Demand was far higher than supply for his merchandise. Ezra may have been an inventor, but he was still green when it came to running a business. He was beyond stressed in trying to juggle his university course load and also serving as CEO of EZTech. He was pretty sure if things kept taking off like they had been, he would have to drop out of university.

Today, the Thorne made his way over to Metalorn to scope out a new facility to mass produce more EZPhones with all the new features installed. He was also looking to hire employees that would have to pass through rigorous background checks to be a part of EZTech. His snobby attitude bled through into how he served as a boss, but that was common with young CEOs.

He was dressed in a crisp gray suit, hair perfectly styled and an expensive chrono on his wrist. He looked more like his father these days than he would ever admit. A light stubble lined his sharp jawline, and his striking eyes contrasted against the tan skin that was a remnant of his Altaris heritage.

Ezra checked his chrono and made his way over to the building to meet with Darr Kuvas, a Skakoan that currently owned the warehouse. Ezra intended to buy it from him to take over operations. Currently the facility was used to produce other materials that would be liquidated for the value of his purchase. With luck, this meeting would go over smoothly, though rumor had it that Kuvas was a grumpy man.

Only a few weeks had passed since Eight had been strategically placed onto Metalorn. Since its recent inception, EzTech had been the subject of constant ISB attention, who took keen interest in the company due to the origins of its infamous founder. Genius inventions aside, Ezra boasted deep connections to both the Jedi Order and ISC Government, and that made him a target that was entirely too valuable to ignore. The fact that the Thorne was looking to expand his business onto one of the most Industrial planets in the Mid Rim provided the opening they needed.

Taking on the identity of a certain ‘Teric Kalicar’, Eight had managed to maneuver himself into the inner circle of Darr Kuvas - serving the Skakoan and his corporation as a recently-hired economic advisor. ISB had gone to great lengths to forge proper paperwork for his identity - listing the Agent as having originated from somewhere in Hutt Space.

Due to his new position, Teric had been invited to have a seat as the table - sitting beside Darr- for the business negotiations ahead. Unfortunately for everyone involved, ‘Grumpy’ was likely a severe understatement for the business owner. Like many within the TechnoUnion, the man valued his own profits over the working conditions of his own employees - with a long list of abuses reported out of his multitude of warehouses. Even the proposition to part with one such asset was an undertaking that Darr wasn’t pleased about, and only agreed to such negotiations with the intention of selling for a premium.

As expected, Teric was dressed in a crisp, dark-blue suit for the occasion - his hair neatly combed and styled into place. He wore a modest chrono on his left wrist, opting for something less expensive and more befitting his background. His natural Garqi accent was, like during most missions and official business, purposefully masked over.

Upon arrival, Ezra would be led through the entrance by a Protocol droid - guiding the young CEO to the conference room where Darr waited. While Teric greeted the Thorne on his feet, the Skakoan remained seated at the other end of the table - hands knitted together in front of him. While facial expressions were difficult to gauge through the breathing apparatus and bodysuit, the man most certainly didn’t look pleased.

“Mr. Thorne,” The Skakoan said. “Welcome to Metalorn,” The man didn’t bother to introduce himself for sake of being self-explanatory, but instead gestured a hand towards Teric standing beside him. “My assistant, Teric Kalicar.” Teric, in contrast, stepped around the table to extend his hand to the Thorne before returning to his own seat.

“It is my understanding you wish to take over operations here,” He said with a drum of his fingers. “I trust you have bought an offer worth my time.”
