So, how do people usually get started RPing here? I went over to the "General RP OOC" section and it seemed a bit vacant.

Do most people start threads, join existing ones or PM around for company?

All of the above. It's a bit overwhelming at the start (I almost called it quits) but it helps a lot if you make a few acquaintances. If you have MSN, feel free to hit me up and maybe I can help you out. Or PM/VM me. MSN is better though.

Then why not try making one yourself?

If you're having difficulty getting started, Sylus, dropping an [OPEN] RP in one of the forums or dropping in on an [OPEN] RP is generally a good way to go.

That is a good question. I haven't been here a week yet, but I'm still hesitant about which RP to join etc. You just need to talk to people. Read stories and character profiles, PM people whose writing styles you like and whose characters would mesh well with yours. Get them to take you under their wings!
