UNCOMPLETED THREADS

Thread 1: Primula meets with the contracting company that will be building everything for her.
Thread 2: Primula oversees the building of the wall. While there protesterors arrive and she has to talk them down.
Thread 3: Primula oversees building of the shield generator. When problems arise she has to travel to Anex and negotiate for some of their blueprints on shield generator development.
Thread 4: Primula oversees the building of the hanger. While there the pilots raise concerns and issues and want a renewed contact and she haggles with them over the contract as well as difuses the situation between the pilots and engineers.
Thread 5: Primula oversees the building of the anti air turrets. While there the planets sensors pick up pirates on their way to her estate and she has her fighters scrambled and directs them in combat. One of the freighters land and thankfully davikis there to help along with Grim.

To get my senator some basic ways of protecting herself.

Hey there, @anzat17.

I will admit, minor mistakes were made given how you've handled these submissions, which left staff a little confused on what you were doing. After some review, I understand now you had submitted the first half of your plot for review, only to submit it as completed two days later (before it was even approved), which I will add is a big no-no. You then submitted the second half, while the first was still not approved yet, which made us believe you were trying to do two character plots at once. Hence why you were asked to merge your plots into one faction submission.

Understand? Not that it matters much. I'm flexible with plots, but I just wanted to clarify with you to insure this does not happen again. Or else (ominous, ooh scary, I know). Regardless, your completed submission will be disregarded in favor of this merged one. So begins an actual evaluation! At last.

Nine threads to improve the defense of your Senator's estate and resources? That's basically a Character plot, but given these resources can also act as defenses for Tanaab, that can be ignored. Either way, a lore write-up for your estate with the included defenses must be submitted and approved before this plot is completed. I bolded that because that needs to be mentioned in detail.

In addition, how many fighters will she have at her disposable? What kind? Links will be needed.

Sorry for the confusion, and also for not doing this the correct way (didn't know honestly) but won't happen again, I learn from my mistakes:)

Will work on the lore part. Might need some help with that as I have never done a lore write up before. Also will provide links and such for the fighters. Sorry again for any inconvenience or confusion i may have caused doing this backasswards lol


Edit- Also, I thought I would be allowed to submit those as a retroactive plot, which was why I put it in completed already. Can I get a little bit of clarity on that please? How should I go about retroactively getting threads approved for plots?

Further edit- Would this be site lore or character lore?

Pardon the late response, my activity has been spotty as of late.

The required write-up is site lore. Location. You can take other articles like this or that as inspiration. No need to follow in their exact footsteps, just something to get a general idea out of, as long as you include the defenses.

And yes, retroactive plots are fine. Although I'm not quite getting what you're asking here.

The plot system rules clearly state that you "may not begin your plot until you have the green light to start." However, we have been extremely lenient in these cases because we trust members that they understand the risks and how plots work. When you both complete and submit a plot for credits before being given the green light? It begins a precedence we probably shouldn't encourage, especially if your plot is rejected or forced to make amends despite having been submitted as finished.

I believe "retroactive" around here is starting a plot before approval, not finishing it.

To avoid problems like these, you could simply avoid the above. Or you can consult or alert a member of the plot team on what you're doing. I think what you did is necessarily wrong, it's how you did it. I'm sure exceptions can be made, just at least speak with someone beforehand.

If you're asking why your two plots are being combined as one? It just makes it easier for us and better for you. Not only because we can review and evaluate less, but you don't have to wait as long. Plus, two 5-thread plots grant you less overall credits than one 10-thread plot, given how we calculate thread count.

ANYWAY,

Loving the edits. Mind just including how many fighters you plan to take? I'm sure it's only fluff but I'd like to know for safe measure. Or you can just include that in the lore write-up. Doesn't matter to me!

Alright that was a misconception on my part about the retroactive plots, I do apologize for that. I think before I start these plots I may just want to discuss with you on discord before hand? If you're alright with that of course, just so I can ask you questions about the plot before I do the writeup and avoid this sort of thing in the future :)

And alright I'll have the lore done up probably by this weekend I'm thinking :)

And yes I'll include that here cause yes clarity is good :p

And yeah, discord would be much preferred. I respond a lot more often there than I do here, given I don't visit the site via mobile and I'm always on the go.

Anyway, just be sure to get that write-up done and its defenses included! I suppose the fighters you wish to take don't necessarily matter as long as the number is included somewhere in the lore article. Saying that...
