An enemy hideout had finally been located. Even though not much about it was known, it provided a perfect opportunity to strike back at the usurpers and remind them who they were dealing with. The hideout in question was located on Ilum and was presumably located in one of the many caves. Nevertheless, it was not to be underestimated. As such a small but promising team had been put together to find the base, investigate it from the outside, then storm and capture it, all while bloodying its walls with the blood of the usurpers and, if possible, capturing the commander of the base.

A team of ten was assembled for the mission. It consisted of two sith crusaders - Damion Corinth and Nox, as well as eight stormtroopers. Corporal Sair Besand was put in charge of the stormtroopers, but was second in command to the two sith. He didn't like that, for he didn't get along well with sith, but he knew he had his two rather trusted privates with him - Jenkins and Greenhorn and another promising private by the name of Alexander Davidson was on the team as well, so the corporal was not too anxious about the sith that were going to accompany him and his small band of coldblooded murderers.

The mission objectives were simple enough to compress in a message and send out to each participant in the mission, so Sair was not surprised when there was nobody waiting for him and the rest of the team in the hangar bay to brief them. Instead there was a shuttle prepared to take them to their destination and then retreat until they called upon it from within the captured and emptied base. Moments after the fully geared corporal stepped onto the shuttle, one by one, all other stormtroopers walked in, all except one - Alexander Davidson and the two sith. Nevertheless, there was still quite some time remaining before the mission was to go off and Siar did not doubt that the last stormtrooper, or the sith, were any less anxious to spill the blood of the usurpers than those who had arrived early.

The time had come, Damion would finally get to participate in a ground mission. A group had been found hiding out on Ilum. They were to storm the base and eliminate everyone with extreme prejudice. Damion slid the armor, which he was barely out of anymore back on and began the process of placing his various blades and sabers on his belt. He finished by throwing the standard black armorweave cloak over his shoulders and drawing the hood up over his mask. He headed in the direction of the shuttle as the mission was to take place soon.

He approached the shuttle and could feel there were a group of lifeforms already on board. He sighed, about typical to be late to the party. He followed the loading ramp into the belly of the shuttle and spotted the ranked soldier geared out prepared for what was to come. He nodded to the man and took his seat near the cockpit. He set his head back and closed his eyes awaiting the other participants. He had heard rumor that Nox would be accompanying them. The thought made him grin, with him alone they could take down these usurpers. He smiled hidden by the mask as he waited for his fellow sith to arrive.

A dark presence grew at the front of the shuttle, sending ripples of chill out through the air like slowly growing waves. The light bent and warped around one spot near the cockpit door, until a dark form appeared there wrapped in a black cloak and bearing a silver mask. The visor was empty, open, but too dark to see into. A hood came up over the rest of the short figure's head, casting the mask mostly into shadow.

It was unlike Nox to be near last to arrive. It was rare that others beat him to a meeting place he had been informed of on time.

"Well met again, Damion Corinth." Nox said, stepping forward as he shed the last vestiges of his powerful deception techniques. The Dark Side whirled around his form, sucking in like a freezing vortex. He offered Damion a hand in a warrior's shake.

Once he was done greeting Damion, the mask turned aside to Sair Besand. It only took a second for Nox to discern the trooper's rank.

"Corporal. Is everything in order?"
