The morning light broke through the cursed wood's sporadic cover, poking annoyingly in the purebloods face until she stirred. Images of captivity flashed through her mind as it was the second time she awoke in a strange place in such a short space of time. Cyu felt the effects of the strong drugs coursing through her veins even as it slowly eased its way from her system, it would still beguile and disorient.

Nearby, she spotted the otherwise charming Ciri laying unconscious, at least for the moment. The sight only frustrated and annoyed, the stupid antics caused by Ciri and the other had cost them both the fight and their ship. With her mastery of the force, she could reach out and grasp a large stone by its waist and raise it high above the stupid witch. Only to watch it tumble and fall, turning her head into a pool.

But there were two problems with this marvellous idea, perhaps three. Firstly, the drugs still caused their effect and thus the task set impossible. Second, she still had no freaking idea where they were, but perhaps they would figure a way off. Thirdly, a quick and painless death was far too kind, no, she would need to think on this one for some time before making a move worthy of it.

For now, she waited.

When Ciri's foggy mind somehow regained consciousness, the first thing she noticed where sound. Annoying sounds of buzzing insects flying past, avian creatures twitching, cooing and crowing in the near surroundings. It was an awful harmony of sounds she simply didn't want to hear right now, but as some memories of the most recent events started playing in her head, she was more alarmed than annoyed.

The heavy lids slowly fluttered open and through the narrowed pupils, still shying away from the bright daylight, she gained some clarity on how they were truly somewhat in the open. A trick, her dazed mind thought, but it mattered little as she knew she had to focus on regaining the feelings in her limbs first.

Calling onto the Force was still relatively impossible, but after a while the pale, thin silhouette suddenly stirred. It began in the fingertips, but after many torturing moments the Dathomirian slowly turned on her back. Her senses were all terribly dulled and her mind nothing but a blurry haze, but as she stared at the canopy above, she was already scowling.

Where was she and why? She slowly formed two fists as she deliberately dug her nails into her palms. She didn't feel the pain, even as the first drops or blood began tainting the earthy soil and this just annoyed her further. A soft growl escaped her as she gathered the strength to sit up, but it wasn't within the next few moments that she managed.

As if the Sith wasn't already in a bad mood, as her blurry gaze drifted across something reddish, she just waited for her eyes to focus before she received confirmation on how she wasn't even alone - there was still a hanger-on. "Kich..". Chirikyât was mad beyond believe, but the rage that usually fueled her couldn't even surface. She lacked the strength to even sit properly, so finally ending the red lady was not even within her capabilities.

Also, Ciri knew it was unwise to pursue such thoughts in general as regardless of where they were, in her state, she knew she was maybe even somewhat dependent on her, however now that her gaze was finally sharpening, the relatively motionless pureblood looked just as bad as she felt. "Zizi yu kûdzocho uk?" She asked her in her own native tongue, however wondering whether the amateur even understood.

It didn't take force sense to know that the feeling was mutual between the pair. Lost in the middle of nowhere, with zero supplies and sense of direction, it was entirely possible that they died out here. It was one thing to be willing to work together towards a common goal, and entirely another to be forced to do so. Having woken up first, Cyu was mildly more awake than the other, not that it would give her a real advantage if things went south. Glaring at the question, the pureblood stood up with a little struggle and determination.

The voracious wind loomed through the canopy above them, hiding light and direction. "Can you?" she replied in her mother tongue with a hint of venom. It was very clear by now that they would have to work together to some extent, but it was equally likely that if one delayed the other too much, that they could simply be abandoned to their untimely fate.

Cyu was much more accustomed to the elements than she let on, given how much the desert back home would swing between ghastly heat in the day, and miserable cold in the night. But without supplies, they could only circle for so long. It was therefore imperative that they find something, or someone, to escape this damn world.

If the stupid blonde, who was clearly responsible for putting them in this mess in the first place, shut up for a moment, Cyu could concentrate and listen. The rustling of leaves blended in with the creaking of branches, swish and swaying in the warm breeze. The little light that forced it's way through at least told them it was daylight hours. This was a good start, as it would increase the likelihood of running into someone and reduce the chances of running into something worse.

"We need to find high ground or a river." She said matter-of-factly. Either option would be beneficial, but not entirely easily done from their position. Although as soon as the words left her mouth, Cyu stopped to consider whether the other woman could swim.

Dizzy and disoriented, the Dathomirian took a look around. Were they stranded on a forest planet? A moon? Perhaps even an Imperial planet and this was just a twisted game? She hated everything. Them, the pureblood, this planet already, but hate always ran through her veins. Sometimes it seemed to be the very essence that kept her going.

Her head spun, but she slowly continued pushing herself upwards, her head dropping from the drugs and her gaze involuntarily directed at the dirt. How frustrating, how shameful. The pureblood replied, sticking to Ur-Kittât which, in Ciri's eyes, raised her terrible reputation at least a tiny bit.

The 'we' left an incredible bitter taste in her mouth though. They were no allies. Ciri had no allies. Still, she knew that working together would get them further. She swallowed the bile and the yellow gaze drifted from the ground back up to her. "Ubumuwiy", she answered, even if it wasn't that obvious.

Every presence around seemed fuzzy, but she used the internal rage to speed up the process of detoxification as soon as she got the slightest grasp on the Force. "Water...civilization", she didn't like the idea of climbing up somewhere, especially because water didn't well from hills and she wondered where that stupid idea came from, but they had to settle on some kind of an agreement to work together right now.

It costed her quite some strength, but in the end the slender ashen haired witch stood on shaky knees. The sun wouldn't tell them a lot about where to go - on her home planet, the sun and stars had told her everything- but here any direction could do it. "There", she asked, raising a hand to their left, right to where the thicket seemed thinner, hoping it would lead them somewhere useful.

Cyutadakyr said nothing as to her initial response, holding back a strong desire to simply glare and throw metaphorical and perhaps literal daggers. The wavy lines blurring her vision and polluting their connection to the force were slowly withdrawing, continuously aided by an attempt to detoxify, but even then it would take more time.

At the very least, it was obvious they couldn't stay where they were in the middle of nowhere with no way out but to carve a path themselves. It would have been trivial at full strength, or with the plasma bladed lightsabers to cut a path out of the dense brush, instead it fell to brute force and determination. The downside was the thicket and brush were thick and healthy, often meaning by virtue of pushing through, the branches would fling back into the person behind....

A long diabolical hour passed before Ciri's promised thinner path seemed to pay dividends as a flood of light burst through the brush. Without warning, the forest vanished, revealing a clearing above a large rock face with a vast view of the distance before them. Ciri was right about water being sparse upon a hill, perhaps by scaling down the rock face they might find some, or perhaps something else of use.

"Can you see anything?" Cyu scornfully held a hand over her brow to block the oppressive sunlight. It was the first time they could gather any context about where they were, as opposed to simply blindly wandering.

While before Chirikyât had never held any ill will against forests per se (quite the contrary, the lone wolf usually prefered being alone in the wild, hunting prey for alchemical experiments or other means of sorcery), today she hated every centimeter of it.

It was quite a struggle for their weakened selves and every step seemed cumbersome and agonizingly slow, but after what felt like an eternity, they did end up in some kind of an opening. The crimson - ashen duo had walked in relative silence, which had probably been the best solution as either one had otherwise ended up without a tongue at some point, but now that their surroundings were changing, Ciri had to realize a conversation was probably necessary now.

"We should descend. We have a good overview here, but we need water". Ciri's main argument still stood. They had to get down. "We'll search for natural water, follow it downstream". It would lead into a lake, the sea or whatever. Civilization couldn't be far then.

Regardless of her reply, she did close in on the edge of the stoney ledge and looked for the next level. Without hesitation, she then squatted and slowly began sliding down the steep, rocky surface until she reached another more even spot. There, she closed her eyes for a moment and just listened.

"Water...it's there". Those were good news for sure. She could definitely hear it. It was still quite some distance away, but once down, maybe they'd still manage to bring some kilometers behind them today. The Dathomirian couldn't wait to get off this terrible, empty place and find a way to actually release that inner rage.

The wondrous vantage that the clearing provided was both stunning and daunting. In one breath, it revealed a vast expanse of territory that they undoubtably had to cross in their quest to locate civilisation. It was entirely possible that the trek was one which they never returned, lost in the wilderness and forgotten by years end.

The pureblood watched as the confidence radiated sharply off the witch, her icy words etching demands of the pair to descend. Oh, so very true that statement would ring as Cyutadakyr silently edged closer still, behind her. "Very good," with venom dripping harshly, she whispered at the discovery before suddenly pushing her fellow Sith from the ledge.

By all accounts it was a terrible height and the withering crushing depths below provided not comfort nor salvation. Whistling through the air, hurtling towards certain doom, bequeathed a certain sense of delight upon the pureblood as she watched from above. Who could fault the mistress of torture for enjoying such thoughts that must surely have been cycling through the devious vixen caught unaware, moments before the solid floor met the side of her face and rewarded it with kinetic energy.

Her revenge final and served cold.

"Water...it's there" the words stung through the masquerade, bringing her mind back to the boring reality once more. As much as she would enjoy playing out such a fantasy, it would have to wait until they were at least clearly going to make it back. "Go ahead, but I'm not fuckin' climbing down that shit." Not that she wouldn't put it past Ciri to pull a stunt herself, but Cyu had never had any good things happen trying to climb walls, and starting from a height just seemed to tempt bad luck.

"I'll find another way down, by myself, if I have to." Surely there would be a path of some kind down towards the water, she hoped.

While Ciri was quite an expert in traveling through difficult terrain, today it felt like she had never set a foot in the outsides before. Every step was gruesome, but what was so much worse was that she still felt dizzy. She did manage the first jump, but would she manage all the other ones to come?

She waited for the pureblood but after there was nothing for a while, she looked up with an annoyed sigh. She was about to ask whether she had lost her wit too now, but suddenly there was a reply. She couldn't believe that the crimson plague now feared the climb, too, so for a moment she hesitated.

So she had water now...or so she thought as she wasn't there yet and thus couldn't even be sure, but one problem remained. Her head was still spinning and she could feel it was hard to stay in control of the Force, so if only there were a crimson, walking bag of energy she could easily absorb (given that the little minx was still deprived of her full potential, too...).

"Make this first jump. There's a path along the ledge which descends". If she didn't, she'd just continue along the path herself as she wasn't in the mood for any discussions, but maybe it was a compromise that fitted the Dathomirian, too. Jumping was risky in her state, so if they followed the natural path, they'd have a route that was less steep for sure.

Regardless of whether she followed, Chirikyât approached the meter-wide stoney path and carefully continued following. She was aware the other was not to be trusted, but doubted that killing the Dathomirian would serve her any more than meaningless revenge. Ciri still made extra sure she was as far away from the abyss as she could as she didn't want to take any chances and simply hoped the stupid path brought her down any time soon.

The pureblood grit her teeth as Ciri watched, likely mocking her hesitancy internally. Cyu was by no means a coward, nor was she not usually confident in her own ability, and yet tempting fate had always been something of a die roll it seemed. Glancing down the treacherous ledge, she scanned the nearby area for alternative paths down, but found none that didn't look just as dangerous. "Fine." She uttered back with contempt.

In a funny kind of way it may have been the most direct path, although one slip, and it would certainly be so. It wasn't something that the pureblood would do alone either, if Cyu fell, so would her pretty companion.

Curiously approaching, she watched the other move first and thus testing the path with her own weight first. Jumping down onto the ledge, Cyu followed, carefully mindful of the fatal plunge just behind them. It continued for some time and despite the wind nipping at the pair, they still managed to make good time along the narrow path without much incident.

Of course, this meant she looked even worse in front of Ciri, but the pureblood bit her tongue so long as the other did as well. With any luck they'd make it down in one piece and begin searching for this damn river which would hopefully help them find a path home.

While Chirikyât absolutely wasn't thrilled about her crimson, demonic shadow, she stayed vigilant while she pretended to be pretty unbothered by the pure blood that followed. Without any more veiled jabs or open aggressions, the hateful duo did finally reach the valley mainly unscathed.

Ciri was slightly glad about having made the decent, but the absence of water still annoyed her. Her throat was already dry and the sedatives still wearing her down a lot, so with what remained of her energy she reached out and expanded her senses. "This way" she growled as she started moving again after at least having found what she was looking for.

The Dathomirian was a bit more stable on her two feet, but walking was still exhausting, so that when a little creek did finally come into sight, she sped up a little. Relief was an emotion unbeknownst to her, but she couldn't deny the seemingly endless weight on her shoulders today seemed to fade for a moment.

When the two finally reached the water, Ciri scanned for fishes, but as little shadows moved under the surface, she did squatt down and used her hands to shovel a load into her mouth. The cold, fresh water seemed to lift the heavy spirits a little, but as she glanced back up into the sky, she realized that it was much later than expected.

"We can continue to walk. But eventually we need a shelter". She absolutely wasn't thrilled about how their forest adventure would probably continue for another while, but if they onLy followed the creek downstream, they'd stumble upon civilization at some point, she still assumed.

It seemed like luck had finally turned for the pureblood as they managed to trek down the dangerous track without issue. A stony grave was not on the agenda today, and the pair vaunted off in search of this phantom placed water. Whether it was a combination of luck or skill, Ciri led them along just fine and eventually encountering said water. With a slight hint of shock, Cyu mused.

Her own strength was slowly returning, the drugs having been in their system for some time now. But she expected neither were at full strength yet. Encountering a wild beast or a hostile person would be a risky endeavour, but they hardly had time to sit and ponder their circumstances. With each passing minute, another chance to escape disappeared forever.

Cyu likewise drew on some of the fresh water, its cool and natural taste granting some refreshment in spite of their predicament. Glancing at their surroundings as the other spoke, even she nodded. There might only be a few hours of light yet in the sky, and if the night turned while they were in the open? It could prove to be a fatal mistake.

This time, the pureblood took point and continued along the river bank, occasionally looking through its surface underneath. The long line of trees stretched as far as the eye could see and if not for the river to mark their footprints, it may have felt like they were going in circles.

Suddenly, a rough grey shape came into view in between a clump of trees. The large rocky outcrop was unmistakably natural in origin and would provide sufficient base for an overnight shelter. Pointing ahead, Cyu spoke for the first time in a while. "We can camp there tonight." The solid rock branched out from the ground and through the trees, creating a small separation in the forest. It wouldn't protect them from the rain, but at the very least it would reduce the chill hitting them in the night.

If they were fortunate, perhaps Ciri's attempts to locate food would prove fruitful while the pureblood attended to the shelter itself. Attempting to make something of a makeshift tent, she snaped and gathered sharp branches to use as ribs, wedging them between the rock and ground. Then hastily weaving leaves and other natural ingredients, while not watertight, it would keep most of the weather away while they got what little sleep they could.

After the quick refreshment of the little creek, the pureblood started taking the lead. It allowed Ciri to recover some more as she could easily watch the crimson devil while allowing her mind to settle. The drugs were slowly leaving her system and soon the steps didn't feel as horribly as before, but the problems of shelter and food still remained.

If the Dathomirian hadn't been so tired already, she might have simply skipped looking for a shelter and just continued the walk, but as they both needed to recover, she figured it was wise to rest, so when Cyutadakyr brought up the outcrop, she nodded. "Better than nothing". As they had stayed close to the river, they were fine in terms of hydration, but Chirikyât's pals body craved nutrition for strength.

"I'll hunt". She was normally a skilled Huntress, but without any weapons and the sedatives she had to rely on whatever strength she could muster in her state, which did annoy her still, but she immediately turned and ventured deeper into the forest, away from the river for now.

Funnily enough, after no more than a minute of walking, Ciri stopped right where she was, considering whether her mind was playing a trick on her. In front her very eyes was a camp, nestled in a rather secluded corner of the forest but completely desolate. The tents were well furnished, the laps currently opened so as if someone had left in a hurry and she could make out various kinds of food.

She stepped into it, her head slightly tilted to the side before she also spied a few traces of blood. She continued walking through the camp, following the trace of blood a little further until she stumbled upon relatively fresh remains of four humans who had obviously died from blood loss. Just a few meters further there was an also relatively fresh feline like carcass and so Ciri was relatively sure she see through the murder mystery party here.

There tragedy was their chance and so a random smile tugged at her lips. Judging from the traces and paw prints, there had been quite a struggle, but it had only been one predator cat and four of them with no winners on either side.

She considered simply staying here, but lastly figured that as a little sing of her good will (at least for as long as they were stuck here and because the other was close anyway) she did walk back. "Come", she curtly said before she turned once again and walked Cyu back into their new found camp.

After a tremendous amount of effort and ingenuity, Cyu was starting to get the hang of putting the shelter together. Piece by piece she laid, starting to see it take shape and rather proud of the makeshift building when Ciri disturbed the peace once more.

A boiling rage held under her breath as she realised that the woman wouldn't have come back for no reason, Ciri's pride wouldn't allow for that, she mused. Reluctantly, Cyu opted to follow, branch in hand. It wasn't even that far from a trek before the pureblood spotted what had previously captivated her companion. "How could you kill them.." she started, indignant and with annoyance in her voice. "Without me?"

Moving forward, she then spotted the wild beast, causing her to turn back to Ciri with a smirk. "How unlucky for them, and how very lucky for us." It seemed a little odd that they had all gotten the bested by the animal given how well-equipped they were, but then again they were attempting to survive in its natural habitat. And well, clearly doing well in that regard.

Slinking over toward where she could spy food, the pureblood picked up and opened a bag of dried protein and a bottle of water. Taking a few bites to relieve the hunger pangs that were starting to be a little too noticeable now, given she couldn't even remember the last time she ate. The proper shelter took her mind of the business she had attempted to do near the rock, but it didn't put Ciri back in her good books either.

They'd hardly had a chance to speak thus far and the pureblood didn't expect Ciri to be overly chatty either, but Cyu didn't care. She wanted answers, and only she could speak for it.

With an annoyed tone, she started. "What the fuck happened back there. You and whatever his name start a fight and leave me hanging? We could have all been killed over it, I hope you realise." Happy days.

Cyutadakyr followed without asking twice and the Dathomirian began to realize she was a damn fool, too. She left the question unanswered and waited for her to discover the scene before she went for a bag of food. They'd have to eat or hide whatever they found or else they'd attract new predators.

Even if her strength slowly came back, she desperately wanted some rest, however the situation slowly changed. The pureblood chose to break the silence again and Ciri wondered whether she was suicidal, too. No. The crimson skinned Champion was in no position to demand such answers and so her fate seemed sealed.

Ciri didn't say a single word. Her features froze and she stared at her icyly, the striking yellow of her eyes intensifying. The temperatures in the immediately surroundings dropped and the eerie, pin-drop silence that followed was haunting. "Because the horned jerk was an idiot", she hissed coldly, while not a split second later Cyutadakyr would find the whole extent of Ciri's slowly returned power grasping her by the throat.

Gone was the idea of staying on the down low and trying to use the crimson pest as additional protection and in came the same intensity that usually ruled the Witch's feelings. "Are you one, too, Cyutadakyr?". As surprisingly as her attack came, Chirikyât assumed there was no way the pureblood would have seen it coming and so she was hoping to have the woman right where she wanted her to be: Aware of that Ciri was the deciding factor of death and life in this situation. She intended to apply enough pressure to make her squirm, yet not enough to squeeze the life right out of her.

As if the food was bad enough, but seemingly the hazardous planet suddenly became number three on the list of reasons Cyu hated the damn witch. Caught somewhat unaware in her devious snare, the pureblood welted under the immense pressure building at her throat. Ciri was clearly the more powerful of the two, was that borne of her blood rites and ties to the sisterhood or the dying wish of another life? Who could tell.

The spheres of life and death lingered and twirled, locked in an eternal ballet of doom. Each breath she took slowed, suffering under the subjugating malice being inflicted upon her rigid body. A cascading effect shimmered down her body as even with her attempt to defend herself against the attack might provide some relief, the impending crucible of death awaited.

"No." Squeezed between her vocal cords came the errie and recklessly confident response to her pending query. As if her own thoughts inspired the events to transcribe themselves into the very plain of existence, Ciri would shortly find herself not as in control of the situation as she might have hoped. From an uncomfortable vantage point, Cyu just barely caught the flicker of a shadow, just briefly before a tremendously deep growl burst out from behind the witch.

Crashing through the dense forest came a fearsome predator to first swipe at Ciri, no doubt having smelled the bountiful feast torn to shreds and having become startled by their presence. The distraction, in turn, potentially breaking the witches concentration and freeing the pureblood from her predicament, or perhaps making it worse. In any case, Cyu clutched the wooden stick she held in case the beast approached her in turn.

It would seem fate derived much pleasure from interrupting the pair's quarrels.

The Witch had the pureblood right where she wanted. Restraint, slightly afraid or at least aware of how she wasn't the one in control and how demanding such answers was nothing such a lowly Sith could do to her. Did she believe her when she said she wasn't an idiot? Not fully, but she was at least both humiliated and intimidated enough so that Ciri's point had been made. She wouldn't take such disrespectful manners from anyone.

She was about to pose another question, however not yet considering to let her go. The problem was though, that the Dathomirian was still not at full capacity and so her full focus laid on compressing the pureblood's windpipe that she didn't sense the incoming predator in time.

The result was that as the beast suddenly came crashing in, Ciri's focus broke at once, so that Cyu was set free while the Witch was more enraged than ever. A massive bear-like monster had apperently smelt the fresh blood as well and so the two Sith weren't alone anymore.

Fuming, Ciri knew she now had to focus on the bear, even if she knew she risked gaining a backlash from the other woman. The bear though was totally feral and about to harm her first, so what Ciri did was to jump out of the way first in the very last second before she channeled her pure rage.

The bear was a lethal problem and as they had no time to think as it was about to pounce again, Ciri fired a violent force lightning right in its direction, knowing it would hurt the bear enough to prevent it from swiping at her again. The bear roared loudly as the pain engulfed it while Ciri strongly felt the strain the attack caused. She let out a roar of herself as she was hoping for the monster to relent quickly, her yellow eyes flicked over to Cyu for a moment though.

The sudden and inevitable betrayal shocked Cyutadakyr to the core - how dare the witch release her then and there, right in the middle of where things were beginning to get fun. The bear was nothing but a distraction, in the pureblood's eyes, a convenient excuse, all so that Ciri didn't have to admit defeat.

She stood quietly, scratching at her tender throat, which had just a moment ago been under an intense applied pressure. For all her horn tooting, Cyu would admit that Ciri was a powerful Sith, talented even, but she was a long shot from her favourite plaything.

The witch for her part managed to avoid the first blow before retaliating in kind. The bear let out a ferocious howl as the lightning licked at its face and body, singeing fur and cursing flesh. Undeterred, it charged forward yet again before raising up onto its hind legs in an attempt to crush the Sith from above.

Cyu watched, with an annoyed look on her face, catching a glimpse of those eyes staring back at her for a moment. A part of her hoped the bear did maul the bitch, perhaps then she'd have an ounce of understanding of what she herself had gone through, something Ciri had somehow managed to avoid....

On second thought, they were still trapped in the middle of nowhere, and finding a way out alone would probably drive her more insane than she already was. Let alone the fact that if anyone deserved the chance to beat on the other woman, it was the pureblood herself.

So naturally, the pureblood did nothing.

Even if the bear was weakened, the ferocious beast was far from stopping right there. With fierce determination glistening in her gaze, Ciri let out a roar as the last bolts of electricity, a sheer culmination of dark energy slammed into it. It pounced again, attempting to crush her by standing up, but this time it was slower, which allowed Ciri too dodge its impact.

Yellow eyes flicked to Cyu who was not only minding her own business but watching with great interest. Just you wait, the Witch thought as she used the pain she had already inflicted on the bear to creep deeper into the wild bear's mind. The beast was roaring, angry and in pain, with her full focus now on the bear, it suddenly stopped approaching her.

Terrible agony wrecked the creature further as Ciri tormented it from the inside. The predator eyes suddenly appeared much more distant as the bear huffed and suddenly turned to face Cyu. A faint smirk tugged at her lips while exhaustion prodded at her mind, but she wasn't done yet - through the Force and their now intertwined spirits, she commanded the bear to attack Cyu instead and it started by picking up speed quickly as it furiously approached the crimson devil.

Just when Cyu thought that she'd get to enjoy a big grumpy bear pummel the self-righteous witch into Tuesday, it suddenly all changed. Now the wild beasts target at the beckoning of Ciri, Cyu loudly groaned. "Oh come on..."

A lightsaber would have made short work of the bear, a probing thought in the back of her mind as she clutched the closest thing to a weapon that she was aware of - a sharpened branch. Ciri had already shown that a force attack wouldn't be enough to take it down, at least not without risking taking a beating herself.

Instead, the pureblood sized up the incoming freight train of muscle and fur, steadying herself and bracing the heavy branch against the ground whilst locking eyes with it. With utmost confidence in the improbable, the bear charged her down, only to not notice the impending danger until it was too late.

With a thump, the bear had run straight into the pointy end which had managed to slip between a pair of ribs and in one instant, slay the beast with a blow to the heart. A loud Sith cuss word exhaled from the pureblood's lips as the intensity of the moment finally caught up with her, gingerly stepping back from the mounted creature.

Now, having a proper moment to glare at Ciri, Cyu realised this arrangement wouldn't work if they kept trying to kill each other. "Truce? At least until we're off this stupid rock." She offered while catching her breath, hoping the other would accept.
