Starting a giant 40k RP group here

So, I was thinking, since there seems to be some love for the grimdark universe of 40k, who all would be interested in grabbing a subsector of the 40k universe, closing it off via warpstorms and RPing out what happens.

I have rules written up for this type of thing elsewhere, and I wouldn't mind running things here, and even have a character made up.

No space marines, 'nids, full inquisitors, or necrons to start.

Yes, they would be. But don't expect huge numbers of them. I have writeups for a planetary system that can be used, and came from a former swerper.

And I'm gonna be the guy who asks, what about Space Marine Scouts? They're still in training, so not as over the top as full marines and often deployed apart from their Chapter, which would help tie in the introductions of Space Marines later, if you wanted to go that route.

If not, it's all good, I have Guardsmen characters too.

Nope, no space marines, yet. I have plans on how they would be introduced and when, though, I just think they need some rp testing out and stuff.

Clothing*: A long black coat, with matching gloves, pants, and boots, all made of sanctified leather. Peritus also wears a hat in the signature fashion of his Ordo, black, wide brimmed and accented with the red seal of the Holy Inquisition.

Armor*: A breastplate of ceramite, painted black and worn under his coat. It is adorned with seals of both the Inquisition and the Ordo Hereticus.

Weapons*: An Inquisitorial power sword, laspistol, and blessed promethium grenades.

Personality and Beliefs*: Peritus, like most within the Inquisition, maintains a serious disposition. Dedicated to his cause, Peritus would execute the immediate family of a convicted heretic if there was any doubt that corruption had spread. As a member of the Ordo Hereticus, he has taken it upon himself to purify the human race, cleansing the taint of the heretic, witch, and mutant. He has little disposition against Xeno races, provided they refrain from interbreeding with humans, or do not impede his goals. He is suspicious at best of all psykers, even those sanctioned by the Inquisition, seeing them as unstable due to risk of Chaotic corruption.

Tiberius, I don't really know what use a navigator would be to a system closed off by warp storms, but sure.

Tau and Orks, yes, 'stealers, no. Chaos and both Eldar are available. I'd love to see someone write up a harlequin actually.

Harlequin's sound tricky to me, but I agree it'd be a sight to see done right.

Personally, I think we could use more xeno/heretic characters to serve as leaders for NPCs to go up against the PCs in combat missions. I'd happily do a few write ups if you'd like me to Srota, or if you had other plans already in motion that's cool too.

That's more than acceptable. I'd love to see some frontlines look at the giant trench war that's happenning in the system. I myself will likely be running two PCs that lead the Imperials and the Dark Eldar (who are not necessarily at odds in the beginning, but you'll see more of that later...)

I'd like to play either:
1. Sister of Battle - Just a baseline Sister.
2. Tau, possibly an escort for a merchant - squad focused if possible.
3. Ork, perhaps aspiring to become Nob or Warboss - lots of burna's and skorcha's.
4. Tzeentch cultist, or perhaps a Thousand Son sorceror whenever CSM are unlocked.
