Introducing Star Wars: Uprising, the first mobile game set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Developed by Kabam, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm, Star Wars: Uprising will follow events set in the Anoat Sector, where Hoth and Cloud City are located, and will allow players to create characters, go on missions, build their gear and skills, and organize crews and factions to participate in wide-ranging battles.

So, it looks like this will be our first post-ROTJ content. Thoughts? Looks interesting to say the very least.

I was totally down for this until I saw it was an app game, which makes me think it will be littered with micro transactions to get said gear fast.

Looks fun. I am actually happy about it begin Mobile because most good games are on Comp and this ones not so yeah! Whoo!

I'm with phil, I don't think I can support what is a game that punishes you for not dropping many hundreds of times more money into it then the cost of purchasing it.

The game is set up to where you can get more gear through money, but it's not that hard to get the gear and progress on your own.

Plus they have to do that. App games like this are F2P so without microtransactions they wouldn't make any money off the game.

I don't usually play mobile games at all, outside of Fallout: Shelter that is, but this one looks promising.

I'm gonna wait until I get my hands on it before shooting out negative assumptions though.

If you preregistraed you get extra gear so that's cool. It looks really fun and I have high hopes.

Nope. You can continue on without having to pay. The microtransactions are for people who want an extra advantage. Not paying does not block you from playing.

Hmm. I don't think Kabam has announced that yet. It's this month, though, yeah.

I'm playing it.
Obviously there are a few issues, a couple of bugs etc - however the actual game is good as is the story.

Premise - excellent.
Pace - good, takes a while to get going


I'm enjoying it, and shall report back once I've played it a bit more. I'm Orn Taa if anyone wants to form a SWRP Cartel.

Also been playing it for a couple days. Im enjoying it.

Has some minor issues that are just inherent of being a mobile game. But not as much of a pay to win than most others are so far.

Edit: my pc is Daesha Ovanu. We should make a SWRP Cartel
