The small light was not enough for her to see more than a vague circle in the ceiling. She preferred to close her eyes in order to think about this for a moment. How quickly it happened. A couple hours earlier, she still was in her ship, on her way back to Almania after a successful negociation with some representatives from a nearby world. Then... pirates. They came, they threatened to blow everything up - and nearly did anyway -, and they captured her. Simple. Obvious. And it worked.
The more she thought about it, the more she suspected someone had a little chat about her discreet mission and that this whole operation was about her. So much for her discreet attempt to go unoticed. Next time, she would bring at least ten times more ships and firepower, if there was a next time. In fact, there were two options now. She would either be sold to her own side, or to the opposite. She wasn't sure which one she preferred. It would be such a blow on her reputation to be 'sold' like some merchandise... She would be alive at the very least.
So... there she was. Handcuffed, in her usual Moff uniform. No weapons, no hidden shield, nothing. The room was flawless and the guards were smart enough not to let her go. She tried already. They carefully brought her water, blasters in hands, ready to end her at any suspicious movement.
Sendrenis slowly rubbed her forehead with her palm. She had to find her way out somehow. Did anyone received her distress signal ? We were in allied space after all. She couldn't remember who was in charge for this sector. Poor security mesures. Intended to be that way, perhaps ? Pointless paranoid thoughts, once more. She burried her face in her hands, impatient and anxious.
The ship itself looked like a large mining barge on which turrets were approximately grafted. The floating garbage it was appeared large enough to have some hangar able to hold several smaller ships at once. Especially since all the mining equipment seemed gone already. Sold or destroyed. Or both. The inside appeared to be cleaned only once a year and most of it's control panels were only functionning when they wanted to. Some doors had been dismantled already, the new occupants were probably annoyed to deal with the capricious commands. Lights were sparse and corridors only made for one person to travel through. Several maintenance passages were more or less accessible, but this nightmarish maze was for the bravest only to use.
