PERSONALITY:
Very independent fights through pain. Shy and never asks for help, not leadership material always follows other. Would rather talk then fight and almost never gets mad
BIOGRAPHY:
Grew up on Mandalore happily with parents before his village was burned down. During a fight between red and green lightsabers a spark hit a wooden house and sparked a fire burning his whole village to the ground. At age 14 Tango survived the fire but his family did not.
He has been living on the streets finding food and money one way or another. At age 18 tango broke into mandalore base and stole black mandelorian armor. Now he is prospering as a mercenary/bounty hunter secretly wanting revenge on any force users.

FORCE POWERS: 0 force powers SKILLS: good with technology and weapons. can fly pretty much anything because he dad was a pilot who taught him everything.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES: has decent aim good in 1 on 1 combat.

[GEAR:
stabsard blaster, 2 smoke grenades and 2 grenades.
SHIP:
Owns a small patrol ship his dad owned. The only memories he has left.

I know this is still a WiP, however I feel I should mention a few things.

- Empire does not exist.
- Rebels don't exist.

Other than that, really flesh it out so we know who this guy is.

2. He grew up on Mandalore but had to steal Mandalorian armor?
3. Currently, it's very unlikely the Jedi and Sith ever fought on Mandalore
4. In a village of presumably trained Mandalorians, everyone was killed in a fire?
5. You're going to want to elaborate on basically everything. Its way too general.

I think some of these problems are related to a lack of understanding concerning EU. Mandalorian culture, of which many elements are being taking for the Mandalorians in the new timeline. Id recommend looking on Wookieepedia.

I'm just trying to help you improve your profile. We work on a system of peer review here. So if someone has an issue with your profile once it's posted on the Character board, you're encouraged to accept it unless it's overtly unreasonable. Now, this is a WIP, and you don't have to accept what I'm saying, but I guarantee that people will bring up similar concerns if they aren't addressed.

2. And 3. And 4. The new DotR timeline will be using a different history than previous portrayed in the legends Canon. As in, Mandalorians are still considered a primarily warrior culture. The Jedi and Sith are recorded as not having battled in quite some time, as well as the Jedi being nowhere near Mandalore. So I find your backstory highly unlikely.

@Outlander is simply trying to offer you aid to improve your character profile and give it more depth. As it stands, there are some glaring issues pointed out above that could use some tweaking to make Tango more believable for the next timeline. You don't have to accept his advice, but it could help you in writing.

Also, it should be stated that the Fett clan, may no longer be canon. While Jango Fett is canon there is nothing (To my current knowledge) linking him to being Mandalorian. The only tell we have is he wears the armour, that doesn't necessarily mean he is a Mando.

Just something to think about! There are plenty of other clans that are canon if you wished to work that into you characters back story.

There is lieutenant of Mandalore the Ultimate who was called Cassus Fett but Old republic doesn't exist on this forum so tsunami is right about that and also it legend so not count as canon

basically Disney has made it hard on all of us and until they say "oh yeah we are keeping that the way it was" it's assumed it never happened or at least is up there with unconfirmed hear-say along with Darth JarJar and everything else that is basically fan-canon.

added note: it's arguable if mandalorian is really a species since that's basically a human but some people do call themselves "corellian" even though it basically mean human.

from what i understand is that disney isn't exactly saying that all the stuff isn't canon it's more like a leveling of continuity or "second class canon" so if anything that they decide to do conflicts with the older creations then their newer stuff takes precedence over it and makes it inferior and akin to fanfiction. but this isn't the place to discuss how annoying that is, or the validity of the tangents this subject presents.

Just want to clear something up here right quick. Legends canon is a separate canon from new Canon. Sure writers/creators can draw on Legends for inspiration, but as far as the new timeline it should be assumed it's all noncanon if it's not in new Canon as well, or what the admins have expressed stated as canon (which is mostly in regards to fairly common EU species like Zeltrons, Hapans, Arkanians, etc.). That's sort of the point of the whole blank slate thing this timeline is about in regards to canon.

That said, I feel like I should remind everyone that the canonicity of Fett being a Mandalorian Clan is uncertain. All we know is that Jango Fett was from Concord Dawn, a Mandalorian colony (one that is totally wrecked during the movie era btw). Also, the spelling of vhett/Fett is mostly irrelevant as 99% of Mando'a is now non/Legends Canon.

You can still be a Mandalorian and a Fett, but I feel like there is some misinformation and confusion that needs to be cleared up. Just be aware the only canon reference to Fett being Mandalorian was another Mando going "he wasn't a Mando"
