Two weeks stationed on Coruscant. 24 hours guard-duty, on rotation. 72 hours rest. Finally it was time to catch up with things. Jay had a couple ideas. Sort of plans that the ISB would consider well thought, while civilians would be freaked out. Fortunately, nobody could ever guess why he needed a translator. He asked a colleague to go with him.

"We're just buying a protocol droid," Jay said. "I always wanted to have one around, helpful things." The wished 2B-series was one of the most popular machines. It could recognize three million forms of communication, way more than Jay would ever need. "I want to bring it on my ship. The Navy implied I'm getting a corvette. Previous freighter blew up in a mission." He flashed a smirk. "Wasn't my fault though."

The shop took place on lower levels, where crime also lurked frequently. Walking through a corridor Kat could recognize some of the swoop gang members her brother associated.

"Yes, I'm sure," Kat said to Jay as he led her toward some favored market of his. She didn't believe that he just wanted a protocol Droid. Not that she new him specifically well enough to know better, she just didn't necessarily totally trust the smile he was wearing.

"Yes, I'm sure," she said again. She didn't trust this area either. She recognized some of the tattoos on the gangsters in the area and scowled. The last thing she needed right now was to run into someone who knew Ty. He had a bad habit of putting up bounties on her glasses and shoes whenever she went too long without contact, and it had certainly been a while.

Of course, now that she was an Agent of the Empire, there weren't a lot of petty thugs or rats who would mess with her, especially not alone.

A lot of skin resided on Jay's face that made it hard to tell what he was after. Although, he always chased something. Kat could consider if Jay heard of her brother. Maybe he decided to bring her along on purpose, testing her.

"How do you like Coruscant so far?" Jay asked. "If I had to bet I would guess you grew up here." He smiled. "When I got here I didn't have much time to look around. I got Outer Rims experience."

The Swoop Gang from the previous intersection disappeared. Almost simultaneously armored personnel lurked around the nearby corners. "Your friends?"
