Death Disabled cPvP. Open to a couple of Jedi protecting the younglings and Exiles working to thwart the evacuation. I'll close this if it starts getting too busy.

plur2wc.gif

The attack came suddenly. The Jedi Exiles had little in the way of a fleet these days, but what ships the Warlord, known commonly as "The Eternal," could gather were rallied for this surprise attack. The target was the Jedi academy in Telos' polar region. It was a hidden academy, known to few even within the Jedi Order, but somehow the Exiles had found it... and their only goal: slaughter.

Location: Telos Academy (Indoors) [map]

This... This was not good. The Telos Acadmay was, or at least had been, a secret installation, far from the prying eyes of the Exiles. But those days were clearly done. It was folly, Fennex thought, folly and arrogance for them to think this could last. Did Alais study here before she fell? Did Vin? Did any of the other half dozen knights and initiates he had known who had fallen study here? He didn't know. He also didn't know what they were thinking, not packing up and moving on. But it was too late now. Now they had to save what they could before the Exiles took over, and Fennex was now responsible for the most precious cargo of all...

"Come on younglings, git..." Fennex barked at the little crowd of children, herding them down the corridor toward the sub-level (which mirrored the level above it) hangar, "Keep moving."

It was only a twist of fate that had put him here. Fennex was just here to refuel- that was it. Now he was caught up trying to get these kids out and get them somewhere safe. Luckily, he wasn't alone...

Wyck rarely visited the Telosian academy. He knew of it. One did not live within the confines of the Jedi Order for over a century and a half and not learn some of its secrets. But he preferred to teach on Ossus, where the majority of the Order's younglings were sent.

After Devaron, Wyck had known more "secret" Jedi temples would be targeted for attack; but this was on a far larger scale than he could have imagined. He did not know which Warlord was initiating the attack, but he could feel the cold weight of the dark side hovering just beyond the planet's atmosphere. The fact that a Warlord was spearheading this attack was worrisome in and of itself. The Warlords had, for years, remained hidden—some were thought dead—and that they were revealing themselves again did not bode well for the Jedi or the galaxy.

Wyck had come to Telos—bypassing the space battle above—to rescue the Younglings and bring them safely back to Ossus. To aid him in this endeavor, his freighter was parked in the temple's hidden hanger bay. From there, he rushed inside, where he was relieved to see Fenn (@Loco) in the corridor of the sub-level.

"Fen!" he cried as he bounded down the hall on his little legs. "With me, come. A ship I have!"

Vin had never been to Telos, truth be told she hadn't even known that there was a Jedi temple on Telos. She had been just as surprised when she had heard about the plans to attack the temple as the Jedi probably were right now upon witnessing it. She might have turned her back on the Jedi Order, but she hadn't turned her back on her friends, and the principles that her master had taught her.

Her plan had been to stay away from the attack, but then she had realized that exiles had no intention of leaving the children alone, they were probably here for them. It had taken her a great deal of time to realize that the Jedi needed to change, and the exiles needed to be gone to give them that opportunity. She had stayed away from the Jedi for precisely that purpose, to do what she could to help that eventuality in a way she couldn't from within the Order. But if the Jedi were to have a future where they became what she wanted them to then the children had to survive. If they were killed, to worse captured, then it would just create more darkness, and further extend this war. That she could not allow.

So she had tagged along, she seemed to have some level of sway with the exiles now, how that had happened was still beyond her. But maybe killing Alphonse and her association with Alais had something to do with it. Either way, she had found it surprisingly easy to hitch a ride aboard a ship and end up on the planet.

She had slipped away once on the planet, making her way towards the labyrinthine innards of the temple. She wasn't really sure what she would do, or what she could do, but she knew she couldn't stay away. So here she was. But once inside the temple the Force stepped in, guiding her to where she needed to go, giving her gentle nudges every time she reached a stairway, or a turn. But after a point she realized she didn't even need the nudges, because she started sensing something, or rather someone. Two someones actually, and the realization of who they were brought a wide smile to her face.

And it was with that wide grin on her face that she emerged behind Fennex and the younglings, out of one of the passageways opening into the corridor Fen was leading the younglings down. She tried to come to a skidding stop but unable to prevent herself from going crashing into the pile of boxes that lines the opposite wall. Extracting herself as best she could, she stumbled to her feet and could barely see the tiny figure of Fennex behind the children, and Wyck further down the corridor.

Even though she had met Wyck not too long ago, it felt like she was seeing him after ages. And she actually was seeing Fennex after ages. The reunion brought out emotions that she hadn't experienced in a while, pure joy and delight at seeing their faces. Faces she had once trusted, faces she still trusted.

Master Fen, Master Wyck. The grin on her face just got wider, giving her an almost maniacal look that might have actually scared some of the younglings. She took a step forward and stepped on something slimy that had slipped out of one of the boxes she had crashed into, and went crashing to the floor once again. They're coming for the children, she said as she tried to get to her feet, turning back to look over her shoulder, not sure how far behind the other exiles would be, you have to get them out of here.

Abroad her own ship a figure watched a map. A map of a temple. The being knew it's skills called for something. Something that happened to it own self. A secret. And it was kept, even from the exiles. Alone the ship landed in a spaceport close to the temple.

As it rained outside, a black figure with armor marched down a street, alone. That found itself in front of an air duct. A blade sliced the metal vent allowing for an opening into the ducts. Soon lighting flashed as it began to drizzle. That black figure turned blue and she had tentacles too. As her hand shifted to allow her in the vent she wasted no time. As her feet shuffled in the ducts
Shadows was where Wilson felt safe.

Rain drizzled outside, the water pouring down the windows of the temple, making it hard to see what was going on outside. Lightning flashed every once in a while, usually followed by a booming thunder that made the floor shake and the light flicker. Jedi and Exiles clashed within the building, scattered throughout its architecture.

Malthazar was walking down a corridor, trailing about a dozen meters behind Vin. She didn't know much about him other than that he was one of the handful of Exiles following her, but they had run into each other on a few other occasions, and she would probably recognize his face. As usual, he wasn't wearing his helmet, which was something he had decided would be a good idea to do now. Let the Jedi see him, and know who to fear.

He'd seen combat earlier that night on the space station, and was hungering for more. Malthazar was attuned to the Force now after the duel, and his hands itched to once again be wielding the saberstaff.

They were a mission to intercept the younglings, who Malthazar suspected would be trained and recruited as dark siders. He could feel several Force signatures nearby, and upon turning the corner, saw Vin speaking to 2 Jedi, who were surrounded by small figures.

Vin had just finished speaking when the Templar turned the corner and walked up to stop by her side, although she seemed to be on the floor for some reason. He reached his hand out to help her up while he spoke. "The children?" he asked in mock horror. "How dare they go for the children?!"

The hilt of his saberstaff hovered off his belt and found his right hand, where he held it until the need to fight would arise. He was ready to dodge incoming attacks, and he was concentrated enough for his reflexes to match. It was obvious the Jedi would strike first.

Ekaj was only a few years older than the eldest among the younglings and not higher than the tallest. But where they had fear, fear they may of tried to hide but non the less fear. Ekaj had a sense of purpose. standing among them he did not appear any different other than the look on his face, a look that did not show a attempt to hide fear, but one that had none.

For how how could any one be afraid with jedi master Wykc along side them. With Fenn rounding off the Jedi escort it must of been a sight. The knights smaller than the children they where here to protect. Ejaj was happier when another Jedi rushed to join them, but some thing was wrong. Ekaj was sure the Jedi before them was no longer part of the order. Was it a trick? Either way Ekaj was ready his blade hidden under his robes he was wearing to better blend in with the younglings.

Small skirmishes were occurring both outside of the Temple, where most of the action was taking place, and within the main vestibule, where a few Exiles, Anæus included, were trickling in and being met with sabers and even blaster fire. Weaving his way through most of the fighting and avoiding that which was directed toward him, the Exile exited the vestibule and bounded down a flight of stone stairs, thus taking him further down into the Temple’s untouched depths. The sounds of death and battle quieted, replaced by the light murmurs of conversation and shuffles of feet. Sidling against a wall, the Bortrasan slinked his way down the remaining steps and peeked out from behind a corner. In the distance could be seen multiple forms of varying size and height. Obviously, those assembled were Jedi and Exiles both, and as such, any attempt to hide or otherwise observe in secret would have been futile.

Anæus removed himself from the corner and boldly strode down the corridor. He drew closer to the assemblage of men and women alongside a group of younglings, most of which appeared frightened and ready to flee at the drop of a hat. The idea of involving himself in this situation wasn’t an appealing one, but perhaps he could gain information on the archives or artifacts he was after. A brunette slammed into a number of boxes, causing the Exile to smirk in amusement. A fur cloak was draped over his right arm, and it dripped with recently melted snow. Meanwhile, his lightsaber remained in its holster, though he was willing to use it if violence were to erupt. Two Exiles were to his left, while two small Jedi were to his right and front. Anæus’s stance was one of nonchalance, and his tone relaxed despite the circumstances.
“Good-afternoon,” he introduced, nodding to the Knights, Masters, and Apprentices before him.

Finding herself crawling lower and lower into the temple until she could see a bunch of Jedi of many heights from a far. Many appeared to be younger alongside a few older compared to her age. Close to her a big exile. Even closer was a marching a slimer exile. Soon Wilson found her lightsaber igniting revealing a red glow. Quickly, she would slice a hole large enough for her body to slide through, However still wanting to keep her element of surprise she remained in the vent and watched. Soon she found herself moving once again in the vents. This time for the ship the Jedi need to get to.

Artyom had never visited Telos before this week, he never possessed the desire to see the world nor engage with his fellow Jedi at the temple. Every day he drifted further and further away from the organization of the order and the Jedi who operated within it, becoming disenfranchised with all whom he swore to protect. However, recently he felt the desire to reconnect with the order, to draw closer to the ideals he felt indebted to uphold. As the Exiles brought the force of their attack, the Crusader felt it was good he came.

He followed Fennex and and Wyck closely, walking behind the children so that none would straggle behind in their evacuation. While they moved, Artyom soon experienced a short rollercoaster of emotions. An Exile, clearly, arrived, but spoke as though to warn them from their enemy. Nearly immediately afterward, a pair of Exiles emerged, ready for a fight and ready to stop the Jedi. For most, this situation would seem overwhelming, but not to Artyom.

And at the sight of one of the Exiles that arrived, the crusader could not help but allow a great grin to spread across his face. Looking Malthazar directly in the eyes, Artyom withdrew the hilts of his sabers and remarked, "Hello there, it seems we meet again. Tell me, how's your arm?"

Moving forward through the small group of children, carefully of course, he spoke to his companions, "I can help hold them off, you can get the kids out of here, Fen." It was not even a question in Artyom's mind. Of course Knight Zeerda would be able to get the children out safely, and they would get every child. It was simply a matter of keeping the Exiles at bay, especially considering they did not yet block their exit.

He was here, she was certain. Evalyn was chasing Kal across the galaxy. Hunting for the exiled Jedi Master. She bounced from world to world and lead to lead. She was so close. Evalyn needed to see him. Cregan’s memories had shown Kal was not so far gone. Had she been wrong to dismiss him to the Darkness? Could she still save him? She had to know. She had to ask him. Evalyn’s search drew her to Telos by pure coincidence. She arrived shortly before the assault began. The connection she long felt with Kal had diminished, but that bond was unmistakable. He was on Telos. Evalyn just did not know where.

She wanted to search for him. She planned to search for him, to put a stop to this madness. A communication stopper her. SHe was alerted that the hidden Academy was vulnerable. The Exiles would take or kill the children. Evalyn didn’t know Fen and Wyck were already there, she simply responded. She was torn, but duty came before whatever she would find in Kal. The younglings had to be protected. She had raced to the academy. Rain soaked the Jedi Master by the time she entered the secret structure. Her hair was plastered to her face. Evalyn could sense conflict rising and falling. She reached in the Force, feeling four deeply familiar presences. Fen, Wyck, Artyom, Vin. Evalyn scowled. Vin had lead her new little friends to the Academy. She locked onto Fen in the Force. Evalyn rushed into the Academy, sprinting through the halls.

She let the Force roar through her body. She hid none of her strength. If they wanted her, they could come and get her. Evalyn's mind was searching for anyone that might interrupt her run. Intent could be so obvious. She kept her eyes scanning back and forth. Evalyn eventually appeared behind the group of Jedi and Exiles. She assumed anyone with Vin was a Darksider. She was about 15 meters behind the Force users. She could see Fen, Wyck, and Artyom through Vin’s pals. Evalyn was a torrent in the Force. She outstripped even the strength of Master Wyck. She looked right at the girl she once knew so well. Vin! Evalyn was not interested in whatever silly Exiles Vin had brought with her. She wanted the girl. @Malon @Loco @Wit

"I never thought I'd be glad to see your crusty green rear!" Fennex called out as Wyck entered the central rotunda from the corridor leading to the northwest hangar. Fen shooed the children along, "Get on with it you whelps, you heard Master Wyck. To the hangar!"

And then company came. Fennex's saber crackled to life as he leapt to place himself between the huddle of younglings and whoever had just come crashing into the stack of ration crates. With Artyom and Ekaj in tow, and now Wyck backing them up, the Jedi would muster a formidable defense. They would not fall easily. Not to this exi... "Vin?" the knight started in bewilderment at the sight of the clumsy girl showing up out of nowhere and stating the obvious, "I... you... I thought you died?"

And then things got weird. Vin was followed by a dark, broody looking Exile (he was practically dripping in edginess) who ignored the fact that Vin just rushed in to warn the Jedi, and offered a hand to help her up. Artyom seemed to know this guy, and he was clearly looking for a fight. Fen was about to give him one, but a third exile who wouldn't look out of place in an Alderanian nobles court nonchalantly walked up and bid them all good afternoon. Fennex could only look on in stunned disbelief, wondering if the Exile was just that confident or just that... odd. Finally, Master Dan'ela came bursting out of nowhere behind the motley collection of dark Jedi and called out Vin's name with a thundering echo.

"Uggh..." Fennex sighed. This was all too much for him to process right now. All he wanted to do was get this fight over with so he could get these younglings to safety and have a stiff drink or something. Fennex noticed the edgy Exile's lightsaber hovering off of his belt- a silly show off move. The exile clearly watched too many holodramas. Fennex reached out quickly with the force to interfere with the Exiles telekinetic hold on the saberstaff, activating the blades and hitting it with enough energy to spin it wildly in place. The exile would have to defend himself from his own weapon, and Fen was sure Artyom could take it from there.

"Run." Fennex called over his shoulder to the younglings and Ekaj as he began to slowly back away from Vin and the noble looking Exile, unsure of them both. His sabers were still held defensively in front of him, ready to fend off.... whatever.

Telos, eh? Sounds fun, and it provides a golden opportunity.

These were the thoughts The Doctor had in mind when the call to arms came from the warlords (good to see they finally stopped skulking around in the shadows). Telos was one of the Jedi's secret academies that ere a well kept secret during the war, for one simple reason: Younglings. If the Exiles knew where the younglings were hiding, then the hundred year darkness might well have gone in their favor, younglings equaled more Dark Jedi, more Dark Jedi equaled more power, and vice versa. She didn't really care about the younglings though, she cared more about what lay inside the Academy's archival section. She was willing to bet that this temple was linked to the archive on Ossus, if she could find a way to crack the system, then she would be able to erase all electronic traces of her old self, a great boon when avoiding Jedi.

She had boarded her own ship, intending to slink through the battle and quietly get what she needed to do over and done with before leaving. Instead, to her dismay, that didn't happen, because as soon as she landed and entered the temple, she just had to walk into a shitstorm. As she stalked the corridors, her armor scaring any hapless bystanders, she felt a familiar presence nearby. It was Mal, surrounded by a few others that she didn't quite recognize...except one.

"Wyck...kriff"

Immediately, The Doctor turned heel and ran toward the nearest corridor, letting the Force guide her as she sought out her friend. As she rounded the corner, her eyes fell upon Mal, Wyck, Fennex, Vin, and the rest. This was certainly not a good situation, her side was outnumbered by a few and it looked like reinforcements kept showing up. Normally, she would have moved past this conflict, but she knew Malthazar wouldn't forgive her if she did. Reluctantly, she strolled around the corner, drawing her vibrosword and moving to Malthazar's side. "What've you gotten into now?" She asked, for once sounding more than a little irritated.

A part of Vin knew she should act a little more sombre at Fen's mention of her presumed death, after all she knew what the implications of that were. She might see herself as a Jedi, an agent of good trying to change the exiles from within, but to the Jedi Order she was nothing but another exile. That was the price she would have to pay for the greater good. But despite all that nothing could damped her mood at seeing her friends again, and for now she was very much the goofy little girl Fen had turned into his personal means of transport all those years ago.

What is bread may never rye. She replied to Fen (@Loco) as she rose to her feet, oblivious to Malthazar's offered hand as the smile on her face grew wider. It's a long story, she continued, only now noticing the other exiles who had show had shown up, a tiny bit of concern starting to break into her voice, looks like she had failed in her grand plan to warn Fen before the exiles showed up, maybe for another day.

She had instinctively started walking forward, towards her friends, leaving the other exiles behind her, but was brought up short when a whirlwind of a presence showed up behind them, Evalyn!

She hadn't seen the bulleted Jedi in ages, but something about her encounters with Alais made it feel like it had been even longer. So many of her memories as a young Jedi were accompanied by both Alais and Evelyn, and meeting Alais on her own had left an Evalyn shaped hole in Vin's heart. So much so that she couldn't control herself and exploded. Before any of the gather Jedi and exiles could even react to Evalyn's presence, Vin had launched herself towards her, clawing through the gathered exiles, tossing them this way and that as she ran with blinding speed and slammed into Evalyn with the force of a typhoon (@Valen Pelora), and engulfing her in a bear hug. It would have taken her but the blink of an eye to cut the distance to her friend, such was her growing power, but as always she had left a wave of chaos in her wake. In her rush to reach Evalyn she had bodily tossed Malthazar (@The Matt) onto to the newly arrived exile woman (@TheBrokenMadMan), sending the two of them into the mouth of the corridor she had emerged from moments earlier, while the weirdly dressed one (@Hugh Capet) had gotten thrown further down the corridor and slammed into one of the Jedi (@Black Noise) waiting there.

Oblivious to the pile of bodies she had left behind her, she pulled her head back from the hug she was giving Evalyn and smiled at her. You changed your hair! She disengaged further to get a better look at her, and gave her a toothy grin as a single tear ran down from one of her eyes. The distance she had put between them and everyone else meant that Evelyn would be the only one able to see that or even hear what Vin was saying, which probably was for the best.

I changed too, got myself a new outfit, what do you think? She'd do a little twirl to give Evalyn a better look at her clothes, acting as if they were just two girlfiriends having fun and not caught on two sides of a crazy conflict.

Malthazar sensed a familiar presence within the temple, one that reeked of the light side. What Jedi did he know well? A few names spun through his head, and then he realized.

"Artyom." The man (@Black Noise) stepped into the corridor, his cape billowing behind him, that ridiculous helmet on his head. "Am I to seek revenge for my poor departed arm?" he asked, a condescending smirk on his face. "I find that this one is certainly an upgrade. Look, it glows!" His prosthetic arm shifted colors from the icy blue it had been to a deep, crimson red.

His lightsaber flew from his belt, but ignited prematurely. Luckily for him, it was already close to his hand as the blade began spinning, and he plucked it out of the air before it could do any real damage. Still, it got a bit close to his shoulders, singing a few of his white hairs. Before Malthazar could leap into action, what seemed like a Jedi Master (@Valen Pelora) burst in, yelling after Vin (@Wit). Vin, a look of pure elation on her face, ran forward. In her hurry, she shoved the Templar toward the Doctor, the woman's strength surprising him.

Malthazar landed right on to the Doctor (@TheBrokenMadMan) after flying for a few meters, slamming into her and causing both of them to skid further into the empty corridor they had come from. His knees and elbows aching, Malthazar stood as fast as he could, and helped his friend up. "Doctor, this is a chance as good as any," he murmured as he raised himself up, only loud enough for her to hear. The two had been separated from the fray, a miracle that would not happen again. "We are at a severe disadvantage," he added, thinking about the two Jedi Masters.

Whether or not she followed, Malthazar broke into a sprint. The two were far enough that engaging on to them would mean crossing the entire room, passing by every Jedi and Exile in the process, and somehow stopping them in their tracks, a feat that could have certainly been done, but likely wouldn't, considering that 1. Artyom was busy with an Exile that had just been (literally) thrown at him, and 2. Vin was currently reuniting with several Jedi.

Malthazar would keep running, the Force enhancing his senses so he may anticipate an attack, until he reached the staircase, which was a few dozen meters away. He was ready to parry or block any incoming attacks, but ultimately he just wanted to go home. He'd done his duty up on the Station, and he was not yet on par with the Jedi Masters in attendance.

He would have loved a rematch against Artyom, but not in these circumstances.

/Exit unless interrupted

Ekaj looked around as more and more Exiles and even Jedi came out of every nook and cranny. Still it was not he worry but this temple really needed better security. Still at least the exiles where providing there own distraction. Looking at the younglings around him, the youngest barley old enough to tie there own shoes yet alone fight he did what he was told. Withdraw, of course that meant going back the way they came since it was the only route that looked clear. "Move, now back the way we came" Still Ekaj could not shake the feeling that this was not the way to the hanger and the waiting ship.

As the kids moved, the older ones helping the younger of them Ekaj still did not drawn his lightsaber. They where far enough away that he could get to it fast enough in the event of attack and his cover was not broken. Though Ekaj knew if the two masters with him where defeated he stood little chance, he was still ready to fight and if need be, join the cosmic force.

Wyck was experiencing somewhat of a sensory overload. There were too many people arriving and leaving at once—some familiar faces and some who were... not so familiar. Whatever the case, his commitment was to the Younglings. He needed to get them out before the battle could reach the lower levels. But before he could leap into action or even greet the sudden appearance of Vin (@Wit), he sensed it...

Wyck's tiny hand immediately went to his heart as if a sudden pain had exploded there. His facial expression flickered with distress and, with his other hand, he braced himself against the nearby wall until the pain subsided. Somewhere up above, Nora (@GABA Ren) had died. The dark stain suggested an Exile was to fault. Another familiar presence... Kal (@Phoenix)...

"Go quickly, we must," Wyck urged Fen, unable to wipe the sudden wave of sorrow he felt from his ancient face. "Already killing, they are. Not safe are these young ones." He saw at least one of the Exiles fleeing the corridor. He shouted to Vin and Evalyn (@Valen Pelora). "Let them go! To safety we must bring the Younglings. Worry about them later, we can!"

Bursting into action with a speed that defied his age, Wyck began to sheppard the young children down the hall towards his ship. With Fen (@Loco) covering their escape, he could at least get them out of harm's way before the killing started. Or so he hoped...

The appearance of the Jedi Mistress, as Anæus preferred to refer to female Jedi proficient in the Force, wasn’t something he’d expected. The sudden rush of air and energy sent him flying, though he only felt pain when slamming into the body of another Jedi he’d only recently noticed. For a fraction of a second, the two were flying through the air, the Exile’s legs being swept above him and almost being bent backward. Then, there was an immediate fiery pang in his right shoulder as he fell to the ground and partially slid along the smooth marble flooring of the corridor. Thankfully, he was stopped by the Jedi, who’d also ceased moving. Though the thought had crossed his mind to help the other man up, Anæus figured his personal problems were more worthwhile in dealing with, and thus left the Jedi to stand of his own volition.

The Bortrasan dusted off his all-black outfit and checked his shoes for scuffs and marks. His flight and slide were so complete, however, that the worst damage incurred was dust on his pants leg. The injured shoulder was able to move, fortunately, and a few rotations proved sufficient to remove whatever irritation would have plagued Anæus otherwise. As he set himself in order, however, the sight of two women (@Wit @Valen Pelora), one a brunette and the other a blonde, served to anger him, to a degree. The temerity of the blonde was astounding, as she’d utilized her Force powers in a very needless way, causing everyone some amount of bother, save the brunette she was fawning over. All so that they might meet and compare outfits. Still, the impudent Mistress clearly had power, and as such being irate with her would likely cause the Exile’s death. He picked up his cloak which, in his flight, had been cast out and away from him.

Anæus approached the duo, intent on an introduction, but was momentarily interrupted by the shouts and exclamations of some of the other Jedi (@Loco @Malon). As they went on their merry way with the Younglings in tow, he once again made an attempt, all the while hoping the two wouldn’t immediately run off or, worse yet, engage in battle. Although, given their mutually friendly dispositions, the Exile doubted such a possibility would occur. Nevertheless, he bowed low before returning to a standing posture, saying,
“Good-afternoon, Mistress Dan’ela, Miss Vin. I take it the two of you are well-acquainted?” In truth, he only knew of them by reputation alone, as he’d never met either woman personally. Besides, if Anæus had dared to meet this Jedi Mistress, he’d likely have died before he’d have even laid eyes on her. As such, he regarded the blonde with caution, lest she killed him on a whim. He’d no doubt that the power she wielded would allow for such a show of despotism.

The Exile violently slamming into Artyom surprised the younger jedi, he did not even have the time to react before he felt himself swept off his feet and sent to his back. Instinctively, he prepared for an attack by the Exile thrown at him, but none came. Instead, as Artyom laid on the floor, lightsabers still in his hands, the Exile simply stood up and started to walk away.

As the Exile brushed himself off, Artyom stood as well and refrained from attacking, the sight of the calm man in the storm of emotions swirling about the room shocking him more than anything else. As the Exile moved to pick up his cloak, Artyom observed Mathalzaar taking his leave of the situation, a wise decision. If the Exiles weren’t attacking, their own pride and strange behavior taking precident over their mission, then Artyom would not stop them.

He moved towards Wyck, Fennex, and the fleeing children, his lightsabers now ignited and held at the ready if any Exile changed their mind and sought to engage him. He was not so bloodthirsty as to try and start violence when others lives were on the line, Artyom would see to it that the children escaped. His eyes on the Exiles, Artyom moved to position his body between the Exiles and Fen, Wyck, and the children that followed those two. All the while slowly, backing up, following the group.

Evalyn had not expected to see Vin. The young girl was supposed to be in the clutches of Alais. She sensed nothing but the same old Vin. There was no Darkness clinging to the young girl, none of the telltale signs of corruption. She was no different. That didn’t mean Evalyn trusted her. Not with everything that had happened. She couldn’t afford to trust anyone, not even Vin. Evalyn was already filled with the Force. She bristled with the power of the Lightside. The Jedi Master was about 10 meters from the little group.

When Vin charged towards her Evalyn simply reacted. She reached out in the Force, shoving Vin backwards. There was no room for pleasantries. She knew Kal was here and if the former Master lurked the halls, Alais could not be far behind. She would deal with Vin, but the Exiles came first. One of the little frightened Exile children was already running away. She would have no more of that. Evalyn wrapped the Force around the persnickety looking Exile following after Vin (@Hugh Capet). At the same time, she wrapped the Force around the remaining fallen Exile (@TheBrokenMadMan). She poured her energy into working the Force. She flicked her wrists, bringing them a little into the hall, and then flicked again. Evalyn slammed the Exiles into the walls of the hallways as hard as she could in the Force.

Her singular goal was to knock them out so that she could speak with Vin alone. She wanted nothing else. Evalyn didn't care much what happened after they were unconscious. If her attack succeeded the Exiles would be lumps on the floor about 6 meters from the Jedi Master. She would carefully watch them. Of course, her eyes were locked on all of them while she acted. Evalyn used the Force as only a true Master could. There were few Force users in the galaxy with that power. “Where is she.” Vin would know exactly who she was talking about. @Wit

Well, this is proving a bit anti-climactic, Fennex thought as he kept backing up. Master Dan'ela had truly been on a rampage lately, and her power showed it. Fennex hadn't seen anything like her since... well, since Illum he supposed, fighting alongside the full council, the grandmaster, and many long dead Jedi Masters. He'd never come close to their mastery of the Force, and had seen them do wondrous and terrible things with it. He could never, in his current state, dream of swatting aside so many enemies with so little effort as she did. Without her here, Fennex had been confident that he and Artyom, and even Ekaj could fend off the enemies they faced, but it would be a battle. Wyck joining them had made him even more confident, but Evalyn... Her appearance had made this battle clearly one-sided. It seemed the brooding and dramatic Exile he'd taken a strike had had agreed with this assessment, and run off.

"Get the younglings to the hangar Ekaj (@Andrewza), and spin up the engines on Master Wyck's ship." Fenenx commanded the young Jedi, "Art (@Black Noise), stay with them. I'll back up Master Dan'ela. We'll be right behind you."

He stopped his backwards shuffle down the corridor toward the hangar, his sabers still ready. He was watching to see what moves, if any, the exiles tried to make against the terrifying Jedi Master before them, but he didn't expect much. She'd even sent Vin flying backwards without hardly the slightest flash of surprise on her face, before launching straight into questions- and Fennex knew straight off who those questions were about. Did Evalyn know Vin was alive? Did Wyck? For all he knew she'd been killed on Devaron with everyone else. Why did no one tell him anything? Psshh, no respect.
