate to work with all. Tasha recognizes the value in appealing to all customers, and she has hired researchers to study market trends and analysis to deliver the best merchandise.

Tasha’s goals are to start small and eventually expand beyond anything she could have ever achieved within the Sith or as a dancer. Her goal is to pull together the best of the best for a team that will drive innovation and technology to give her firm a brand name across the galaxy.

Organization
BIT is broken down into several divisions of interests. While all of these are small for now, there is plenty of opportunity for growth in each. The focus to start is weapons/armaments. This focus covers a wide range of products – starting from personal weapons and all the way to vehicle and ship armaments. BIT works to set up contracts with suppliers, along with housing their own manufacturing to provide the most in demand weapons and technology to the galaxy. Their products will aid in the war effort for all sides, and the company aims to remain neutral in its allegiances.

BIT also hopes to venture into science and R&D efforts to not only establish holdings in kolto production, but to also innovate and create entirely new prototypes for technologies. BIT is always hiring the brightest minds in science and technology, and there is plenty of opportunity for growth. As the company grows, there will be executive roles to fill. Players in these roles will be tasked with leading their own divisions and growing their own field of expertise.

The public relations division is focused around building lasting relationships with leaders of other factions and/or maintaining existing relationships with suppliers. This division also works to maintain a professional image of BIT to the general public, and to perpetuate the notion that this is a very neutral company that can offer plenty of profit to all sides.

Intent
To create a corporation that hopes to eventually become a large enterprise that supplies technology, medical supplies and other products to players/factions as a whole. The intent is to create a very organic concept that offer tangible benefits and canon ties to existing technologies. This will function similarly to how Czerka worked, but managed and run entirely by PCs.

[fancybox4=https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/thehungergames/images/7/7e/Rue_tribute_portrait.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120207225858] Lily Solus [/fancybox4]

NAME: Lily Solus
AGE: 10
SPECIES: Human

FACTION: Mandalorian
RANK: Plebe

HEIGHT: 4'10 ft
WEIGHT: 75 lbs
SKIN COLOR: Brown
EYE COLOR: Black

Character Information

  • Lily is the daughter of Leandros Solus and the late Raz Solus. She was born shortly before the glassing of Mandalore and resided with her parents in their home in the capital. However, while she was still a toddler, Mandalore came under Sith attack and the bombings destroyed much of the planet. Her mother gave her life in this battle, dying while fighting a Sith Lord.

Since then, she had been raised by her father, on Onderon where it was far away from the current state of war. She was raised to be Mandalorian from a very young age, and she accompanied her father to every important dealing he had that wasn't combat. She had seen Jedi, civilians from different worlds and species of all kinds and was much more exposed than the average child.

Despite her father having started a crusade and a war, she was dedicated in her own way to contribute as a Mandalorian. She was raised to follow the religion like her father, though she had heard rumors that her mother wasn't too religious herself. She often quarreled with her father - who often got lost in his grief and sight of present things.

As the war went on, Lily began to think about the part she would have to play. With two Mand'alors as parents, the bar had been set exceptionally high, and it often saw her alienated from others in Mandalorian society.

  • Lily is normally a reserved girl, though she has inherited her mother's traits of being extra boisterous and playful. She does her best to get on her father's last nerve, but she is always there when things are tough for them both. The two have an inseparable bond, though it's not always externally apparent. Having been exposed to so many people and cultures has made her more confident, though it is rapidly developing into stubbornness that both her parents and her clan is infamous for.

    The Caped Crusader
Born on Phatrong, Toc was named after his descaled father, who had been a decorated officer of the law on the planet. He grew up with his father's legacy overshadowing his every achievement, his mother judging him against her dead husband's memory and Toc always came up short. Though he excelled in his studies, and ended up joining the constabulary at a very young age, it was never quite enough to satisfy his mother.

At the constabulary, Toc had a slightly better time,
He was fourteen when his father made a bid to step up in life and used all their life savings to buy a seat at a high stakes sabaac game. But what he didn't know was that the Hutts controlled the game, and were not particularly interested in letting a nobody like Wax participate. They arranged for Wax to have an accident that left him with grave injuries and in need of medical aid that neither Wax nor Pash could afford.

Left with no other option, Pash showed up at the sabaac game in the hopes of participating with the seat his father had purchased. The Hutts, expecting him to lose and gaining another life indebted to them, let him participate. But much to everyone's surprise Pash won, and in spectacular fashion at that. But the Hutts would not let him leave so easily, and stole his winnings from him before he had gone even a block from the site of the match and left him unconscious in some back alley.

By the time Pash regained consciousness, all his winnings were gone. Wax, on his deathbed without the treatment the could have saved him, made Pash promise to leave Nal Hutta and make a better life for himself. Pash stayed true to that promise and left Nal Hutta soon after his father's death, ultimately ending up on the Core Worlds planet of Plexis.

He joined one of the smaller spice gangs on Plexis, and with his natural charisma and experience growing up on Nal Hutta, Pash quickly gained the ear of the leader of the gang. The leader, a former con-artist from Coruscant named Wayne Andrillian, had also lost everything to the Hutts and shared in Pash's hatred of their entire organization. Pash was able to use this to earn his trust, and Wayne quickly took him on as his protege and taught him everything he knew.

Over the next couple of years Wayne was able to absorb or destroy most of the spice gangs on the planet to greatly increase his influence, and Pash was by his side through the ascent. But having seen the influence the Hutts had on Nal Hutta and Nar Shaadda, the two were not satisfied with controlling just the spice trade on the planet. Working together, with Pash's luck on the gambling tables and experience as a con-artist on Nal Hutta, and Wayne's newfound power, guile and experience, Wayne slowly and steadily became the leader of the criminal underworld on the planet. The fact that there hadn't been much of an underworld on the planet to begin with helped Wayne to become the undisputed crime lord of Plexis.

But Wayne's ambitions went further, and he also began establishing legitimate businesses to be the face of his various enterprises. While Wayne was the face and brains of these enterprise, Pash was the engine that worked behind the scenes to keep it running. In the decade since his arrival on Plexis, he had grown from a young boy grieving his father's death to right hand of one of the most powerful men on the planet. When the previous Senator from Plexis died, it was fairly easy for Wayne to get Pash elected as his replacement, hoping to further increase his wealth with the safety and influence of the Senate on his side.

Flambouyant, over-the-top, charming, and possessing a devil-may-care attitude, Pash is a born risk-taker who has gambled his way to success. But that does not mean he is careless with his work or his life. He is very detail-oriented, highly observant of everything going on around him and taking a very hands-on approach to every job he participates in. This has allowed him to pick up a lot of disjointed knowledge and skills over the years. He is also an improviser, knowing that everything can't always go to plan he is quick to adapt and think on his feet, and his varied skill set allows him to improvise better than most.

But what people remember most about him are the quirks. He has an almost unhealthy love for crisps, and is never seen without a bag in his hands or on his person. Though at times he might replace the crisps with something deep fried or something loaded with booze. He is also a natural charmer and a womanizer, and it is not uncommon for him to get distracted by the presence of a beautiful woman. Some even see this as a weakness and have used it against him in the past. His charm also allows him to manipulate people, and he can sweet talk his way out of most situations. He is also cursed by a chronic inability to get anywhere on time.

As a Kyuzo, Toc possesses a strength that doesn't match his lanky frame. Add in the superior reflexes and extensive combat training of his people, and Toc was a deceptively dangerous opponent, despite his appearance. He is a very skilled close quarters combatant, using his speed and strength in conjunction with his small frame to negate the larger reach of larger opponents and overpower them with fists and kicks. Alongside hand to hand combat, he had also received training with melee weapons and firearms during his time as a Constable on Phatrong, and is just as deadly with a weapon in his hand as he is unarmed.

Alongside his martial skills, Toc is also a very smart and perceptive individual. As a constable, he had been a more than competent investigator, and those skills have served him well in the Cartel. After leaving Phatrong, he has picked up on more languages beyond his native Kyuzo, being fluent in both Huttese and Galactic Standard Basic.

Pash is an extreemly intelligent and determined young man, quick on the uptake and sharp as a knife. Growing up the streets imparted him with street smarts, and that above anything else has kept him alive over the years. He is an excellent marksman, be it with hold-out blasters or rifles with their greater ranges. He is also good at tracking and moving without attracting too much attention to himself, a result of the years spent as a pickpocket on the streets of Nal Hutta. His life experiences have taught him a varied and highly disjointed set of skills. Fighting for survival as a child taught him brawling, while years of criminal life have honed his hand-to-hand combat abilities. He is also an ace pilot, and a good mechanic, more than capable of keeping his ship flying. He is also a competent slicer. His tendency to get involved in the various aspects of a con and learning what was needed to pull it off has resulted in him picking up a lot of disjointed knowledge and skills over the years. Astrophysics, medicine, art, cooking are but some of the fields he has picked up some smattering of information in. But he is far from a expert in any of them, as he tends to learn just enough to get by, and drops the subject as soon as the job is done.

  • Weapons and Armor
Pash carries a CSA-2A blaster pistol as his primary firearm, though he also carries a Stinger stun blaster tucked away in his boots as a failsafe. A collapsible vibro-sword is his primary melee weapon. He is also in possession of a PB-Series protocol droid that has been loaded with piloting protocols and various legal protocols and serves as his personal chauffeur and aide.

    x[NPC] Wayne Andrillian

Wayne Andrillian is the leader of the criminal empire on Plexis and the mastermind behind getting Pash his seat on the Senate. Once a rising start within the ranks of the Hutt Cartel, he was thrown out after he slept with the wrong woman and angered the Vigo he served. The scars he bears on his face were a part of the punishment he received at the time of his banishment. With Pash's help, Wayne has since consolidated the various criminal organizations on Plexis, and even set up some legitimate fronts for his wealth. He is by far the most influential person on Plexis, and hopes to use Pash's position in the Senate to further his power. The relationship between Wayne and Pash is that a weird mix of mentor-mentee and fathers-son, with both of their pasts preventing them from being truly familial in the conventional sense.
