When she was first given this assignment, Crystal wasn't exactly pleased. After all, holding peace talks wasn't something she wanted to get her feet wet with, but this was important to do; this world was just a war resource, so they needed to make good on their bargin. Never the less, she was here and with her gear. She could only wonder what assignment her brother got put on, surely it was to be exciting than this one. She and another Mandalorian were in a goverment assigned speeder, being escorted to the Embassy to host these talks. She glanced over towards her partner, unsure as to what his deal was, before sliding her helmet over her head and locking it in place. It was pretty easy to tell not everyone was happy to see them, the moment they had touched down from the shuttle port, the best the populace could muster up was cautious looks and disapproving scowls; then there was that one jackass throwing rotten fruit, but he was dealt with. She felt pretty good about this situation, as they could see the gates of the embassy from here, as well as the planetary security forces holding back some protestors. It looked like their fan club was already here. The speeder touched down behind the walled complex, and the crowd lost their cool, as it seemed they might over take the security force, until a wave of tear gas was deployed, to which they were quickly routed.

By now, Crystal had already stepped off, ignoring the man who was assigned to help her out of the speeder. One of a the diplomats, some middle aged man in a ridiculous suit matched towards the pair, she could only guess he was trying to make a first impression. "Welcome Mandalorians, thank you for honoring us today with your presence, in these uncertain times, we would welcome the banner of Mandalore to stand upon this land, and for us to be called friends, do you not agree?" She already was done with this guy, the fancy words and nonsensical metaphors made it clear he was talking out his ass. She had a job to do however, so sadly, slapping the man and moving on wasn't going to work out. Thankfully the man couldn't see her face, as Crystal was scowling at the gentleman before her. "Honored for you to have us sir, please, lead on." She asked, motioning for her partner to follow. She found it amusing they weren't going to ask for their weapons, but they probably knew that wasn't going to end well for them.

The pair would be escorted into a meeting hall, with another half dozen elderly gentlemen and woman surrounding a round table. Behind them, a large oval shaped window gave a display of the world that laid beyond; an seemingly endless display of machines and refineries that belched smoke and flames high into the sky. Crystal only felt a little bit of sadness creep over her, was this the life for the people here? No rolling hills or clear skies? What was the point of it all? That wasn't for her to decide however, as the talks would soon get underway, once the rest of the diplomats were to join them.

This wasn't the usual kind of op that he was used to during his time serving as part of the Mandalorian Military, and it was also not the kind of tasking he had ever been trained for, but his time contracting had seen him forced to interact with and pine to all manor of people. There was certainly a part of him that hoped these people he was about to meet were not the kind who needed their egos stroked and their fragile self worth carefully looked after, Viladous and his partner on this mission were Mandalorians after all. To make things worse these people had deemed it necessary to escort the pair, as if they couldn't look after themselves. Maybe that wasn't the case, and the protection was not for them... but the citizens of this place.

There was little time to dwell on the reasons things had transpired the way they had thus far and as the speeder came to a halt, Viladous quickly removed himself from its seat and headed towards Crystal. As he moved, he made sure he took in the surroundings, entrances, exits, cameras and any security forces employed around the area. He'd also taken a moment to check for his gear, his blasters holstered securely either side of his legs, an assortment of grenades clipped safely to their fastenings around his belt. Across his body, a number of spare cells for both his pistols and his rifle that sat comfortably slung around the Mandalorians back.

"Welcome Mandalorians, thank you for honouring us today with your presence, in these uncertain times, we would welcome the banner of Mandalore to stand upon this land, and for us to be called friends, do you not agree?" The man who had approached them was far to well dressed, and spoke with a silver tongue. Viladous didn't like it, and as he was about to open his mouth Crystal opened hers. It was glad that she had as the reply coming from him, would of been far less tactful and gracious.

As the man led the pair into the hall, it was clear that there were still a few members they were waiting on. Again, he took a moment to assess the area they were in, taking a seat next to his partner in a position that was close to the exit, but also gave them full view of those entering. Now they waited.

Crystal was growing impatient, as she remained in the seat, tapping her foot, checking the time, she was just wanting to get this over with. She started off staring at the only door in the room, the big fancy one they had been escorted through, but no one was showing up. Then she looked to Viladous, then back to the other diplomats, who were all talking with themselves and giving worried looks at the two Mandalorians. Ugh.

Crystal stood up, getting sick of all this sitting around. She made her way to the window, gazing outside at the scene before her. It reminded her of Corellia, but Corellia at least looked inhabitable, this was just nonsense. After several moments of this, a the main door busted open, as a member of the security stumbled in. Crystal drew her blaster, pointing it towards the man, but soon realized he wasn't going to be much of a threat. The man was bleeding, his armor had been struck at least several different times. "Intruders, the-they're here-" He took three steps into the room collapsed to the floor, dead.

Crystal moved towards the door, holstering her pistol and grabbing the repeater slung across her shoulder. "Vil, cover the diplomats!" She called out, grabbing the barrel of her blaster with her organic left hand, as now that she was at the door, she could hear blaster fire echoing in the distance. Good, this would liven the talks up for sure. She shut one of the large metallic doors and took cover behind it, leaving the other open so she could fire down at anyone dumb enough to come down the hall at them. Taking stock of her ammo, she had two spare cells for her pistol, and another spare cell for her repeater. Not the best layout for walking into a fight, but if needed her vibrosword was still with her, so there was that. They would have to protect the diplomats from whatever idiots were raiding this place, so this mission was as good as done.

Giving away a planet doesn't go without word. It might be just signing papers, but obviously it's not that easy. Especially, since the Imperial Intelligence set foot on Castell they had eyes and ears everywhere. Ranging from diplomats and armed guards to cleaning personnel, even droids. The whole thing was shameful, it shouldn't even have escalated to this point at all.

It looked like they bribed everyone. The guards weren't reluctant to throw teargas among the Empire's sympathizers. Some people called the Empire's methods cruel, but really it's not easy to rule numerous systems without iron grip. Jay believed it was too much to say Sith fry children on the streets.

The protesters outside chanted as one. Jay sat in the back of their second unmarked speeder truck that brought soldiers. Diplomatic resolutions usually failed at this point, so they were the last resort. The vehicles moved slowly above the crowd, choosing less-popular speedways to avoid being noticed.

"You know they understood it's treason," Jay tried to explain politics to his strike team. "We backed every single person here, nobody was blackmailed or anything. It's all their choice to go down this path."

Their pilots brought the trucks closer to the embassy, still trying to remain out of sight until entry plans get made.

"Someone get in touch with the loyalist diplomats. Don't want to hurt our own."

Tomic wanted to sigh but he knew he had been doing that far too much lately so managed to refrain from doing so. Instead he checked his weaponry once again. He was equipped with everything that made up his standard kit, which he knew wasn't very standard for those usually in the Imperial military.

The trucks moved up closer and Tomic decided that they were close enough. A reasonable one hundred meters from the wall, he jumped out of the speeder to take cover behind it. He checked for targets in the windows of the building with his scout HUD, his rifle raised and ready to open fire on anyone spotted.

He was with Jay for this mission which he appreciated but he was going to be hoping it went smoother than some of their other missions - they hadn't all been winners after all. He had some reminders of some of their misadventures in the form on body parts that had needed to be replaced.

Annoying really.

He spoke into the com link inside his helmet.

"Got eyes on the windows - ready to move on in and take the fight to the Mandos when you are."

Crystal pressed herself against the closed door, throwing a quick glance towards her partner, hoping he had done as she asked, moving the diplomats away from the window and against the wall. Her mind starting to think of snipers, or maybe even another squad coming in through the damn window. Maybe if they kept low the table would give them cover in the event of a sniper, but that would be for Vil to figure out, she needed to keep herself by the door. She still had cover from frontal attacks, behind whatever this door was made of, only her head and weapon peaking out down the hall, finger close on the trigger. She could only hope that the security forces would distract the majority of the attackers, whoever they were, but the truth of the matter was they had no clue what the situation outside was.

The window was out of her view anyways, across the way from where she was now in position, but it effectively limited her from moving to the other side of the room without being at risk. She should have tried to blocked the window with the table, why hadn't she thought of that. It didn't matter, that was the past, focus on the now. She turned to face the hall, her repeater ready to spray a wave of fire down at anyone who wanted to come towards them. It wasn't the worst position to be in, the hall was rather contained for the most part, about a fifteen foot stretch from where they had started off from. Straight down the hall was without cover, which would keep attackers needing to hug the several columns that lined the walls; which seemed to be spaced out for two columns per five feet. This was just a fortified position though, they had no clue how many people were coming through here, the truth was they could very well be overrun; not like the planetary security force was of much use.

Viladous had not spoken to Crystal as the man came into the room they'd planned to have these diplomatic talks - He couldn't believe his luck! Now he didn't have to sit around and chat to these upper class toffs. Regardless of his small victory in escaping a long drawn out chat, he did have a job to do and it was a job he planned to see through.

"You." He said, pointing to the head of Security. "Get here now." and although the man seemed to be hurrying over to him, he didn't seem to be moving fast enough. "Hurry up, we are under attack here and I'M going to help you not lose your bloody job." He said, partially joking and partially scolding the man for his lack of urgency.

"Right... This is what WE need boss. You ready?" As he said the word we, he pointed to himself and over to his Mandalorian Comrade. The man didn't reply verbally, simply nodded his head as Viladous began outlining the measures he wanted in place.

"We are under siege, I don't know what the have out there, I don't need to know... What I do need is access to ALL security cameras inside and outside of this facility, I want it direct to mine and Crystals Datapad. What is your lock down procedure? Equally WHY HAVEN'T YOU ACTIVATED IT YET!" Viladous spoke quickly and clearly to the man, his patience with their lack of urgency now wearing thin. "Ye..yes Sir. I will make these arrangements straight away. We will engage the Embassy's blast doors as well as enable the window barricades. We have an internal power source... If they want to get in, they'll have to blast their way in." The head of security's voice grew in confidence and he realised he knew what he was talking about.

Viladous turned on his heel, barking orders to the various members of security forces who who were not shifting their weight. He had seen that Crystal had dealt with the Diplomats saftey and was getting herself ready for what was to come.

Throughout all of this, Viladous was careful not to make himself visible to anyone who may or may not be looking from the outside. A few moments later, a bleep could be heard on his Datapad as it linked itself to the security feeds across the complex. Meanwhile an alarm could be heard, the blast doors shutting over the entrances, exits, windows and sky lights.

For the moment at least, they could walk around freely, continuing their preparations for the defence of this embassy. "Crystal... Search everyone. Any kind of come they have with the outside, I want it destroyed. Anyone who has more Ammo than they need or even weapons they don't need, spread it between me and you - Our survival and the survival of everyone in here... Is on us."

The strike team was well trained, previously deployed and used together in hostile environment. Most of them knew each-other and served under the same Commodore's hands. "Stack up on the wall," Jay ordered his men. "On entry team one takes lead, rolling cover. Team two covering fire, take out the cameras."

Both elements dismounted with their prepared equipment. A BZ-85 Pro Surveillance Drone went above and beyond to spot threats while Jay took the truck's seat. The drone's footage was being transmitted to Tomic's and his own datapad. Jay rigged the vehicle. As it moved forward he quickly jumped out. The truck drove itself through the surrounding wall, then crashed into the building and created an opening.

"Initiate," Jay said calmly.

The strike team pushed through the outer wall with their weapons high. As ordered, they would shoot at anyone they spot, including embassy staff personnel.

The drone went inside first. It illuminated the dust from the crash as it flew forward quickly. Jay actively reviewed the footage.

Cameras being shot outside interrupted the demonstration. Upon hearing the military grade blaster rifles being fired the crowd started to panic. People scattered, fearing they would be harmed.

Tomic had to admit that the defenses activating was expected. Annoying but expected; they couldn't very well bank on their enemies being idiots now could they? Would make it all far too easy and ruin all the fun. Or all the violence... though to a young man of Tomic's skewed views, those two things were hardly mutually exclusive at the best of times.

He was stacked up behind the vehicle as it moved forwards, crashing through the perimeter wall. As it moved forwards though so did he, firing twice to destroy two of the exterior cameras that were within sight. The remaining cameras were destroyed by their trooper escort.

Since this was all planned ahead of time, this wouldn't be very long after their arrival, no more than a couple of seconds to break the outer wall.

Moving up behind the vehicle, using it for cover, Tomic kept his rifle up and at the ready as he continued to scan windows for threats as he moved up behind the armored vehicle. When the vehicle was approaching the main wall of the main building however, Tomic moved away from the back of the vehicle to hug the wall itself to the right for cover instead, now too close to easily be seen by people looking to take shots out the window but also not the first person to try and make a breach behind the vehicle.

Defenders tended to take random shots into smoke upon a breach after all.

The Security Head was nice enough to ramble through the supplies the had on hand, giving Crystal a pair of energy cells from the fallen guard's equipment, though she had no clue what the man had given Vil, she could only assume it wasn't anything spectacular.

"This is Krystal Kyrze, we are inside the Embassy and are under attack. We need evac for the Diplomats ASAP." Crystal was in the had just finished a local distress call on her helmet comm, when she heard an ungodly sound boom through the building. To her, it sounded like the front section of the building had just been hit. That didn't stop her from speaking. "The outside cameras are unresponsive!" The security head cried. It seemed like a pretty obvious attack now, there was no denying it. Crystal couldn't see where they were coming from her current position, but it seemed rather obvious that their attackers were coming one way or another; given there was probably hole now where the wall had been down the hall. She had to give then credit, using a vehicle as a battering ram was damn effective. Now Crystal couldn't afford to drop her guard. She stayed in position, ready to fire down the hall at anyone else, as she'd go with a steady burst, aiming for five shots towards the first thing she would find. "Vil, they're breaching." She called back, keeping her rifle at the ready, knowing that once the opposition showed up it would take the two of them to make this work. She could see a small droid fluttering about at the end of the hall, looking a drone of some sort, as the droid seemed to come around the right side of the hall, probably doing recon for whoever was attacking them. She raised her rifle as the drone fluttered about and squeezed off a burst towards it, striking it once as it fell to the floor.

Outside and inside, the Strike Team soldiers would be beset by the Diplomat's security forces, as they put up a valiant defense against the invaders. It would come down to the Strike Leaders verses the Mandos now. Crystal maintained her position at the metal double doors, body in cover against the closed door, as she slightly leaned out of cover with her rifle, aiming down the hall, ready to fire at whoever might be coming towards them. This was going to get interesting.

Viladous had moved close to Crystal in order to talk about getting coms out to allies. It wasn't a defeatist attitude that the pair had succumbed to by making such a call, but it did protect the wider Mandalorian interests which sometimes had to be bigger than the pride of one or two members. Once Crystal had established a line of communication, Viladous' attention turned to the Security Chief who seemed to have something for him. "Sir, here..." he said, his out stretched hand holding what looked to be a couple of cells for his Blaster Pistols. Thank god for the fact he was still a user older tech, the fact it being so widely produced meaning he could scavenge whatever he wanted from the bodies of those around him.

Just as he was finishing placing the new cells into his kit, he heard an almighty noise, following it the sound of Crystal updating him on the situation. Although the outside camera's had been destroyed, he was able to watch it being done. It gave him a good indication of where they had parked their car as well as a snapshot look of the numbers that were now assaulting the building. Suddenly, the sound of blaster fire erupted from Crystal, her shots aiming to take out a drone of some description. Then... more blaster fire, as a small team attempted to breach the whole in the wall, a factor made all the harder for them as the vehicle left a rubble around the entrance. Anyone wishing to enter would be forced to climb over. Uneven ground and poor footing meant that the security forces within the walls, all though far less trained than the strike team assaulting the embassy were more than a match, and as the battle roared in the hall way Viladous peaked his head around the door that Crystal had eyes down. She was on his left, and the hole was around twenty five meters down to their right.

One after another the Strike members fell, the security forces taking equal casualties in what would have been one of the more decisive engagements in this battle. As the sound of blaster fire fell silent, the groans of the dying could be heard in the hallways. From what Viladous had briefly seen, the vehicle had left behind dust, rubble and debris.

Viladous' mind was ticking over quickly. "One entrance, fairly clear line of sight to the target." he said out loud, so that Crystal could also hear what he was thinking. "I'm going to hammer a frag set to remote detonation into that rubble. There's still too much dust kicking around there for them to see it and a mix of rubble falling as well as those guys out there moaning... they'll be unlikely to notice the sound of it landing." His fingers moving dextrously to sort the frag out as he spoke. He knew his aim didn't have to be perfect, but he would now have control of the choke point with anyone still outside oblivious to the danger they were in by entering the entrance they'd so rudely created. "Cover me."he said quiet enough for Crystal to hear as he moved around the corner, tossing the grenade towards the rubble. That being said, if anyone had been coming in, their less than elegant movements across the rubble would be spotted the moment he ducked out of cover.

As quickly as he darted out, he was back inside... making a conscious effort to assess the area for the split second he was out there. No one, if they were alive to see the grenade being thrown would of been in a fit state to alert anyone or even be considered compos mentis enough to believe. Now was a case of waiting for the next wave of men or women to clamber their way through the hole they had made, Viladous hoping that they had no way of detecting the deadly explosive device now placed in their path.

The breach was loud, the breach was a choke point for sure but at least the breach was made. Thankfully some of the squad knew that keeping the vehicle in the wall was a bad idea and it was reversed back out to keep the breach open wide enough for people to actually begin storming in.

Blaster fire occurred almost immediately but Tomic knew that and had expected it - it was what he would do after all. After waiting a second or two for the initial rush to die down, Tomic leaned out from behind his cover to the side of the hole with his rifle at the ready. As one of the Mandalorians took aim and fired at the drone, Tomic responded in kind with two squeezes of his own trigger, which would send four blasts at the head of the distracted Mandalorian (Algarus) while she was busy firing on a different target.

Once those shots were loosed, Tomic kept his position with his rifle raised at the doorway down the hallway. If the other Mandalorian took a step out to act, he would fire another two trigger pulls (another 4 shots) at the centre of the Mandalorian's chest. It would be near impossible for the first Mandalorian to provide covering fire with any degree of accuracy (if they were uninjured from his first attack) since he still had his rifle trained on their area and if she popped out to provide cover he would fire another two pulls right at her exposed self before she could aim a shot back at him.

If the enemy managed to get some offense in, however, Tomic was ready to move with his activation switch for his jump boots ready to go in a second. But honestly it was all a bit up in the air for now - hallways were hell in a firefight and usually depended on who made a big enough mistake first.

Hopefully not him.

While the Mandalorians fired at the recon droid Jay followed the events via his datapad. He got visual and estimated distance between themselves. "About twenty meters ahead," Jay said. "Bunch of guards-- Wait! Mandalorians too." Jay squinted at the barely open blast door. "It's them. They gathered there!"

The relayed footage cut immediately when they destroyed the drone.

"Kark."

To overcome the fatal funnel Jay reached down and activated his Gripton Boots.
"Two of you," Jay pointed at the second team. "With me! Fire at that window!" Jay took his long rifle into his hands and started climbing the wall, being away from the frag grenade and the standing shootout.

The floor above the current situation seemed to be a good tactical decision.

Before he reached the sealed window it had been shattered. Jay aimed inside with his rifle and briefly examined the room, looking for enemies, traps and cameras. He started controlling his breathing again to keep himself as calm as possible, then suddenly he jumped inside and ran to take cover.

Jay pushed as fast as he could to get into the room above the Mandalorians and the diplomats.

The agent would indeed get his shots off, though by the time had be taken aim on such a hard target and squeezed it off, he might have actually killed her in a perfect world, instead he'd be rewarded with a single headshot; which didn't feel that much better. Seeing the drone go up in smoke, Crystal was in the process of pulling back to her cover when she felt her helmet get struck, causing her to shift back, though more against her will than anything. Reeling back behind the door, she had bitten into her lip, with a strong almost stinging sensation about the side of her right face. Someone just shot her. Pain flashed across her face, the smell of heated metal and burning flesh entering her nostrils. She let her eyes wonder about the large room, noting it's size about 20x20 meters, five meters high. They'd still be able to hold up here, they still had a good defensible position. If she wasn't distract from the pain, she could have taken note of the fleshly made blaster shots on the floor, seeing that the initial blow back from the shot had gotten her back to safety; though she had one hell of a head ache, well worse than a headache really.

She slammed her left shoulder against the door and slide down to the floor down to her left knee, trying to get a grip as her head was spinning, pushing past the pain she felt, as she felt as if someone had dumped liquid carbinite into her helmet. She couldn't see her face, but she was certain to have one hell of a scar from this; assuming she lived. She needed to put her pain aside, focus on the task at hand. Though there was a hell of alot of pain, there would be time to worry over the injury later. She pulled the rifle tight against her chest, pressing it into the breastplate, converting that pain into fury, despite the fact she couldn't feel her face anymore. She had wanted this after all. She gritted her teeth, feeling her teeth ache from the pressure. The adrenaline would keep her in the fight for the time being, then after that the real pain was going to kick in.

She held the rifle at her chest, steadying herself for a moment. She had time to get a grip. She didn't need to rush out there just yet, but she wanted to. Her accuracy was going to be impaired, but didn't need to be accurate. It would certainly made firing easier, point and squeeze, channel all that pain into fighting fury. Having had her little shooting fest, Crystal decided to stay in cover, as the back of her helmet pressed against the cover of the door, slowly forcing herself to her feet. She only needed to give Vil an opening in the hall. That was all they needed. Her weapon was at the ready, as she kept a death grip on the thing, her eyes set on the meeting room before her.

Viladous had been prepping a grenade when it happened. Rounds, hurtling through the door with one of them landing true. Crystal's will to fight was admirable, but making sure that she was safe, was equally as important as making sure the diplomats were safe.

"Stop soldier." he said as he heard another sound. It was the smashing of a window coming from outside. "They are above us" he shouted as he looked across the room. For good measure Viladous, removed a smoke grenade from his belt, pulled the pin and tossed it into the hall. It was a quick throw and there was no way the Sith was going to be able to shoot his hand, or the grenade. The smoke went down the hall towards the Sith, it was non-lethal however.

Smoke filled the hall, it's green colour pushing outwards and upwards making sure that it would obstruct the vision of there enemy for a while. This would stop Crystal from firing, and could tend to themselves medically, but also stop them being fired upon. It would now obscure the next movement that Viladous would make.

His hand reaching around the corner slightlyb once again he gave the frag a toss across the hall (opposite wall from our door). It would land around six meters down the four meter wide hall, in a small pile of rubble that'd stop it in its tracks. Again his hand would come round for all of a split second, making sure that the hand did not appear in the same part of the door twice so if the shooter did wish to hold there aim in the previous location they would be required to test and adjust.

The rubble housing the frag would cover it well, and it would not be easy to see as someone patrolled down the hallway, especially if they were keeping eyes on the doorway. Viladous would be able to detonate it, based on the sound of the footsteps outside, which with the large amount of rubble and stone on the floor would be impossible to mask!

"Move away and to the edges of the hall. If this guy upstairs decides to blow a hole in the roof we will need to be out of his Line of Sight. Take a moment Crystal, sort yourself out. We still have the defenders advantage." he spoke while moving, knowing full well that if anyone entered that door, they were dead from one side or another and the sheer size of the room meant that normal room clearance devices such as flash bangs, would not work. Target acquisition made all the harder, by the fact that the room still housed Diplomats, who were all lined up 20m away from the door at the rooms back wall.

One shot got through and smacked right into the helmet of the Mandalorian he had aimed at - that was a result even if it wasn't a victory on it's own. He always did think it was a bit like hubris to make your armour and have the biggest, most noticable part, be for protecting your head. Felt like tempting fate to Tomic but where was his room to talk he supposed - he'd lost an eye and needed it replaced even with a smaller profile helmet.

With the Mandalorian downed, Tomic dropped his rifle to the ground and switched approach. Any good ally would see to his friend before opening fire after a shot like that - even Tomic would and he was probably a sociopath if he was being honest with himself. Pulling a concussion grenade from his belt and his quickdraw pistol in the other hand, he began to cook the grenade as smoke began to erupt in the hallway.

Thankfully smoke worked both ways, obscuring their vision of him as well so he leaned out from cover and threw the grenade, unknowingly at the same time that Vila threw his frag grenade. With no one able to take any decent shots at him because of the smoke, he was able to really put some distance on his grenade, causing it to sail through the air past Vila's thrown frag grenade to land in the middle of the open doorway, some 25 meters away. This was mainly because the hallway was straight and only 4 meters wide, meaning even with bouncing off a wall it was still going in the right direction, almost being herded by the shape of the hall.

As soon as the grenade left his hand he would open fire down the corridor with his pistol, firing twice and releasing four blaster bolts in a short-delay burst fire pattern to lay down suppressing fire but also to distract from the noise of the grenade landing one second before it's fuse would cause it to explode.

The frag grenade exploding was something Tomic didn't need to care much about as it was too far from him to do damage to him if it was triggered.

With his shots fired however, Tomic would quickly duck fully behind cover again with his pistol still readied in case they rushed him and this exit. He wasn't taking chances on advancing into a killzone though cus that was just nuts.

Viladous Ordo predicted the situation well. While he ordered the diplomats to scatter out Jayscreec retrieved his breaching charge from his tactical backpack and started planting it. Not exactly in the middle above the Mandalorians room, it was one meter away from the center to the right.

When the smoke grenade was thrown below Jay activated his rebreather.
"Prepare for gas," he said via his radio a second before he brought the roof down. The radius of the circle created by the explosion was two meters. Immediately after blowing the hole Jay threw down two of his CorSec knock out gas canisters. They would fill the room held by the two Mandalorians and many diplomats with a special gas that causes weariness, drowsiness, then completely knocks out people who inhale it.

Jayscreec grabbed his rifle and moved around the hole. He kept crouching enough that he would only reveal the barrel of his blaster rifle. As he sighted Viladous Ordo with Crystal Kryze he would shoot one burst at each one of them, aimed at their heads.

As he walked away from the door, used his free hand to swing the thing closed, it was around a quarter of the way closed when a loud bang rattled his cage, the force of the blast swinging the door open with some force, there was some sporadic blaster fire that joined it but nothing that was worrying. "What the heck, throwing random grenades now. These damn Sith Pigs" Viladous thought as he turned around, stepped towards the door and with a hoofing kick, closed it again. A few of the bolts had made it passed the door but were inaccurate in nature and hit a wall dissipating into nothing but a burned patch upon its surface. Although he had been shielded from the shrapnel of the blast, the shock waves had staggered him from a moment, his legs feeling a bit like Jelly.

All of a sudden the assault from above came, as a thirteen foot hole in the ceiling exploded open. Amongst the rubble, the member of the Empire who had been upstairs came falling through the ceiling. They would land on the cold stone floor from the five meter fall, and would have no doubt experienced the brunt of the blast that caused such a large hole. As they hit the floor, their body would collide with the rocks and objects on the ground as well as those still falling. Some of the stones from the blast were chucked towards Viladous, but they were such small fragments that they didn't cause Viladous much issue. The grunts that he had with him sadly seemed to not look much better, one of them with their face split open like and egg, the other lifeless under a pile of rubble.

The Sith, who was now laying motionless on the floor was out for the count. The combination of blast and fall, knocking them unconscious. The level of injuries would need to be assessed, but they wouldn't be getting up quickly, if at all. God knows what a blast that size would do to a person. Never the less, Viladous' rifle swung up, all be it slightly dazed and aimed towards the motionless body of the man. He would walk slowly around the room, so that he could watch both the man on the floor and the door if anyone entered, he was ready for the final battle and whatever came with it. It was quickly approaching.

"Isn't this fun Diplomats. This is what the Empire does, you will be safe with us. Don't worry." For the briefest of moments he glanced over to his fellow Mandalorian. He was concerned for their wellbeing, but he hoped that this would all be over soon.

It was a perfect storm of chaos, as several things seem to just go wrong all at once. Vil seemed to have gotten struck by the grenade that was tossed, and someone just came plummeting into the ceiling right when the lights went out. Her head was throbbing, but the adrenaline was taking some of the edge off, though that didn't do much to help wit the smoke. The two Mandos were almost entirely stuck in darkness, save for some light coming in through the opened door to Crystal's left, and the hole in the roof above, though smoke and dust was now flying about. Crystal kept low and moved forward, her back against the wall as she moved towards a corner by the door just a few few away from her. She stayed low, trying to limit the exposure to the fumes and smoke, though it would soon be futile. The new oncoming of smoke moved towards the open door, slowly making visibility a joke, so Crystal needed to use it while she had it. The seals she had for her armor didn't seem to help with the smoke or fumes, as she could start to feel the noxious fumes getting at her. Vil had fall away from the door after the grenade, his weight carried him forwards, as he was now lined against the wall gripping his head and clearly disoriented. Fortunately he was safe for the time being, between the engulfing smoke and the darkness, he'd be hard to target.

She put her back against the wall and staggered along it, circling around towards the corner just a few feet across from the open door, and dropped behind it, readying her rifle towards the open door which was only about 2.5 meters across from her. The smoke and fumes were stinging at her lungs, and there was hardly any visibility. She'd be damn hard to see for anyone coming in, kneeling down between an alcove of two corners, she set herself up to defend herself if anyone came towards her. She bit into her lip, tasting the fresh blood in her mouth as she waited for a shadow to near her, and if it did she was going to unload into them; after all, if they were to be that close to her, she'd have no problem unloading on them. Staying lower to the floor would help alleviate some of the smoke, as most of it flowed through the door, or into the hole in the ceiling above. With her current position, Crystal had a secure position, fondling her repeater as no one could get the drop on her from her current position, combined with the darkness and the smoke, they could very well just walk past her and not even notice.

After the explosion went off Jay fell down by accident.

"Kark I'm falling Tomic!"

As soon as the floor went out underneath Jay's feet, he prepared himself mentally to immediately move. He had to. Both to avoid debris, and to avoid shots. The people down were probably as surprised as him none the less. Upon reaching the ground Jay rolled forward and avoided shots.

Of course this didn't go without injuries. Jay's knees hurt the most, his arms were covered in bruises.

The fire suppression systems went off that filled the room with gas. Luckily Jay activated his rebreather in time. He was barely able to move, but the fight was not over. With a lot of willpower and adrenaline he overcame the first stage of failure.

Jay reached for both of his knock out gas canisters and activated them. Hoped, it would give him a chance. He rolled them in two directions to fill the entire room with gas. Then he crawled. He crawled behind the debris in cover. With his gripton boots activates he crawled on the walls. Unseen. He crawled to escape this mess in one piece.
