Dasi wasn't just in awe anymore, she was overwhelmed. After her mission with Jedi Knight Nykoria Tallis she had returned to Corellia only to learn that the Watchman she had been assigned to was off somewhere else. She had been given simple instructions, sit tight and stay out of trouble. It was kind of hard to follow the stay out of trouble bit. Approaching the planet on a shuttle had been an almost euphoric experience for her. She had never sensed so many people on one planet let alone in one small city. As the shuttle entered the atmosphere the Padawan felt her head spinning trying to keep her mind straight. How could so many people live here? None the less she was impressed.
As the shuttle landed at Coronet City the young Togruta grabbed her pack and slung it. She wasn't dressed like a Jedi today, she was dressed in simple clothing that gave no hint to her profession and would have made her fit in perfectly on her homeworld. If no one was expecting her to be here she was going to be dressed comfortably, not wearing those stupid robes that the Jedi had provided. Her lightsaber was stashed in the pack slung across her shoulder, she didn't anticipate trouble here. This was a fairly well populated planet with actual law enforcement, what kind of trouble could she possibly get in here?
The young Padawan stepped through customs, showing an officer her ID which got her waved through without incident. As she stepped out onto the streets of Coronet City she shuddered as a gust of wind seemed to bypass whatever she was wearing. Somehow despite being nearly afternoon on the world it was still incredibly chilly. She now had regrets on her decision not to wear her robes. They would have fared far better in this kind of weather. She sighed as she pulled her datapad out of her pocket. The sooner she got the address and set off for where she was expected to stay the night the better. She rubbed her hands together to try and extract some warmth as she made her way through the streets. Maybe she should pull her robes out of her pack.
Nearly half an hour later Dasi was entirely sure she was lost. The datapad she was using to help herself navigate the cramped streets of the city had apparently been on low charge because it had given up about five minutes into her walk. She now had her arms crossed rubbing her arms to try and conserve whatever body heat she had left. It was time to ask for help. She still found it hard to try and narrow her focus with so many people around, to many emotions in such a tight space, but she could still "see" in her mind around her. The streets were almost empty, just a small group and someone further down the street. Approaching the group of five people the young Togruta relied on the cold to help her get over her usual shyness. "Hello? I'm sorry to bother you but I'm looking for the Sector Ranger Outpost, would you happen to know how to get there?" The people she had approached, three humans and two Zabrak, stared down the young Padawan before looking at each other and laughing. One of the Zabrak gave a hand signal to the others to shut up before speaking. "Ya know, not entirely sure off of the top of my head. Why don't you step into our little establishment though, we can look it up, you can grab something to drink and warm yourself up before you go on your way." He opened a door and motioned for her to step through. Through the open door she could hear the sounds yelling and fighting? She could also swear she smelled alcohol. A cantina? She hesitated just the tiniest amount. "I'm not entirely sure I should..." As soon as she said that she could feel the warm air flowing through the doorway and settled her mind.
She stepped through the entrance and reveled in the warmth that came. She could definitely smell spilt ale and... vomit? She nearly gagged as that hit her. She changed her mind about the drink. "Nothing to drink though. I should really hurry, I should have checked in a while ago." She looked around in the force as something in the force seemed off. A bar of some sorts alright, but something was off. The force provided her another warning and she shifted to see the Zabrak swinging something at her. She cocked her head to the side and tried to duck but still took a glancing blow that sent her into the wall. Luckily her montrals absorbed most of the impact but she still winced as the back of her skull hit it. She slid to the ground as she reached out her hand in retaliation, sending on of the humans at the back of the group flying through the open door and into the street. Realizing their mistake the group started scrambling to get away. Dasi had no interest in fighting, preferring to nurse her new pounding headache. She reached for her pack, and sat shocked. Her pack was missing.
