Oh and yeah, the trailer is the worst I've probably ever seen, I wasn't even sure if it was real at first, it looks like a parody of the kind of movie Hollywood would make, in that respect this reminds me of Battleship.

That's the feeling I got. Like those Youtube fan trailers for a gritty reboot of Pokemon or other pop culture icons.

I think that the Turtles movie will be better though. TMNT has always had more personality than Transformers did, so I think that plus the action of Transformers will make for a good action flick.

I don't think we can really judge too early, though. I can't wait for more info to emerge, like maybe a trailer with Splinter in it.

That's what I didn't like about the Transformers movies: The unending amount of humans. I purchased a ticket for Transformers so that I could see Transformers, not so that I could watch Stanley Yelnats talk about his great grandfather. I'm really hoping that the humans just take the backseat for this movie and allow the turtles to actually show off the personalities that we've come to love.

It should've been like the Hellboy movies, a balance of grit with the fantastical and an appropriate amount of humour and well executed action/violence.

Del Toro should be directing, not Michael "Frat boy humour, arson lover, racist" Bay.

They could also actually look like turtles instead of Shrek on steroids.
