Adonia took the bread from Matsu and ate it quickly and then washed it down, eating for her was not the problem, it was remembering to eat that was the issue. When Adonia was young she was taught to operate off the smallest amount of food, and she was getting three times as much at the Jedi Academy, so anyone from her tribe would understand her dilemma, but unfortunately no one here was from her tribe so she was forced to make due. Just as she finished her food and gave Matsu a cheesy smile they were interrupted by a rather nervous looking boy who seemed to a bit uncomfortable. Adonia had seen the boy before but on fleeting glances, she smiled at him still clutching one of her ribs, “Hello Traven Oli, I am Adonia Xylona.” She smiled as she turned to introduce Matsu who would not be talking herself, “This is my good friend Matsu.” Adonia nodded to the man next to him, “And who is that with you, whoever you are you both were late for Dinner, the younger ones are already on the second helping."

Adonia pushing away her sensation of pain, finally had the presence of mind to get a good look at the characters that had just approached them, the Nervous one was clearly a padawan, but it was odd that she had not sparred with him before, but then again she didn’t really know him, so clearly they ran in a different circle of masters. The older looking one had more of an ill favored look; it was almost like he was the manifestation of the stories her mother used to tell her about sneaky devils, and mischievous imps. Adonia was far too polite to be poking around and another’s mind so she decided to do things the old fashioned way, a downside to talking to anyone besides Matsu. “You don’t seem like a Padawan…” Adonia looked puzzled if he was a knight she would give him the proper respect, “I think that one is a knight...” She relayed to Matsu with the force. Adonia looked on confused as he younger one turned to walk away, Adonia would have none of that so she grabbed his shoulder gently to come back, “Is it something I said?”

Matsu looked at Traven and kept her face blank as she was introduced and she nodded looking at the knight and spoke back to Adonia through the force. "You may be right, if she is then we will want to impress." Slowly Matsu tilted her head and looked at Traven and then at Killian and her voice echoed through the force as she raised an eyebrow. "Are you are?" Slowly Matsu took her other hand out of her coat and opened it up popping her neck and she held out a hand to Traven and Killian giving a bow to Makara as she spoke through the force. "I am Matsu Ike."

Rather, something that you didn't say -corrected calmly Makara at the sight of the womans gesture- I am Makara and this is my friend Traven, we were wondering, you mind if we sit here? -he requested politely as if nothing had happened, not mentioning anything else, whilst introducing themselves with a gesture.

Killian walked up with Makara as the Padawans spoke with one another. He said nothing as he walked up, only scanned the area and watched. He did not like to talk. It wasn't in his nature to speak first. The boy padawan, Travan, seemed to think he had been ignored and began to walk away, only to be fished back. This is why Killian did not do relationships. Too many things could go horribly wrong. Plus, history had shown several times that love was a cruel mistress, and Killian would not get caught up in her web. Alas, something was not right.

As they walked up, Chora walked past them towards the door. He felt something as she strode by... A twinkling of... Anger? Hate? Regardless, she passed without saying anything and Killian was not going to say anything to her. He then saw Adonia and her hand pressed against her rib. He listened to the conversation but mostly concentrated on the Force. Letting himself become one, he reached out towards Adonia silently, scanning for her ailment like a Doctor.

A Cracked rib. Must of been from an earlier fight or spar. She would definitely need to go to the Medical Bay, that was certain. He snapped back to reality when he saw that Matsu was bowing and annoucing her name. Bowing as well, Killian spoke, his voice rising in volume as he spoke. It had been hours since he had used it, and its courseness showed this. "I am Killian Lok. It pleases me to meet all of you." He then gestured towards Adonia. "You stand here in obvious pain. What is wrong?" He spoke matter of factly, not hiding any inflection or worryment.

The hand on his shoulder nearly drove him into a fit of rage. What trickery was this? First they ignore him, and now they act as if nothing happened? It was beyond insulting such acts should not come from Jedi. His fist balled in frustration, but it was Makaras voice that traveled over it all.

It was calm. He had been ignored as well, yet he was calm. Forgiving like a true Jedi. Slowly his fist uncurled. Yes, even if this was wrong thing to do, anger was not the solution. Anger lead to the dark side. He had to get control of the emotions that plagued his soul.

He closed his eyes trying to connect to the force, but it was difficult. The mass of force sensitive people crowded into the small area made connecting.. harder than it was to do in solitude. Slowly, he siphoned off some from what he could gather letting it flow through him.. washing away the taint that had marked him. Calmly him, well, at least back to his normal self.

Slowly he reopened his eyes and slowly turned to face the women who had placed her hand on his shoulder.. Looking into her blue eyes, he felt control once again.. although embarrassment slowly sunk back in the form of a slight blush from the scene he had just caused.

"It is nice to meet you." Traven forced out nodding to both girls.

Adonia paused for a second, she really didn’t know what she did wrong, everything happened at once, She was in the middle of a conversation with Matsu, she tried to invite Chora to the Table, but her cracked rib got in the way, and she was randomly approached by a Nervous stranger. “It was not my intention to insult either of you please sit .” Alayna motioned to the free seats at the table, and she took one herself. She gingerly lowered herself into her chair, as her ribs began throb, it was not the first time she had broken a rib, it had happened several times when she was younger, but that didn’t mean she enjoyed it, to her it was the worst kind of pain, it was the unavoidable kind, each breath she took, put pressure on her chest. “So why do we have the honor of your company?” Adonia continued to shift in her seat trying to find an angle that did not leave her in agony, “You would not believe how much this hurts…” The way she relayed it was not of pain but of sarcasm, she still could not believe she let a weasel like Tavian injure her like that.

Adonia inner conversation was interrupted by the force, someone was scanning her she could almost feel it like that rays of the sun peeking through the canopy, it was very relaxing. She soon caught sight of her care giver as he announced himself proudly, he quickly dug into her about her injury, Adonia liked being around so many people, but she did not particularly care for being fussed over, “I took a shot to the ribs in a Parrying Drill, it feels like one is broken, wouldn’t be the first time…”

Adonia smiled at Traven, she really did feel bad, she did not mean to ignore anyone, but if he felt what she did at this moment, she knew they both would understand, “I really am sorry Traven, it was not my intention to anger you.”

Matsu looked at Adonia and sat down as she looked at Traven and Killian and spoke to Adonia with a slight laugh to her voice in the force. "Your saying this to a girl who practices nerve strikes by dripping acid.?" With another look at Traven, Matsu spoke through the force and raised her eyebrows gently. "Nor was it mine, you I do not recognize." Slowly Matsu just stared at the three on the other side of the table as she didn't know if they could hear her thoughts or even knew to listen.

The hunger -replied Makara simply- and to that broken rib of yours -added with a small rise of his eyebrows as he took a seat. The skin on his arms showed no tatoos or markings like that of his face as he placed them upon the table- How comes you broke a rib sparring? -it was something uncommon to break bones during training sessions, moreso during lightsaber combat with training sabers, and Makara figured there would be no padawan who would hit on a fallen opponent to the point of breaking his rib, so this was indeed caught his attention.

Dripping acid didn't sound like a Padawan custom either, what were they up to? Makara looked at everyone with a small smile, including the leaving girl. Was it just him or everyone was a wreck?

Adonia, that was the blue eyed woman's name. Well, at least he hoped it was, and that meant the other, the acid one, was Matsu. They were a strange mix. He and Makara were not so strange. Besides his makeup he was merely a laid back Jedi Knight, and Traven was the average Padawan.

"It is fine Adonia." Traven replied to her apology.. He had to learn. Jedi do not hold grudges.. It felt like he was constantly chiding himself, but that was what it took sometimes he concluded. To be a great Jedi, you had to be your own harshest critic.

The acid girl, Matsu, sent a message across the force, but why? Was she testing him? Why speak through the force if they were mere feet from eachother? Was she embarrassed? It was all rather perplexing. He would not speak over the force when he saw no need in it. A Jedi did not misuse the force... or that is what his instructors beat into him often enough. "Like Makara said. I am Traven, and before today, I have never seen either of you either." He said.

Hurt during a sparing match? That was strange, although he would not ask why. If she wanted to tell them, she would tell them, that and Makara already asked. He never broke anything sparing, he was rarely hit anymore... well, he was hit by the sensor droids often. Makashi was not known for its ability to deflect blaster shots.

“It was a simple parrying drill our teacher wanted a younger student to learn to overcome a person with great reflexes, thought it looks like he won, he left himself open to a kill shot, so if you see a boy with a burn mark on his neck , then you would have met my opponent.” Adonia really did not need the entire room fussing over her, it was not warranted, and on top of it all, it was embarrassing, the last thing she wanted to do was to come off weak to complete strangers. “I plan to make my way to the infirmary, but for now I was enjoying the company of Matsu, and now you have arrived, and since I have already insulted you once today I see no reason to do it again by rudely leaving.”

“Everyone gets reckless when large amounts of Jedi arrive, as if they will win their approval by cheating, most of them don’t stop and think, they are too eager to be chosen.” Adonia laughed at the thought of some of her peers nervously swinging there blades about, and how easy it was to defeat them, except for Tavian, who left her with a going away present. “Are you here to choose or have you already chosen?” This question was directed toward Makara, who she was certain was a Jedi Knight.

Matsu looked at Adonia and nodded as she gave a slight grin and nod of approval, as she looked towards Makara and raised an eyebrow. It was curious to see the man and he seemed to be friends with the slighted padawan as she slipped out of her coat and spoke beginning to apply a second coating of the bacta along the length of her arms on the bruises and she looked at Adonia. "Our fellow padawans wish to show they are the best but they lose sight of what is important. We must want to help people and not desire personal advancement." Slowly Matsu looked at her hands as she ate some more bread and spoke seeing the partially healed burns. "Still as far as trials of the flesh go you can learn to lessen the pain by thinking of who it might save in the future. I hope your master is ready to handle the second fastest padawan in he temple." Slowly the last was said with a sly grin as Matsu looked at the jedi knight and Traven getting her coat and gloves into a nice small pile. on the table.

HK-51 Unit 20 is ready to serve.

The near-5000 year old droid finished its pre-activation diagnostics, then activated, lighting the photoreceptors a cool hue of light blue. Walking over to a supply locker located near it, No. 20 typed in the passcode, or at least what he thought was the passcode, as the security lock failed to open the locker. Deciding to take a more disabling approach, No. 20 aimed its fist at the lock and fired an ion blast at it. The electrical arc hit the computer, causing sparks to fly off of it. No. 20 gently pulled on the door, opening it to reveal his prototype Droid Assassin Rifle and an old Verpine Droid Disintegrator ion rifle, his 2 main weapons. Getting the ion rifle over his back plate, it grabbed the Assassin Rifle, an old customized disruptor rifle, and put the gun in a firing position. It moved over to the self-opening door, then stepped out into the hall.

No. 20 was a very unique droid in that it had achieved what could be considered sentience(depending on your definition of the word) due to numerous software and hardware upgrades. It could problem-solve, it could determine whether an action was ethical or not, and it could determine what to say at what time. Now, however, it was time to wake up his platoon, which he did by utilizing his ability to mimic voices and sounds to copy a loud siren. His troops immediately woke up and mobilized in the hall. No. 20's cold, expressionless eyes peered over each of the tired, disheveled, recently woken up men.

Statement: I am quite honestly surprised at your behavior, meatbags. I expected you would've known I was coming to wake you up this time. Nonetheless, I have orders from my Master that we are soon to be deployed in combat.

The men and women in the platoon immediately knew what the droid was referencing: its "Master" was the group of people who gave it orders and intel. This meant that the platoon would soon be deployed on whatever battlefield the Sith chose to engage the GAA in. The troops would then be quickly deployed on a carrier, then they would be shuttled via dropship down to whatever planet they were ordered to. At this, some troops began to question whether or not it was a good idea to have a droid commanding them.

Amusing Statement: I am no Force user who can read minds, but I at a minimum know that some of you are afraid that this unit will exhibit poor leadership on the battlefield. I intend to silence these inaudible thoughts right now. Command: Those who feel this unit cannot perform the same duties as a pathetic Clone Wars-era B1 Battle Droid Commander, step forward from the line.

Several troops stepped forward.

Malicious Statement: Good... Good... By stepping forward and showing you have no faith in this unit's ability to lead, you have just signed your removal from this platoon. Any other meatbags who want soldiers with the same lack of faith in their leader as you can feel free to take you. Order: Now get out.

The troops that stepped forward immediately began to walk away from the sinister ex-assassin droid and the remaining loyal troops.

Resigning Statement: Now I need to discuss with my Master the acquiring of new, loyal troops that are willing to, as a meatbag would say, "stick around". Order: The rest of you, at ease. You are dismissed from this roll call, and may go about whatever it is you usually do.

The soldiers broke out of their line and began to walk about the base, while No. 20 hooked up to a computer terminal and began to overview recently promoted and recently recruited soldiers to fill the holes in his platoon.

What was he, a wookie? -Inquired Makara with curiosity. He could understand the fact that many of the padawans would be nervous about the selection or wanting to stand out over the rest, but sheer cheating was certainly not the way of the Jedi. And it was not something wise to do either, as many masters could feel deceit in people.

I disagree
-he said finally with a tranquil smirk- you should head to the infirmary. I asure you that a rib piercing your lung has nothing to do with respect, and its rather painful -his eyes closed a bit and he tilted his head a little to the side while looking at her, as if he had already lived such a thing, talking from experience- I have yet to choose a padawan -responded finally resuming its previous calmed expression- I'm afraid Matsu speaks the truth nonetheless. Its not martial prowess what most masters seek, but maturity, knowledge and responsibility, padawans have still a long way to go before learning all the compelling details of lightsaber combat.

Makara speaked nothing else than the truth that most padawans and knights seemed to forget so often, himself included if he didn't recall incorrectly. Thats why Padawans like Traven had the most chances of being picked for training, and why he of all people shouldn't be worried about it, regardless of his prowess with the saber or the force.

Traven was unsure how to insert himself into this conversation. He didnt talk to the other padawans often preferring to train on his own. Lately, he had taken to defending against sensor droids trying to deflect their blasters. He would sometimes watch other padawans do the same exersice watching how they move, how the take into account of multiple shots from different directions and their forms.

His Makashi was not suited to deflecting, but it wasnt a problem until there was multiple shots from multiple directions. Makashi was suited for single opponents. Fighting and defeating an enemy using speed and precision, but it is not a defensive form. Instead of blocks, it uses parries that dont block as much as redirect attacks. The lightsaber is usually held out far from the body and requires much footwork... deflecting blasters is one of the hardest thing for a Makashi user besides fighting multiple opponents.

He focused back in to the current situation at hand. Makara was advising she get medical attention, and he whole heartily agreed. Risks shouldnt be taken with ones health. He wished he was a healer, so he could help her, but he wasnt and so would rather see her healed quickly. Traven looked between the Jedi as the spoke looking and listening to their conversations over what in their mind made a good Jedi prospect. While he didnt totally agree, he didnt see a chance to enter the conversation, Makara seemed to be on top of the game.

Killian's face sneered at the very thought. A sparring match caused the broken ribs? A irresponsible Padawan in the Order must of done so. Usually, Sparring matches were done to test skill, not cause damage as bad as this. What scared Killian was that she sat there, completely unaffected by the blow and damage that had been dealt to her. She must of had an incredible fortitude or else she would be on the ground, screaming her head off. Nevertheless, Killian would not stand idly by as she sat there, tending to her wound.

Usually, Killian was introverted. He barely spoke, barely even said a word, to most people. As it was, he was not talking now. Reaching out with the Force yet again, Killian found the broken rib yet again. This would hurt. He mended the rib slowly, reknitting it as it broke back into its regular spot in her body. It was obvious he was doing it, as his eyes were closed and his face was taunt with stress. She would feel the crack of her bones starting to knit itself, and it would obviously cause some damage.

As he focused, her injury became less painful and soon, she barely felt a thing. Breathing heavily, Killian opened his eyes and looked at her and nodded. He was drained, but okay. Nothing food couldnt entirely fix. He looked at Matsu and noted her injuries as well. Acid? Why would she attempt and do such a thing? His face went taunt with a sneer or unhappiness.

Adonia knew the knight was right, she could not stay like this forever, even if she could take it, plus there was not much you could do with a broken rib except let it heal, which would mean she could not train for a few weeks. “Will you come with me?” Adonia asked Matsu, but she was soon sent back into her seat by a strange pain, something that she was not used to feeling, she doubled over on the table, trying to stay perfectly still. Adonia did not know what was happening; it was if someone was manipulating the rib from the inside. Her breathing was now labored and shallow, She closed her eyes as a single tear rolled down her face. A snap rung out in ear shot, Adonia clinched her fist, there was no hiding her pain, It cracked once again and Adonia opened her mouth to scream but nothing came out, she would need air in her lungs to scream.

The pain began to subside and the redness in her face began to return to her normal complexion, Adonia sat up in her chair digging her hand into her robes and rubbing the skin over her ribs, she caught sight of Killian who was clearly drained, and put two and two together. “You know you could have warned me before you went poking around in their …” Adonia laughed but it was clear she not exactly comfortable at the moment.

Matsu looked up and at Killian as Adonia spoke and she placed a hand on her shoulder as she nodded standing up some and spoke through the force. "Of course i will go to the medical bay with you." With a look Matsu turned to see Traven. "Come now Traven do you not want to talk? We didn't embarrass you did we cause I could make everyone talk about you."

"My apologies. You can't be walking around with a cracked rib like that. Could cause Hemorrhaging." Killian looked at the Jedi around him and started backing away. He had much research to do and was not very well-kept currently. He bowed to them. "I have much work to do. I will see some of you in a class soon." And with that, Killian walked away, closing his eyes as he did so. The healing of the girl brought back terrible memories and he would need some time to himself.

May the force be with you -he said to Killian with a smirk- you're free to abscond -and his eyes fell upon Adonia with a rather stranged expression, but with enough complicity to make it comfortable, like a joke. It was only natural that he felt ashamed and wanted to leave, it was the consequence of crossing someone else's personal space as soon as the opportunity to impress showed up, acting on impulse.

As for him, his first impression was that the rib had finally pierced one of her lungs or another organ, which made him worry a little, nonetheless he understood what was going on and decided to trust in Killian instead of interrupting it. That was something risky and uncalled for, the kind of recklessness any master tries to carve into the mind of his student that he should not do.

Don't press on Traven, he's a smooth talker but he's giving you both some advantage before hogging the spotlight. A true gentleman -said almost hilariously in his defense. Hilarious for himself, who understood the joke.- How is the academy treating you both?

Inquired Makara serenely as he relaxed in his seat- Is masochism a new popular tendency among the initiates? -added jokingly, seeing how everyone so far besides Killik or Traven had sustained at least one serious injury of any sort.

Though the Jedi Temple had many serviceable hangar bays, several more still were closed off to the access of the Order - while some had fallen into a state of disrepair, others held captured and illegal vessels from captured Force Sensitive fugitives. A scant few were unoccupied for visitors, or sealed off entirely.

For those trying to make a quiet entry, there were landing opportunities aplenty. One particular TIE interceptor sat perched atop an abandoned landing pad, the engines still idling. Standing nearby, a hooded and robed figure spoke into a wrist-mounted communicator.

'Keep the ship prepped for take-off. If things go badly we may need to leave pretty quickly.'

Shutting off the comm, the figure wrapped his robes tighter and moved quietly into the temple halls. It wasn't long before the figure had made their way into the more well-maintained halls and chambers,

'Guess I got the dates right after all,' he thought to himself, noting the unusual hum of activity permeating the halls. A lot of unfamiliar faces were here - it was the best possible cover for re-entering the Jedi Temple, though it was still a bold and risky move. Of course, there weren't really many alternatives - the Order had grown lax over the years with security, but for whatever reason these measures had been stepped up. It made the task all the more difficult.

He swept around a corner quietly before ducking through a hall, a pre-emptive sigh of relief suddenly catching in his throat with surprise. He muffled the choked cough as he looked around at what appeared to be a mess hall. Wrong floor, damn it! he thought, silently berating himself for getting lost so easily. It couldn't be helped now...though, if he was on the wrong floor, which one was he on...was he even in the right part of the Temple? Doubt gnawed at him. Not good, he thought quietly, taking a seat nearby what appeared to be a group of Padawans. Until he figured out where he was exactly, he would have to play the charade of the Padawan-less Jedi Knight.
