COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:
Lights pulsing, rhythms booming, bodies in motion as the fog rises and swirls. At the head of the room stands the conductor of the techno-symphonic madness. Clad in cutting edge club wear, and glowing bracelets the Empress's star DJ makes it known who controls the flow of the nights madness. Her build is that of your average young Twi'lek, slender framed, narrow jaw, Lekku worn draped over a shoulder or strait. Upon her blue skin Tanna wears white body paint as apposed to tattoos simply because she tends to change the designs constantly to match her mood.
PERSONALITY:
Tanna's personality is hard to pin down as she tends to come across fairly neutral most of the time. Generally she's considered outgoing and easy to approach by those closest to her, but may come across as " stand off-ish" by other performers or fan-boys who flock to the night club to watch her perform.
LIKES AND DISLIKES:
Music drives Ms.Oolvaa. Deep tones, fast rhythms, the constant motion of sound and body. It all holds great importance to her, be it performing, or listening to, or dancing to. The Twi'lek is not necessarily fond of being the most popular, it would be a lie to say she didn't appreciate it, but her drive is producing a moment, or telling a story through sound. It matters little to her if her crowed is 5 people or 5,000.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Stamina, passion, and charisma lend great aid to the former dancer turned DJ, her outgoing nature makes it easy for her to work herself into almost any crowed and instantly seem like she's been their the entire time. Gambling for thrill, the need for credits, and to express herself often land her into tight situations, however she tends to keep her nose clean most of the time.
History: Tanna was born a typical, middle cast first daughter on the Twi'Lek homeworld of Ryloth. Her father was a simple miner, her mother a hostess and singer. Her youth was average, attending schooling, and learning the arts which was normal for most female twi'lek. Lay off's at her fathers mine lead the family short on funding, and with Ryloth taxes on the lower casts already high the young girls family was forced to do what had become seen as " normal". They sold their daughters off to the highest bidders. Tanna was purchased by a bottom line conman of a Hutt Named Mantuvvah for his new club on the planet of Zeltros. She was given freedom, by Hutt business standards and allowed to keep a cut of what she made each night dancing for the clubs rather motley customers. A few years into her employment she came to know a new business partner of the Hutt's, a female Zeltros names Aife. Finding a friend in the Zeltron was fairly easy, though she had learned over the years to be weary of ambitious individuals, and Aife was that and more.
Shortly after the " mysterious death" of her owner, Tanna found herself unemployed, and out of her servant contract. She had heard rumors that Aife would be taking over. desperate for a chance to earn a living that did not involve stripping for pirates, and mercs Aife presented her with the opportunity to work as the clubs DJ. Her first night could not have been better. Her natural love of music and movement produced an event that spread wildly through the Zeltronian night life, and in time she was called " the soul of Empress"
More recently Tanna has been a key figure in helping Aife establish JAde entertainment ( now Jade Enterprises) as a dominant figure in the galaxy as both a friend, and spokeswoman. Her long time relationship with Jedi Master Weisheng can be seen by the Kasa Horansi striped tattoo patterns.
Tanna spent vast amounts of time with Weisheng honing her force abilities, reaching levels equil to that of many younger Jedi Knights, though refused to join the Order as to better protect her adopted homeworld of Zeltros. The young Twi-lek was gravely wounded while attempting to rescue Aife after she was abducted on Coruscant. The adventure earned the respect of Valek, the former shade body guard of Aife's. Though she was unable to see to Aifes safe return personally she played a major role in allowing Valek to finish the job. Recovery for her wounds however have been long.
