TEJ - Is The Pen Mightier After All

The two largest and most powerful factions had coalesced around the leadership of two opposing figures who had been vying for the leadership on the planet of Botajef since the sudden and unexpected death of their former leader. Shortly both would enter and sit across from each other in front of both Xornoth and Spencer where their cases would be judged and the verdict rendered although in truth the Sith Master had other plans in mind.

The Jefi were intelligent and fiercely loyal people but to swoop in and usurp power away from the established order would require the Sith to utilize all their talents and skills, threats of violence and diplomatic tact. Whatever the cost, the objective was the same - the total and complete submission of the people and their planet to Xornoth and by extension, the Empire.

Before they began to enter the hall and take their seats, Xornoth turned to Spencer. "These people respect competency above all, they will perhaps seek to embarrass and mock but we must balance diplomacy with force and not let them get the better of us. They will shortly arrive and introduce themselves, just follow my lead and answer what you wish. Are you ready?"

He had brought Spencer along with him just in case things went sideways and needed back up. Dressed nicely in his recently polished Sith armor he traced his finger along the lightsaber tucked on his belt while waiting for a response as the families arrived and filled the seating arrangement before the pair.

"Thank you all for coming today, I am Master Sk'ar and the Empire offers its condolences on the recent loss that your people have suffered. It is my hope today that we can prevent an outbreak of hostilities between the Jefi people and arrive at a mutually benefiting arrangement."
