Aellyn got the feeling that Kae'leigh was being polite in mentioning for her to find the datachip. She really knew practically next to nothing about slicing, and all the various components that went in to doing it successfully. What she did know, however, was that her friend was good at it, and that she should give her as much credit as possible for their combined success. Besides, it wasn't even their assigned task, more just a potential bonus, if they were able to find what they were sent to, obviously.

Shaking these quick thoughts from her mind, Aellyn took her time searching through each drawer in the desk, what had seemed to complicate the task, was that each drawer had its own section of datapads and chips containing a variety of information. It was going to take time to scan each one with the device she had brought with her. She felt her heart begin to beat just a little bit faster the longer they sat in the office in silence. They certainly didn't have as much time as they would have preferred, and Aellyn didnt know how long the guards Kae'Leigh had used the Force on would be incapacitated, or at least unaware of their presence.

Eventually coming to the third drawer down in the desk, Aellyn found success in her task as she plugged the scanner device into the datachip, which then blinked back at her in affirmative green. "Got it!" Aellyn smiled, turning to her partner sitting in the desk's chair, and staring intently at the computer screen. Not wanting to rush her partner, she added, "I don't know how much time we've got left, but I think we're good for now." The Andaran walked to the front of the office and quietly peered around the windows checking to see if anyone else had arrived while they were working. "The coast is still clear."

Kae'Leigh had divulged herself into her task. She couldn't afford to look away. Each new solution came with another problem and each answer met with another curveball. She continued to plug away into the system until finally everything cleared and became still. She'd done it. She bypassed the security. With a chuckle she found the files and started transferring them to an account she could access later. It would have been safer copying them to a hard drive now, but she hadn't brought one. Plus, if she lost it, then it would be lost forever. Sending it out over the cloud -so to speak- would send a paper trail into the works to find it.

Her partner would move to the door to check their status and give her a notice that they were still clear. But she didn't know for how long. The transfer didn't need to be completed in person, but she also didn't want to leave until she knew it was done. Should something happen with the connection, she'd lose all of it later. It was best to wait it out. In the meantime however, she had a different plan. She began to dig around for personal files looking for one thing in specific: the Sith database.

"I'm almost done. There's just, one thing I want to check first."

The computer would flash picture after picture as Kae'Leigh scrolled as quickly as she could through the different files. She couldn't type in a direct name unfortunately, or this would have been that much easier. Finally, she found what she was looking for. Darth Executioner Ra'Kul. The blue skinned Twi'lek looked exactly like the woman downstairs so the Jedi was sure she had the right person. Her eyes scrolled past the file looking at all the missions (most of which had been redacted for security purposed). But one thing for sure that the girl noticed was the kill list. Her confirmed kills were...astounding. And it didn't help her reputation any more because now Kae'Leigh was three times as afraid of her.

With a gasp she sat back in the chair and called to her friend. "Aellyn...come look at this."

Born on Ryloth, Ii'nara had the perfect life. She was raised in a loving family, had caring friends, and when she grew up she found the most wonderful husband. The two fell in love and had a child together whom they named @Kae'Leigh Tameris . Like her mother, Kae'Leigh showed signs of being Force sensitive. Ii'nara was grateful that the Sith Empire never found them, for she knew her life never would have been the same if she were thrown into service. But as the Sith factions began to split and war broke out, she knew it was only a matter of time.

Knowing that the Empire would soon find them, the two fled into neutral space and landed on Nar Shaddaa with an old friend who agreed to take baby Kae'Leigh and look out for her until they could return. With a loving kiss, she said goodbye to her dearest child with the dream of returning home soon. That dream never came to fruition. Ii'nara was taken prisoner some few months later and sent to learn the ways of the Dark side. Her fear was her greatest weakness and she was broken in no time at all. Fearing her daughter's safety though, she did everything that was asked of her and did not resist her new masters.

In time, Ii'nara became her own Sith Crusader with dreams of becoming a Darth. She took whatever jobs she needed to, killed whoever she had to, all in hopes of raising more power to her name. She even began getting the name of Executioner for her devotion to kills as an assassin. Yet all the while, she had not heard one word of her daughter's capture, and kept her eyes focused on all the new recruits coming and going from the Imperial Republica. Using her charm and her wits, she was able to make friends with the Old Empire as well to do the same; still, no signs of Kae'Leigh ever popped up. Her sacrifice was playing the part of the evil Sith lord, and she would do so for as long as it took to safe her dearest daughter from ever becoming like her.

Although the file was extensive, there was one thing right up in the center that made Kae'Leigh cover her mouth with her hand. Right under the name of her Darth Executioner was her birth name: Ii'nara Tameris. Kae'Leigh was too stunned to speak.

"Darth Executioner Ra'kul....is..."

"Your mother."

The voice from the door was that of the Sith lord assassin. She was standing in the center with her hands on her double saber. KaeLeigh jumped to her feet with her own blade jumping to her hand from...where it came from under her dress. She ignited the beam and a blue light lit up the room. The Sith woman did not even budge. For a moment she stood there, silently looking at the two of them. Then her eyes focused on the blue blade. A small smile came over her lips as she bent down and set her saber on the floor. Then, beyond any logical reasoning. She raised her hands in defense and would step into the room. Kae'Leigh took a defensive stance, still scared this was some ploy to get them to lower their defenses.

Please note, due to NPC rules, all mentions of Darth have been changed to 'Executioner' instead.

Aellyn turned around as Kae’Leigh commented that she had was finishing up, but had something else that needed checking. Internally, Aellyn constrained herself from offering a reply in the negative, and that they really should be leaving as quickly as possible. However, her thoughts overrode any comment, as she pondered that any reason her friend wanted to stay and check was probably worthwhile. She left her position at the door, and walked to behind Kae’Leigh, looking at the computer screen over her shoulder.

While being silently impressed at the speed a which the Twi’lek was able to glide over the keyboard, it became quickly clear that she was trying to access the file on the Sith that they had encountered earlier in the evening. Finding success in mere moments, Aellyn began to scan the information as Kae'Leigh did the same. The results were, troubling, to put it mildly. The amount of confirmed kills was staggering, and left Aellyn in an absence of emotion. Reading further down, more shocking information was contained, which the Andaran, at first believed to be a mistake. She muttered loud enough for her friend to hear, "No.....that can't be possible."

The two were immediately interrupted
and looked up as if they were two children getting caught stealing candy. Except this situation was far worse, as a murderous Sith had just interrupted their attempt at stealing. The familiar feeling of dread crashed into Aellyn as the threat of imminent danger caused her to slowly back away from the desk.

The next few moments seem to pass almost at light speed slow motion, a concept which completely fuddled with Aellyn’s mind. Before she could even look back at her friend from the Sith in the doorway, Kae’Leigh had ignited her lightsaber, and it’s light blue hue lit up the room, dramatically. It complemented her outfit, actually really well, but Aellyn swatted this idea from her head as, ‘getting killed should really be my priority right now,’ she thought to herself. Oddly, as Aellyn’s mind slowly caught up to the situation, it seemed that the Sith had set her weapon down on the floor and was approaching Kae’Leigh with her hands up, a universal sign of non-engagement.

Abruptly, Aellyn stopped moving as her back collided with the plastisteel wall, feeling the metallic cool on her exposed back. She tried to swallow past the large knot that had formed in her throat, feeling guilty for not being more help to her friend in the face of danger.
