Tendr'sh was a male Neti, who has grown to be very wise and knowledgeable over his relatively short lifetime. Having only joined the Jedi Order in the past few years, Tendr’sh only recently attained the rank of Jedi Knight and is still studying the ways of the light side of the force, as a result. Due to his comparative age to others in the Order, it is easy for others to look up to Tendr’sh as a teacher, when in reality it is generally the opposite way around.

▵Biography

Born on the Inner Rim planet Myrkr as an only child, due to the reproduction rate of Neti, nearly five centuries ago, Tendr’sh is still relatively young, compared to other Jedi - his age is comparable to their early twenties - and has spent the vast majority of his life so far on Myrkr.

At the age of 15, Tendr’sh entered his clan’s education system, becoming accustomed to the stories and tales of old, as well as becoming a scholar in herbal medicine throughout the course of his studies over the next two centuries. Since leaving the academy, Tendr’sh begun practicing simple telekinesis under the guidance of his clan’s elder, eventually being able to complete menial tasks such as lifting small rocks and logs, however the lack of progress never once bothered Tendr’sh, as he would have the next few millennia to perfect the technique.

Roughly ten years ago, Tendr’sh was selected as one of just a handful to be sent off world to be trained as part of the Jedi Order, an event on Myrkr, which only takes place once every 1000 standard years, or so. Taking this as an honour, he immediately began his training with the Jedi, initially excelling in his studies in the force, due to his past telekinetic experience, but quickly falling behind, due to his species’ natural patience and lack of urgency. As a result of this, despite actively trying to overcome it, Tendr’sh was always slightly behind the other students, which contributed to him receiving his knighthood a few years after his initial classmates - something which never bothered him, as it granted him more time in a relatively safe environment to hone his saber skills, as well as begin learning to partially “shapeshift”, by growing his limbs a little more and more each time.

At the age of 481, Tendr’sh was granted his knighthood, becoming the Jedi he had once dreamed of being as a child.

▵Personality and traits
Tendr’sh was a loving and caring person from the moment he could speak, always ushering out kind words to those who needed them. As a result, many are happy to confide in him, making many friendships, both long and short over his lifetime. This is furthered by his often lighthearted nature and optimistic view of the galaxy, despite realistic views running through the Jedi Consulars. However, his friendly nature prohibits him from using an aggressive fighting style, and being reluctant to kill his enemies, though it understands it is necessary. This may end up becoming his greatest weakness, alongside the lack of urgency he sometimes possesses.

Due to his age, many often look up to Tendr’sh as a teacher and, while he tries his best to rely on the knowledge he has gained throughout his studies, when it comes to the ways of the Jedi, he is unfortunately often no help to them.

▵Powers and abilities
As with all other Jedi, Tendr'sh has had telekinesis training from the moment he joined the order, which has furthered his powers in this skill - As a result of his species' natural connection to the force, its basic principles are often taught from a young age on Myrkr, to assist in the Netis' day-to-day tasks. His large size and strength has allowed him to be able to lift large boulders easily and, while he struggles and can only do so for a short time, Tendr'sh has begun the ordeal of practitioning sand levitation. Tendr'sh also hopes that, in the future, he will master the force power 'Plant Surge', due to his strong connection to nature, as a Neti.

Naturally, Netis also have the ability to grow certain body parts at their own will, creating them out of the same bark-like structure that the rest of their body is. Tendr’sh is able to do this to some extent currently, however as time goes on, and through regular practice of the technique, he will be able to grow much more at one time, as well as at a faster rate.

Tendr’sh is proficient in Form V, Djem So, as a result of his hulking size, and therefore his slow, yet powerful movements, which compliment the defensive nature of blocks and parries, as well as the strong counterattacks that the fifth form brings.

Tendr'sh is able to speak both Basic and the Neti fluently, and relies on others and droids to translate his communications into other languages, where possible.

▵Equipment

Tendr'sh's body's composition and shape does not allow him to make use of traditional Jedi robes, as used by the vast majority of the order. Instead, he uses a leather sash, worn across his torso, as a way of carrying his lightsaber and other supplies and equipment. His lightsaber emits an emerald green blade from a hilt he fashioned from metal infused with his own bark, and its crystal obtained from the ice caves on Ilum.
