Intergalactic onlookers have condemned the Hutt Clans after their Lorda Nor'baal Desilijic unveiled two K0-10 Defence Stations above the planet of Nal Huttaa, and its moon of Nar Shaddaa this month. Incredibly hard to come by, these sizable defence stations, manufactured by Blackwell Orbital, recently appeared in Hutt Space following the Hutt Mogul's disappearance from the system some weeks ago. Internal reports confirmed that the Hutts claim to have 'won the stations at an auction'.

Questions have been raised by the intergalactic community as to how the Hutt Clans, which are widely known to be a planet-spanning criminal organisation (something the Clans deny) managed to purchase military-grade hardware at 'an auction'. Speaking to the Herald earlier today, Vigo Scor'agge, a representative of the Clans said:

"His most serene excellency, Bimahau Kasii, Oyabun Nor'baal Desilijic, Lord of the Hutt Clans and Protector of the Glorious Jewel, rejects any claims that the Hutt Clan represents a consortium of 'criminal interests'. Nothing about the business undertaken by his imminence is illegal within Hutt Space, nor has it been for generations. In his most undeniable wisdom and foresight, his eminence legally purchased these stations to safeguard and protect his people, and his grace in this matter has been lauded by the masses."

The Herald has been unable to verify the claims of the Hutts' purchases as being 'lauded'. However, the purchases have led to queries being asked about the safety of intergalactic supply chains, with many questioning how these large space stations came to be 'up for auction' in the first place. Despite these queries, however, two now remain in orbit above the Hutt homeworld, with criminologists suggesting this has been done to shore up the new Lordas position over the Hutt core in a move to cement his position.
