Team Shadowstrike - Roster and Info

Team Shadowstrike

After the conclusion of Tython Clash, we will be forming Team Shadowstrike to do "legendary difficulty" missions. The winner of the tournament will be given team lead for Shadowstrike. These Jedi wear masks (the Temple Guard masks from TCW and Rebels) to hide their identity so they are not known to even each other. This protects them from both judgement and personal glory for their acts in the name of the Jedi. Shadowstrike will be a team assigned a target to assassinate or similar missions in the name of the Jedi Knights and the Jedi Lord. When you don the mask you take on a major responsibility. Elite warriors answered the call and have taken on the mask.

Below are the Jedi who have stepped up to wear the mask. Each bringing different experience to the table.​

Name: Vosrik Tanari

Summary: Vosrik is an experienced Jedi Knight, having gone on many missions over the years, both with his Master and on his own after passing the Trials. He is a proficient user of Form IV, Ataru, and is also an expert at using the Force to manipulate the speed of his movements. Vosrik is certainly no stranger to conflict; he's fought several Sith before and progressed high into the ranks of the renowned Tython Clash tournament. With these accomplishments and his experience behind him, Vosrik offers up his dual lightsabers to Lord Bau Zo in the hopes that he will be accepted to serve with the Shadowstrike.

Summary: Shalken is a Jedi Knight, experienced in various conflicts both through his training and in the missions he has undergone after his Trials. He has honed his knowledge in Form V to an art, priding himself in his strong defensive skills. Shalken burns with desire to defend the Republic and those he cares for, and will gladly take up his lightsaber as a Shadowstrike agent with his Lord to confront the Sith Brotherhood menace.

Summary: Taox Rouge is a Jedi Knight that, tragically, knows firsthand how dangerous the Dark Side can be, and how necessary and vital is to fight it on all fronts. In this respect, Taox was solidified to the Light Side after a baptism by fire with the Dark Side, poisoning him against it. Determined never to allow its influence to fester wherever he finds it, Taox's skills are built around combating the Dark Side, and those that worship it. Although trained in Form III: Soresu and Form V: Shien/Djem So, Taox has a strong grasp of the strengths and weaknesses of most of the seven forms, able to both recognize and circumvent them with time. With a honed Force ability to conceal his presence and shield his mind, Taox is aptly suited for endeavors requiring cunning and secrecy alike.

Summary: Reem is a two centuries-old titan of a Knight. He knows the Dark Side is a pervasive plague attempting to infect the galaxy and is willing to go to extreme lengths to prevent that assault. Of the majority of Jedi, Reem is both taller and physically stronger, as well as more in-tune with the undulations of the Force simply from his length of time as a Jedi. He has fought his way to the semifinals of the Tython Clash and is no stranger to battle, utilizing a mixture of Djem So, Shii Cho, and an adapted variant of longsword technique. Though he has an imposing stature, he is not ignorant to subterfuge and delicate operations. He's essentially a WH40k Adeptus Astartes (first contemporary example that came to mind); his mind is pure, his body purged of sin. He's strong of will and actively resists temptation, scorning those who allow their base emotions to cloud their minds. Nothing he does is for personal glory; all deeds performed are a because they are a necessity in the annihilation of the dark and protection of the galaxy. He's also a pretty cool cat. Not a literal cat, but a cool cat.

Summary: A no non-sense warrior. Friedrich is agile, and deliberate. Strong, yet conditioned. He considers himself the perfect weapon. He has no qualms with dealing harshly with those that need be dealt with and will follow the orders given to him without question. His use of makashi infused with two sword combat makes him truly deadly. His use of force is not elaborate, but incredibly efficient, clean, and quick. He cares not for his own glory, but the advance of the Jedi Order.

While this sounds cool, is it just me or do the words Jedi and assassin just not mix? Aren't Jedi supposed to be like respectful of life and stuff?

Jedi Assassin might be the wrong words but is pretty close. This is the most extreme side of the Jedi for sure though. We have plenty of Canon examples of Jedi going after Sith and other enemies to take them out as assassination-like attempts. The Jedi respect life and stuff but they also can be warriors that take action for the betterment of the galaxy. This is the group willing to get their hands dirty. They wear masks so their motivation won't be the darkness of personal glory, and it keeps them from being judged by others or judging their peers. It keeps them honest to the cause rather than giving in to their dark desires. When you put on the mask you are a tool of the light side to purge the dark.

Summary: Glinn is one of the darker Jedi's in the order, but usually tempers himself well. He does have a passion for taking to the fight to whoever deems as an enemy, and shows little mercy towards them. He views diplomacy as a waste of time and believes if he wants something done right, he'll have to do it himself. He enjoys combat, as for him, it is a good opportunity to improve his skills and become a better warrior.

While Vit'al's technical skill set make him seem like the perfect canidate for this sort of thing, the ethical conundrum is delightfully stagering for him. What I am really interested in is RPing a conversation where the General asks him.

Summary: Vit'al is a former master and premier martial artist, having often been utilized by the council for covert investigations. Furthermore, his ethical backbone only makes him a more perfect canidate. While no doubt he may lose some sleep, he would not be a part of such a mission for illusions of glory, lust for battle, or to satisfy a dangerous hatred of his enemy, but simply because it had to be done.

Summary: Kalii is a Jedi and more importantly, a soldier. Her training and experience goes beyond that of the standard Jedi knight, growing up in an elite academy with the focus of training some of the most efficient soldiers in the galaxy. She is fully devoted to purging the Sith from the galaxy, and there are few lengths she would not go to to accomplish this goal. She is highly trained swordsman, utilizing a mixture of Shien, Djem So, Shii-Cho, and Mandalorian swordsmanship. When it comes to the force, her talents lie in telekinesis, her former master being somewhat of a savant in the skill, and resisting mental intrusion and compulsions. Her skills however do no lie merely within the realms of the Jedi arts. She is well skilled with blasters and explosives of various sorts, and is no stranger to subterfuge and infiltration. This combination of dedication, skill, and mindset would make her an excellent asset to Shadowstrike.

Summary: Although Semira might seem like an odd candidate for Team Shadowstrike, she is able to offer things many cannot. She is an excellent pilot and would be able to help her team members from the air quite well. Bu that is not to say she is not terrible with a lightsaber. Semira also would be able to quickly improsive on a plan if something were to go wrong on a mission. And although she may have darker tendencies, putting on a mask would help Semira become more focused on her goals.
Edit: I know this is kind of late, but I just remembered that Semira has a pretty small build. She would be able to fit into small places like venelation ducts and such.

Summary: An expert in lightsabers by practice, a fighter by nature, Andé wholeheartedly believes in the preservation of civilization and the enforcement of justice and is generally willing to go down great lengths to ensure that neither of those cease to exist. Adept in Ataru and Djem So, she uses an interesting mixture of both forms to maintain a mostly aggresive stance during battle, never truly going on the defensive. Able to greatly enhance her natural talents further with the Force, Andé would have no trouble with the subterfuge and secrecy that this endeavour would entail, nor with the combat and assasinations and would instead yearn for them. Anything to keep civilization going.

A rather young knight Felix has dedicated and loyal to the order and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice if need be. A warrior in every way Felix is not shy about getting his hands dirty and is able to do so with out any feeling's of personal glory limiting any chance he could be swayed to the dark side.

I have not seen much as far as combat yet, but I have seen some writing and you seem active enough. Approved
