Sunsets, light fades over Courscant, the shining heart of the galaxy. Spectre would be in a rented-out room in Solo Mio, an upscale restaurant in the upper levels of the ecumenopolis planet. It was a brightly lit room with sleek, stylized walls, sleek metal floorings. The VIP area is pretty moderate in size, there would be four tables, Spectre would be sitting at one of the tables alone. He'd have the room all to himself for right now. The door was firmly shut, there was a view of the expanse of Courscant though the windows right on the opposite side of the table Cartel Vigo which it looks better than Nar Shaddaa. Spectre would be looking his watch on his left hand to check the time. The Hutt Cartel Vigo would be wearing a suit, being dapper as usual.

Misst'en'nuruodo had suspected his little... misadventure on Alderaan would wind up with consequences, but Ark's plan to get them offworld had backfired even more than he had anticipated. The bounty Queen Lucille had put on his head was nothing less than substantial. He had to find a way to remove it, and soon.

Fortunately, the entirety of his time on the planet had not been a waste. He had managed to study the queen's circle of friends. There was one who might be able to remove the bounty on his head with the proper assurances: a slicer, code name "Spectre." And so Ten had agreed to meet with this Spectre on Coruscant days prior to the Republic Senate hearing.

Arriving at the restaurant where he was to meet this slicer, the Chiss almost immediately recognized him. "My apologies for arriving late," Ten explained to the man as he took his seat. "Traffic was abysmal. I appreciate you taking my call on such short notice. The situation is... reasonable dire."

Spectre, really detested tardiness, always had, always will. Even as a basadi, and even during his university student he was really keen on trains running on time one-hundred percent of the time, but for the Chiss, Spectre was content that the Chiss showed up, he had a smile on his face as the Chiss apologized and started. "Not a problem, no problem at all" Spectre said with a friendly demeanor, he knows full and well who this guy is. Apparently this guy is wanted along with others, some Jedi, and Ark, and Werner Antilles. The bounties are legal in the Republic, as Alderaan is a core world who blown up a hanger among other things. Although, he is a bit surprised that he would go out of his way to contact Spectre himself. Well, Spectre isn't a savage who chases after bounties, he is a smart, sophisticated slicer, who is known pursing more industrious, intellectual goals. He would hear this Chiss out. "No worries, it happens" he would keep his smile on. "Now, what do I owe the pleasure?" he would ask the Chiss as he would lean back his seat, with his legs crosse, with his hands clasping together, touching the table.

Ten cut straight to the chase. "This matter concerns the recent chain of events on Alderaan. I believe you are familiar? The Queen has attached a bounty to my head." The Chiss arched an eyebrow and studied the man momentarily before proceeding. "I have been told by some reliable sources that a slicer such as yourself might be able to remove such bounties. Would this be within your purview?"

"Ah, I'm familiar." he hummed confidently, a slicer such as him is always aware, he just wanted to go through with the formalities first. "Perhaps. I'm a Vigo, I have quite a bit of sway in the Cartel. But I'm not going to be able to sweet-talk her into removing the bounty." Obviously, blowing up a hanger and the other things would make her beyond livid. Having met the Queen, there is no way he would go to her and just ask her to drop the bounty. They'd have to think a little outside-the-box. Lawson would then stroke his chin, pondering a solution. "Hmmmm, I might be able to arrange for something." he would put his hands back down "How much is it worth to you though? I don't think I can stick my neck out for something as big as this without cost."

Ten let a small smirk slip. Cartel rabble... they were predictable as always. All they cared about was money, which made them easy to manipulate. "But of course. As it happens, I have some powerful friends on Alderaan who could afford your service fee. If that is not enough, information on the Senate proceedings in a few days might pique your interests. You do deal in information, after all."

Spectre was intrigued with his answer, he has some powerful friends, he nodded his head as as he still had legs crossed legs. "I see" he said. "Alright. I think that will do nicely." Spectre would then lean back in his seat. "I'll be able to start pulling some strings to see if I can get the bounty removed. It won't be able to happen instantaneously though, it would most-likely only be able to take effect after the Senate hearing. It's not something I can just hack away either. Failing that, we can find another way." he nodded his head with a stern expression on his face. "That's the best I'm going to be able to do, at least for right now. Is that alright?"

Ten smiled, pleased. "Perfectly," he said pleasantly. "The rumors are true about your work. You do produce results. I will lay low until the Senate hearing concludes. I shall await your contact in the aftermath."

"Sounds good. Glad we are in agreement" He put a confident smile on his. In true buisnessman-like fashion, Spectre with his left hand, offered his hand out for a handshake towards the Chiss while he is still at the table. This was a distraction however from what Spectre would be doing underneath the table with his right hand. Spectre always keeps a collapsible vibrosword on his person, kept on his right hip. He would draw it out underneath the table, a click would be heard as the vibrosword would uncollapse, it's blade fully extended, and in that same motion he would swing his blade which is firmly underneath the table out of sight, aiming to cut the Chiss in half through the waist. By the time the Chiss would hear the click it would be too late. With the way vibroswords work, the blade would be cutting through his unarmored waist like a blade through air. Even if the Chiss didn't take the handshake, there would be no way for him to expect this. The Chiss doesn't know that Spectre has been trying to form a rapport with Queen Lucille. And this bounty was posted by the Queen herself, so it makes perfect sense. Spectre doesn't normally partake in bounty hunting. He didn't make a move to go after any of the people who had bounties posted on him by the Queen, one just came to him. He is a slicer, not a bounty hunter, but he takes advantage when it suits his interests or when an opportunity arises just as it did now; same with the lightsabers he found. He helped killed an Exile for his once, this is no different. As a Cartel Vigo, he is a crimeboss at the end of the day.

Ten went for the handshake, but he was cut before anything could be done. He felt the blood leaking from him, as though he had spilled his drink. There was no real pain. Just cold. But, before the light left him entirely, he managed to get out some last words. Incredulously, he said, "But... it was so artistically done."

...and then he was gone.
