It was no surprise that Koedi almost instantly got a message from the one named Serie Fond once he killed his former master Raith. It was like the high ranking Sith around had spies everywhere. Surely someone had seen what went down between the two Sith and told Lady Fond that her apprentice was no more.

Koedi was now standing in the Master's quarters on Korriban. He knelt in front of the immense power that the woman held. He would surely be the next in line to learn in her lineage of knowledge.

Serie had veen eonfering ehy her apprentice hadnt shown up in the past few days. The realization finally coming when she fecuded to reach out in the force to feel for him and not being able to semse him anywhere, no matter how hard she concentrated. The only conclusion being that he was dead. And in his place she had sensed the one known as koedi. The Sith she had tested oncr, and who had failed that test. The fact that he had killed her former apprentice however did mean he was improving, and that he had earned the opportunity of being her apprentice.

To that end, she was going to do her best to make sure he was worthy of it. So she had brought her assassin droid to the chamber for a sparing match. While it was just a droid, it was still an assassin droid, and was quite capable of fighting even knights of the Jedi order, while not able to win in a straight up fight, the droid fought quite differently than anything he had likely encountered yet, and that was its main advantage.

She stood next to the droid and got ready to address her new apprentice. She was dressed as she normally did in more recent times, the long red glowing dress accumulating her curves and her lightsaber in her hip.

So then, Koedi Se'Roc, you managed to kill your former master and in doing so, have taken his place as my apprentice. That's not something to be taken lightly you understand? I have a reputation to uphold you know? Can't have my reputation as a instructor be tarnished. Maybe my selection process needs to be more refined?

She said looking at him and then to her assassin droid. If he chose to accept he would be be fighting the droid in rather short order. She looked back at him and awaited to see how he would respond.

Se'Roc did not look up toward his new master as he spoke.

"With all do respect, Master, it is just Se'Roc. Koedi is the name of a weakling. I will not associate with such a name."

Se'Roc rose slowly and looked toward his master. She was clad in a rather provocative dress. She either always dressed this way, or was trying to get a reaction out of her new, young, apprentice. Tempting though it was, there was a more dire situation at hand. The droid that stood beside her looked like a typical pleasure droid that could be found in just about any low-life dive in the galaxy. Se'Roc knew that it was unlikely that this droid was simply only a pleasure droid. He returned his attention to that of his master.

"Your reputation will not be tarnished at my expense. That is a fact. Rest easy that I am not the same zabrak that failed you a few years ago. I am ready to learn, fight, and bond by your side. That is a promise."

"Master - is this another ill-mannered suitor like your last one?"

The voice was robotic in nature and devoid of most emotion, naturally, as it was a robot. It did, however, still manage to convey a fondness for it's Master in it's vaguely feminine tone.

"Honestly Master, you could do so much better than the Cartel scum..." the voice continued before it's owner, the droid known as Night, stepped into the room equipped with a pistol at her waist and a vibrosword across her back, "Though I would hesitate to call this creature an improvement..."

Night walked across the room in a manner that would easily be referred to as "slinking" rather than walking. The droid came to a stop beside Serie, looking at the apprentice.

"Master... am I to play with this creature?"

Serie smiled at her droid. The thing had been quite a joy to have around, and while this would be her first time getting to watch her in action first hand, she knew the droid was incredibly dangerous from how easily or dealt with the bounty hunter pursuing her.

That didn't stop her from rolling her eyes however at the droids comment. The droid, for whatever reason, had developed a bit of a man hating personality, and while it didn't bother her, she did find it rather humorous. How droids got their personalities she might never know, but she found this one to be one of the more interesting ones she had encountered.

Yes Night, it's playtime. Just don't do any real, lasting damage if you could please. If you break your toys you can't play with them again you know?

Very well then, Se'Roc. It pleases me that you have evolved since the last time we met. You're going to need that evolution now. And the same goes for you, no breaking each other, but otherwise, win. That's it.

Word of advice though, Se'Roc? Don't let her beat you. That really wouldn't look good for the Sith if assassin droids are beating them, don't you agree? Well in any case, just make sure you win.

She said casually and stepped back just a touch to give them some room. She wasn't just testing her new apprentice however. She was studying how force sensitives reacted to combat with droids and if the droid might actually have an advantage. She had studied the exiles using deficient battle droids years ago, to some varying degrees of effect, and was curious if with some updated technology, could she create a Jedi hunting droid. She would just have to watch and find out.

Alright go ahead. Let the best.. uh.. thing win I guess.

Though it was weird that Serie would conduct a fight in her own quarters, Se'Roc would not question it.

Surely an assassin droid was no match against the power of a force wielder. The young zabrak Sith ignited his crimson blade. Its red hue cast a red glow around the entire room. Se'Roc favored a defensive fighting style. His preferred fighting form III allowed him to wait and defend himself as he watched for an opportunity to counter attack. He also knew that Serie Fond preferred this form as well, a perfect coincidence. Se'Roc held his black in front of himself vertically and focused on the power of the force. He drew off the darkness of Korriban and the darkness emitting from the powerful woman in his midst. He waited for the droid to make its first move.

Sighing, which was purely for show since she didn't breathe, Night hummed a little bit when Serie laid out the rules as to how she wanted this whole thing to be conducted. The idea that the assassin droid wasn't allowed to kill this annoying man just got on her nerves... sort of.

She didn't really experience emotions in the same way humans did.

"If I can't break him... is it really playing?"

Drawing her vibrosword with her right hand, she also drew his pistol with the left hand and left it in stun mode, meaning she had five stun rounds before it would automatically change over to the ten lethal rounds. She tilted her head to the side slightly as she looked at the Sith.

She would charge herself forwards, no tell tale signs of movement as she had no muscles to twitch or show signs. As she wasn't a living being, the Force wouldn't warn the Sith either until she was already lashing out at his chest with a horizontal slash of her sword from her left (his right) to her right (his left). He could dodge or block - but either way, his blade would need to deal with the sword as she fired two rounds at his right leg from her blaster.

As Se'Roc held his lightsaber vertically in front of him, he watched the droid make its first movements from across the room. As it dashed toward the zabrak Sith, he took one hand off his lightsaber and extended it forward, palm out, to push the droid back. If the strike was successful, the droid would be sent back and Se'Roc would once again resume his defensive stance.

Night was an assassin droid of a Sith Master and had fought Jedi Masters - the apprentice might as well have telegraphed his attack to her from miles away. She pivoted to the right, spinning on her heels in a way that likely would have broken a human's ankle but did nothing to her.

While the apprentice was still standing there with his hand outstretched, she would still fire the two shots at his leg and would cross the distance between them to complete her planned horizontal slash. They weren't far from each other after all, the apprentice had knelt directly in front of Serie and Night had started the fight by her side.

This meant that there was less than five meters between them and she would be upon him with her sword strike in an instant.

Just a reminder of the positioning - they're not a room away from each other, they're within five metres of each other.

The droid had surprisingly known exactly what to do and how to react to Se'Roc's attack. This thing was fast, but lacked the certain advantages only a living being contained. Technology still had its limits, it wasn't invincible.

Obviously the droid was planning to use its blaster or else it would not have it out and ready. As far as Se'Roc was concerned, the blaster was his first priority.

The droid would not truly strike him with its blade. Because Serie had told it it could not harm the zabrak, it wouldn't dare try. It was against programming and demands.

As the droid came back toward Se'Roc, he, instead of going to block the blade, he went to block any shots from the blaster. As the blade tried to cross over Se'Roc's body, the zabrak jumped backwards and attempted to clear the blade length.

The instructions left by Master Serie Fond sounded rather solid, rather fixed, but in reality they were not. Night had been instructed not to do any real, lasting, damage to Koedi but kolto could heal all manner of injuries and it had been left up to Night's digression what counted as real or lasting.

This meant that while the Sith's blade went down low to block the stun rounds, the blade was in no position to stop Night's blade. Although the Sith started to jump backwards, his confidence in the limitations on Night meant that the Zabrak only started dodging once the blaster bolts had both been blocked.

Night's sword blade cut through his thin robes easily, slicing across his chest and upper arms in a horizontal slash. It wasn't a battle-ending blow since the Zabrak had jumped back but it was bleeding freely and heavily and would put the Sith apprentice on the back foot with distracting pain.

Pushing forwards, Night kept the Apprentice within blade-range, slashing diagonally down at Koedi's left knee while shooting another, single, bolt at the Zabrak's chest.

A terrible rage grew in the young zabrak Sith. The pain growing to a high-point in his mid-section was quickly overtaken by adrenaline and rage. The droid had created an intense anger in Se'Roc, and it would pay for it.

As the droid began its next attack sequence, with one downward slash directed toward Se'Roc's left knee and one shot toward his midsection, Se'Roc motioned his blade horizontally pointing to his left. The blade caught the baster bolt and the downward slash.

However, the leverage created from the droid's attack being at the end of Se'Roc's blade caused the lightsaber to motion downward as well. Se'Roc moved his left leg back and used this new momentum against the attacker by quickly carrying the blade in the same circular motion. Aided by the strength of pure rage, Se'Roc took his lightsaber, now positioned to his right, and attempted to strike from the droid's left to its right across its photo receptors. Cutting through the duraplast body of the machine would have proven too difficult in this scenario, but taking out the photo receptors, which were not duraplast, would be just as helpful to Se'Roc.

Se'Roc would then push the droid away with the force, giving himself plenty of space to resume defensive positioning.

Night was surprised that the Sith had managed to block both of her attacks but she was not discouraged however. It meant that the creature had potential to be her Mistress' apprentice, despite looking rather foolish.

Horns on organics were just rather silly to the droid.

But while Koedi was moving his lightsaber in a spin, he hadn't actually done anything to stop her blade. Sure, her slash to his left knee was blocked... but in attempting some fancy spinning move to his right, he left his left side completely exposed with her blade still close to his left side as it hadn't been batted aside, merely stopped.

This meant that she took a step forwards as she flicked her blade up even as his blade was spinning to the right, which would see her blade scoring upwards along his chest, cutting him deeply and rendering his left arm useless without medical attention as the slash would cut deep, while he was still spinning.

Her attack would happen before either of his planned attacks and would put him in no position to attack with his right blade without taking the hit to his left side.

Se'Roc looked up toward his master with a face full of pain. Somehow, this droid was able to completely counter everthing that the young zabrak Sith had to throw its way. It was a powerful droid, maybe too powerful.

Though, the most likely reason for this was that either Raith had done a pitiful job at training the young man or that something was just lacking on Se'Roc's front. Either way, the growth needed was obvious for Se'Roc to reach any sort of grandeur even close to the level he and his master would eventually desire.

Se'Roc had lost the fight, and this made him angrier still. If he was able to function normally, without this blade in his side, he would summon the deepest parts of the force he could to dismantle this abominable creation.
