An Inquisitive Childhood
Talo was born on Nagi to a craftsman and his wife, and though his father was perhaps the best in their small town they never really had all that much. In spite of their poverty they were a happy family, however Talo's father always wanted more for them. By the age of 3 his father had impressed some high ranking Imperials and a job was offered to him, so the Geist family packed their few belongings and shipped off to Coruscant.
Coruscant was a magical place to young Talo, even at night it was as bright as if the sun hadn’t set. The crowds, lights and heights blew his young mind. And the technology that he was exposed to was fascinating, he quickly figured out how to work a datapad and various other devices even at his young age. The fact that his family was treated sort of poorly by...well...everyone, didn't really phase the young Nagai. He did not quite understand the concept of racism yet, but because his father's work was invaluable it never got too out of hand.
He went through schooling in the family's apartment suite, being home schooled by an Imperial protocol droid while his father worked and his mother kept their home.
As Talo grew he became more and more fascinated by technology, disassembling and re-building anything he could get his hands on to learn how it worked. Eventually he was sent into a private school because he re-programmed the droid that was teaching him to run a more advanced curriculum out of boredom.
A Quick Study
Talo excelled in his courses at the private school, skipping grades with how fast he learned. Though in spite of how good a student he was he did get into trouble from time to time, often for sneaking into the kitchens for a late night study snack. Once for reprogramming the schools server to call out a teacher who was cruel to students.
With his intelligence and aptitude for technology Talo graduated regular school at the age of fifteen, and was immediately offered a full ride at the Imperial Academy.
Academic Ascension
Talo loved the academy. He was finally learning the things he wanted to. He also liked getting to be at home in his family’s apartment suite when he wasn’t at the academy, though be did wish he could spend more time with his father -who had been promoted to an officer and put in charge of several projects-. His parents were incredibly proud of him, and when his father was at home he was ecstatic to hear of Talo's studies.
Talo was still treated differently by most everyone because of his race, and he vowed that he would prove being Nagai did not make him any less than a human.
Tragedy
Talo graduated from the academy with honors at the age of twenty, his parents had never been more proud of him. They celebrated for days, his busy father taking the time off of work and his mother cooking each of his favourite meals each night.
But on the way to his graduation ceremony there was a terrible accident, his mother had gotten into the speeder first when suddenly an out of control speeder slammed into it. Both vehicles were destroyed in a huge explosion, his father barely managed to pull him away in time. His mother was lost.
Imperial Agent
After the death of his mother, Talo's father threw himself into his work. Hardly ever coming home. So, Talo found something to do with his time. That something was joining the Imperial Intelligence section. He has become as skilled with his pistols and at acrobatics as he is with computers and is an incredible asset to the Empire.
Even still, the shadow of Imperial Republica's xenophobia follows him everywhere. He still holds to his goal of making people see that he is no less important to the empire in spite of his heritage, but it gets to him sometimes. Between the loss of his mother and the constant racism he faces on a daily basis Talo has become quite cold.

Talo is a grim, quiet man. His old sense of humor occasionally comes through but his goal is not friendship. He does not care what others think of him, he only cares that he does his job perfectly. Along with his perfectionism and grim determination, Talo is ambitious. He will do anything required to advance his career

Talo is a tall slender man, like most males of his race. He has the usual long features of a Nagai and the usual blueish white skin and black hair -which he keeps short at the sides and long/spiked at the back-. He wears black pants, black boots and a long sleeved black shirt with a long black coat that has red silk lining inside and fur along the shoulders and across the back. He keeps his twin pistols holstered on his thighs and usually has a small handheld computer clipped to his belt.

Talo met Percy in a club at a meet and greet type event. He struck up a conversation and earned something akin to respect from the Sith Acolyte and hopes to be given tasks by the man which may help to further his career.
