[Taris]Down with the Republica!

Cher sneaked her way between some trees as she walked away from her ship. Waiting for her two companions to arrive was proving to be a bit frustrating. The Tiss really wants to get on with the hunt. The excitement was making it difficult for the reptilian to keep herself from rushing into the communications base that supposedly belongs to the Imperial Republica. Did she care that they are sent to this place? Nope. If the Emperor deemed the Imperial Republica the enemy she will do her job. And since the enemy seems to be xenophobic, from what she heard, then she will teach them what the advantages are when one hires nonhumans into their ranks.

Growling with a mixture of annoyance from waiting and excitement of the hunt that is to start. She stopped at a tree that was not that far from the ship. Flexing her neck to the left then right she glanced over to the ship wondering where her two companions are. Reminding herself to calm down the Raptor laid down on the somewhat damp grass to stay low so enemies do not spot her. Even though the sun is going down, the Raptor pretty much was well blended into the shadows since her own scales are as black as night. She still wants to make herself as small of a target as possible while she waits for her companions.

As she waited, Cher's gaze was fixed on the base the trio will be heading into. Fixated on their target to see if she can spot enemies approaching from that direction.

She was dressed in her Sith Marauder armour, and with her lightsaber by her side. She was here to help kill republica, they need to die, and die horribly. She was just behind the raptor, it was a fascinating beast, she hoped could diesectic one day, after she died naturally of course. She gave a quick bow, to her as she approached, and said softly so not to be heard. The others will be coming soon, any idea what we face? This was her first time in the field, and actually being ready to kill someone. She killed and dissected rodents before now, but this was the real thing.

She had some butterflies in her stomach, and cold nervous sweat. She hid this, as best she could, she did not want her companions to doubt her. She could this, she could really do this for the empire. After all this is what she was training for, this is how she would make her family's fortune. This was how she would rise the house of kotass, well she hoped it would. She kept herself as calm, as she could keep herself. She just wanted to get over with, and them as dead as they could be. There was no smiles on her face, she was ready could be, apart from a cold sweat, and few butterflies in her stomach.

The Raptor was not pleased that they will have to continue to wait for whoever is left on their team that is to arrive. They needed to get a move on while the element of surprise is still on their side. Cher hissed angrily, wanting to get moving. Her next meal is in that place and she wants it now. She wanted to smell the fear their opponents will reek of when they lay their eyes on the reptilian, as their life vanishes from their eyes. Oh she has no idea how much longer she is willing to wait. The Tiss was able to smell Sabrina as the teenager approached her, and was able to feel the vibrations of her approach through her lower jaw as she laid on the ground, "No. I do not know what we will face in there." The Raptor will reply.

The Raptor then smelled the familiar scent of sweat. There was only one person that could be coming from, nd there is no way that the Sith could deny it. The Raptor will lift her head from the ground and stand at her full height of six feet and an inch tall, making her taller than the teenager, "Don't be frightened. You are a Sith represssenting the true Emperor here." She will start as Cher turned to face Sabrina, "The Rule of the Strong is your motto correct? Start acting like it." She will simply say to the teenager, trying to encourage the girl even though the Tiss is not too good with words just yet, "Don't show any fear or weakness. Once you do, your opponents will see it and use it to their advantage." The Tiss will end her small lecture with that. The Raptor will then turn to face the place they will be heading into, her red eyes scanning.

She looked over her shoulder, the others had not arrived yet. Then she looked at the raptor, it was glorious creature and replied I not scared, I am just nervous. This is my first battle, so it is a cherry popper for me. She smiled at that, she just made herself laugh on the inside, besides she was taught a healthy dose of fear was useful, it kept you alive. It did not stop the butterflies in her stomach, but it did reduce the sweat. She then asked the beast, So how long before the others arrive, as longer it takes, the more likely they are to detected us? That if they have not already, as some can sense other force sensitive, if attuned enough.

She then got down to business, as they where here for a purpose, and that was to kill them. Any idea idea, how many we are facing, and where the rest of crew is? This was also taking her mind of things, and starting to get down to the planning. This magnificent beast would already sensed far more than her, she was well suited for this task.

 

[Breda Onn]

When Breda arrived he caught word of the conversation and frowned, which was visible this time due to him having left the helmet of his Enforcer armor behind. "Waiting for reinforcements is a coward's move," he told them, uncaring to discuss tactics and simple walked on to approach the base Cher was eyeing. "After my delay on Null I expected to arrive at a base already conquered."

He was clearly disappointed in the lack of risk those two were taking and as thus they had to prove their worth even more. There was a hope that with him wearing Imperial armor he would be able to simple walk inside, but the security forces thought different and six guards ran outside and blocked his way, standing in a half circle with Breda in the middle.

"This is a mistake," the Serenno-born aristocrat sighed and ignited the lightsaber in his right hand. He noticed that half of the guards hesitated as a result when he assumed a defensive position with the saber in front.

Cher hissed quietly as Sabrina replied and asked questions she should already know answers to. If there is no one else here, then no one has arrived. The Raptor decided then to get moving, well at that point Breda had arrived. Angry that nothing had been done so far. The Raptor eyed the Sith, what did he expect? Did he really expect the Tiss to drag in a teenager who was possibly having second thoughts? Dragging in a kid who is having nervousness would spell disaster. She is here to do her job, not babysit a nervous teenager.

No matter, Cher will make up for it all and prove that she was being a coward. As the Raptor approached the base she noted that six guards came out to block the way. They hesitated, but stood firm as Breda activated his lightsaber. Well some of them stood firm. As she approached two of the guards freaked out. One ran back into the compound while the second did retreat but only to put enough distance between him and the three Imperials. Cher approached the second guard she frightened, singling him out from the other four. When she got close enough, the Raptor leaped at the human, knocking him to the ground as she dug her claws into the guard's body. Now with the man pinned by her claws and mass. The man screamed out in dying agony before going silent when Cher snapped his neck with her jaws.

Growling the Tiss removed her claws from the guard's corpse. Turning around to face the four guards that remained, she snapped her jaws as the scent of their sweat made her hunger for another kill. Their sweat telling the Tiss that they are frightened. Very frightened. The Tiss is on the left side of the line of guards, cutting them off from escaping that way if they decide to make a run for it.

She could sense the raptor, was not as impressed with her, as she was it. Then a man came, he spoke she recognised that accent, he was a fellow serenno. She like to meet his acquaintance more after this mission, his voice removed doubt form her, as she dare not be scared in front of a fellow serenno subject.

Then it happened, six guards ran round, and she drew her lightsaber and lit up her crimson blade, and ran at them. The raptor got their first, and ripped into two of them. The beast ripped them apart, in freighting speed, it was pleasure to watch. As they where distracted by her, she finally caught up. As they watched beast as it turned, she went to behead one of them, with a quick flick of her blade, she removed it. As she did one of the guards, came back to his senses and shot at her. The blaster bolt skimmed her armour, it did not cut in to her breast plate. Though did make her stagger back, and gave the others a bit of room. She raised her lightsaber to protect herself.....

 

[Fynn Draygo]

It had been months since Fynn had recovered from his ordeal on Tatooine, but even know he felt as broken as he had while he had been confined to the bed. It had taken him some time to realize that he needed a direction, a purpose to latch onto if he was ever going to get better. So he had started doing anything and everything he could for the Alliance.

This time it had brought him to Taris, and just in time to stumble upon what seemed like a skirmish between Sith? He had been keeping an eye on the compound for some time now till he spotted the trio of figures approach it, along with a complement of soldiers. He had wondered who they were till the blades lit up in their hands. He wasn't sure what they were doing here, but they were Sith and that was enough for him. Pulling out the rifle he had started carrying every since Tatooine to ensure he was never outgunned in a fight, along with the pack of grenades he had acquired, he prepared for combat.

Sneaking along in the wake of the Sith, he snuck behind a tree a dozen feet from them and waited behind it, peeking out to observe the Sith, rifle pointed at them as he waited for an opportunity to attack.

As Cher distracted the remaining guards, the reptilian watched as Sabrina went in for the attack. She did succeed in cutting down one of them, but another seemed to snap out of his stunned trance and attacked the teenager. The attack skimmed off of her armor but it seemed to have been enough to make the young lady retreat a bit. Well that is too bad. Hopefully the other Sith.. whatever his name was will take the chance of Cher blocking their escape route to cut down the remaining four guards.

Cher hissed somewhat in displeasure and amusement as the remaining guards seemed to be too frightened to take the reptilian on. Well that was quite alright, as since they are too focused on her they will be left wide open for the two Sith she is with to attack and cut them down. The Raptor being somewhat separated from the other two due to her maneuvering herself to cut off the four guards' escape route. So as Fynn observed the two Sith he may have failed to notice the Raptor standing away from the other two. As two of the guards tried to escape, the Raptor only had to snap her jaws to scare them back to where they were previously standing.


Cher will keep an eye on the surroundings as she blocked the four trapped guards only escape route. She did doubt that more guards will come to the aid of their comrades. But what she did not know was that now the group is being watched by a single Rebel.

She recovered herself form the blast, as the last of guards ran from her. She gave slight smile, and then raised her hand with her lightsaber in it. She then throw the crimson red blade towards him, it span straight and true. As it stuck him, it pass stright through his neck, decapitating him. His body took another step, before falling over in a heap. The head fell on to his own back, as it did, she gestured her lightsaber come back to her. The blade flew straight back into her hand, and then she turned it off. She had killed for the first time, she thought she feel more, but she did not. This was no different, than killing a rodent.

She then began to run, to catch up with the beast that knows her name. As she did she said to the raptor, Well we made short work of them. Her nerves had gone, she was not as worried as she use to be. The was no more floating butterflies in the pit of her stomach, she could do this, she was SITH.

She too was unaware of the Alliance sniper, but she was just coming down from an adrenaline rush. Though she was waiting for one of them to tell her what was next in the plans.

[Breda Onn]

They took the guards out in a matter of seconds, no doubt convinced it would make them look good in Breda's eyes, but the opposite was true. If they could do this and dispatch of these men so easily, then why had they not done so before his arrival? Had they needed a moral boost from a superior Sith? Breda merely sighed as he continued to walk inside the building and began to put his focus in the Force to determine whether or not there were more threats around.

He encountered no further opposition going through the main entrance of Imperial base's sole building, but when he stepped into the foyer seven guards stood waiting for him. "Sith?" one of the them asked, having noticed the ignited red lightsaber in Breda's right hand, "How did you get passed the others?"

The Serenno aristocrat didn't even assume his traditional stance before he attacked them, something that he quickly came to regret as his attack met with mixed results. In quick succession he aimed to take out all seven guards, but some had faster trigger fingers than he had anticipated in his arrogance. Three fell to quick jabs and slashes of his lightsaber before a bolt caught him in his lower back, burning mostly through the armor and stopping his momentum entirely. "Argh!" the human Sith turned and channeled the Force in his anger and pain and was about to resume his attack when another three bolts hit him, first in the leg, then the arm and lastly the stomach. A normal person would succumb to the pain and lose consciousness fast, but Breda managed to channel his pain and the Dark Side allowed him to keep standing, although barely.

Actively focusing on keeping consciousness with the Force, Breda was in no condition right now to press the attack. His survival was completely dependent on the assistance of Cher and Sabrina..

She heard her other Serenno noble cry in pain, she began running towards him. She saw the first of the guards and smiled, she picked up her lightsaber and threw it at him. The lightsaber span in the air majestically, towards the guard. He saw it coming though, and ducked as it was about to hit him. The blade cut his hair nicely as it past, and started to return to her. She was still running, she went to catch her blade, but stumbled as she did. This meant rather than catching it, the handle of the blade smacked her straight in the nose. Her was broken, and she fell forward smacking her head on the floor. All went dark, as she was out cold.

[Artarion Sekt]

Artarion had been trying to get the mission to take Taris complete for months it seemed. He had given tasks to specific commanders and those commanders for the most part was full of excuses and few results. He decided to make his own presence known on the planet, even more than it already was. He approached the communications tower array and the fight was underway. He watched as an acolyte did a classic saber toss, striking cutting the hair of one of the guards. The saber returned and promptly knocked the woman unconscious.

It was the perfect distraction for Artarion to enter the battle, he would have to remember to thank the unknown acolyte, if she survived. The four remaining guards were all charging towards the downed acolyte where she lay. They had all grouped up and that was the best of situations for Artarion. He gathered the Force into him, the river of its dark power flowing into his muscles and awareness the fuel his abilities. He squatted down and rose into the air, flying across the distance to land on the ground above the downed acolyte.

As he landed, the Force rolled out from him in a wave. He spun in a circle, right hand saber low and left-hand saber high. He took the first guard across the neck, rich red arterial blood flying across the downed body on the ground. The second guard took a slash across his midriff, his bowels opening to spill out. The man would drop his weapons and scramble to attempt to keep his intestines inside his body. The third guard took a slash across his torso from shoulder to navel. The guard flew backwards from the force of the blow leaving the last guard standing, looking wide-eyed at the blood covered Sith Crusader. Artarion reached out with the Force and grabbed the last guard by the throat, lifting him into the air. He pulled him towards him, impaling him on his twin lightsabers before he violently ripped the sabers apart, tearing the man in half.

Blood showered the body at Artarion’s feet, covering the acolyte in gore and vitae. Artarion stepped over the body on the ground and entered the communications array. He would collect the body on his way out to ensure the acolyte would fight again. The Empire needed soldiers and he would not waste resources. He entered the communications array and set the self-destruct on the facility. It was extremely convenient of the Imperial Republica to have installed self-destruct mechanisms. Artarion decided he would have to send them a note of thanks. It was certainly the least he could do. As he ran from the facility, he was good to his word and lifted the acolyte to one shoulder and ran into the distance. The explosion of the communications array filled the sky behind him.
