Arriving at a shipyard in a corvette probably didn't send too much of a message - but arriving at a shipyard in a corvette with a war carrier arriving alongside you was a little bit different. Again, it wasn't threatening so much as it was a quiet showcase of power. The corvette, a capital ship, was nothing but a glorified transport for the High Judge and his allies - the armed and armoured carrier being nothing more than a 'light' escort.

Appearances were often very important.

Dressed in his Sith armour, Evandrus had decided to go without his helmet on this occasion so that those he was dealing with would be able to visually confirm that it was him. Today he was working with a moff - Dwight - that he had personally brought into the fold as it were.

It was rather nice to see that the future of the Empire was not all Sith with their lightsaber drawn and lightning crackling between their fingers.

He nodded to the other Sith as The Skyward Sword docked with the shipyard.

"Dwight." he greeted the other man, "Ready to negotiate?"

It was pretty recent that the ex-Junior Senator of Alderaan came on board with the Sith Empire as a Junior Moff, with him working with Darth Evandrus. Dwight was surprised that he even got the job, but he must have done something right. But all that matters is that he is with Evandrus on board with this diplomatic mission. Dwight Antilles had the pleasure of being on a mighty corvette for the first time. Apparently this ship, the Skyward Sword is the same craft that killed the Jedi Grandmaster and has since then been a big piece piece in Judgement activities. Cool stuff there.

So the journey from Lothal to Abhean went shorter as expected. Dwight thought he had more time to help himself to smoking some rankweed in the privacy in the quarters he was staying in, this was a miscalculation on his part (or he wasn't keeping track of time right), as they came out of hyperspace earlier than expected. And when that happened, Dwight scrambled to get himself ready. He freshened himself up, suited up. His hair was messy though (although it usually is anyway). Other than being a little under the influence, he is good to go. He would then meet up with Lord Evandrus. When asked if he was ready, Dwight would smile widely. "Of course, my Lord. Ready to get going whenever you are." he would accompany with a light chuckle nod and his head towards him. The Alderaanian is feeling energetic today (and it shows) and feels ready to get down to business.

Ah Dwight, the Junior Moff for Lothal.

Well it was hopefully going to go well because he could already tell that the Moff was high. He tilted his head to the side slightly as he regarded the other man. The intoxication wasn't too bad he would admit... which was good. If the Moff had come to a negotiation with him off his head then Evandrus would have taken the man's head off with his blade.

But he was probably only high enough to be loose... which would probably help actually.

"Let's get to the good work then Moff Antilles."

Striding into the Abhean complex, Evandrus and the young Moff were ushered before the owners of the shipyard and representatives of the planet below. Evandrus smiled wide,

"Gentlemen!" He greeted them with a wide smile, "I'll be brief but to the point. I'm not going to waste your time, you're not going to waste mine and we're all going to walk away happy."

He tapped the desk that they were all sat behind,

"Join the Empire." he paused, chuckling a little bit and getting the same response from them before he continued, "We will bring you security, we will bring you work and we will bring you credits. It's simple... but that's the beauty of it! The deal is so simple that what objections could you possibly have?"

There was a pause where the representatives looked between each other and... legitimately couldn't think of any issues right now. Instead, one of them turned back to the duo,

"Interesting proposal... would we be constantly busy?"

Hmmmm, Dwight Antilles usually dislikes being refers to any variation of 'rank-job title' followed by his surname (or being referred to by his last name at all), preferring to just be called by his first name, but the way Evandrus called him 'Moff Antilles' it sounded really cool. Way better than 'Senator Antilles' for sure. So, no complains from him (not that he would air them anyways). Anyways, as per his Lord's instructions, it was time to get to it. "Yes my Lord" he kept his smile on him as he followed along.

Once they reached their destinations, they were before the representatives. All they really need to do is sell this thing and it will be a done deal. That really shouldn't be too hard. The ex-Senator would keep a smile on him as he stood at Evandrus' side as he was taking the center-stage speaking first as Dwight had his hands clasped together in anticipation of the results to come. Really though what Evandrus said was sound. It's hard to not want to do business with the prosperous Empire and so far only one of them came with a simple question. Now it's Dwight's turn, he would speak, still keeping his grin on his face. His youth is especially evident. His eyes are slightly dilated as well. "You would be indeed be constantly busy. Our Empire is expanding, and we will be in need more of ships to protect it. There would be no shortage of work for you guys." he said enthusiastically in an easy going manner and would nod in approval of his own words. Although the representatives might or might not find Dwight's demeanor strange (something if off even if they can't put their finger on it as to why), there wasn't anything wrong with what he said. They don't have a lot of time for this meeting, as far as Dwight can tell they are eating it up and won't take much more to convince them if they aren't.

The representatives seemed to be doing alright with what they were saying for now - indeed it seemed that their combined approach was working rather well. There hadn't been any heavy handed pushing or power plays or whatever. Instead all that had happened was that they had come straight out with what they had to say and then Dwight had confirmed it in the most relaxed way possible so it was all rather of the same tone and pace.

Relaxed and assured.

Still though, it seemed that there was still a little bit extra that needed to be done.

"And we would be protected from your enemies while we work?"

Evandrus fielded this question. To begin with - he just laughed a little bit. Shaking his head a little bit, he smiled wide and bright at the representatives.

"Oh come now, come now my friends!" he declared with a grin, "You should know by now that the Sith Empire doesn't have enemies."

His grin showed too many teeth.

"Enemies is a word used, most often, to describe a group that can threaten you. And I can assure you that between our personal might, our military pressure and the ships you shall field for us?" he smiled more neutrally, "We have no enemies. Only victims and allies."

He didn't say it.

He didn't need to say it.

The representatives shared a look before, one by one, they began to sign the agreement that had been drafted up, confirming that they would be allies rather than victims. With the agreement signed, Evandrus shook hands with the representatives and took the Sith copy of the agreement happily. He nodded to the representatives and left the room with Dwight. He handed the agreement to the young Moff with a smirk,

"I think that went well, don't you?"
