No one know it from looking at him but the unassuming Ishi Tib wearing clothes that wouldn't look out of place on a gardener or custodian was actually a Jedi Master. Drow Venn stood in the grimy coveralls and wide-brimmed hat of a common laborer as he milled about the spaceport waiting for the princess of Eiattu to arrive. It had been a hard campaign to rescue the princess from the clutches of Darth Asminys to begin with and, unfortunately, the journey wouldn't get any easier until she was in the Senate building, ready to come out fully anti-Sith, testify to the abuses her people had suffered and declare the occupation of her world unjust.

It had been a long journey for the princess from Pzob (where Drow had hidden her until today) to Coruscant, especially given that she'd had to forego the usual royal transportation and go with a smuggler. It had been sketchy and cramped but they eventually made their way through the spaceport authority to touch down securely on the landing pad. Drow, leader of the Jedi Shadows and exile that he was, could not be seen milling about openly, hence the disguise. He'd follow the princess securely from a distance until she'd made it to the Senate Rotunda safely but, as an added security message, he'd put out a call to any Sector Ranger or Jedi that might be in the area to escort her to there.

Drow was ever alert as he pretended to be a common street sweeper, ever cognizant of the dangers of Sith operatives, Syndicate opportunists, or just trigger-happy anarchists looking to make their mark. The Jedi had done his best to securely and discretely transport the princess but with a visitor this important, it was entirely possible that news could have leaked.

OOC: Open to anyone, opposition or otherwise.

The Shistavanen ranger growled softly, "Don't be too obviouss, kid." and Jon, eager as he was to do well, quickly moved his hand away from his belt and scratched his head. He had been looking too protective, too eager to pull out his sidearm at the first sight of an attacker. At sixteen he was only a deputy ranger and not allowed to operate solo, which is why the Shistavanen ranger of the Quiberon Sector (to which Pzob belonged) had been tasked to protect the Princess of Eiattu VI on her risky trip to the senate.

Jon was still trying to forget the things he'd read about his father and wondered on which side of this mission he'd be on. Would he have protected her? Kept her safe? Or would he be the one to stand in her way and kill not just her, but also her security detail. The thought of his own father gunning him down made him gulp and he immediately felt the burning eyes of the wolflike veteran ranger on him. "Seems uneventful, Narr-" he shook his head, "-eh, ranger Noft." he noticed the princess that was just five feet away from them smile a little as she overheard him trying his best to sound more mature and professional. Kriff, that was one thing he practised in the mirror that failed already..

Hopefully he was able to out-draw his mirror self when it came to it.

When Akalenedat heard he was to rescue a princess so she could speak out against the Sith. Very quant. Very simple. Kell liked when his debriefing didn't take a whole two minutes- the quicker he was in action, the better. The warrior relished his time spent in combat and made every second count. But this mission would require him to tap into his quiet-lion side of his fighting style and would have to temper stealth over strength.

Kell's job was to act as a janitor of sorts, his armor and weapons inside his ship with his droid, Cleaver. Since no one had ever seen Kell's actual face, his disguise as himself was almost full proof. His wavy brown hair and neatly trimmed beard gave him the perfect janitor sort of look as well. He was simply wiping down counters as he noticed...was that?...No. Way. He knew who his working partners were already, but just the sight of them made his heart race

PREEF CALLO! IT'S PREEF CALLO!! HOLY HELL, IT'S MR. CALLO. OH! OH LOOK AT THAT. It's...DROW VENN! HAPPY DAY! I NEED THEIR AUTOGRAPHS ON MY MOUNTAIN-TOP. Though Kell was gawking over the rodian in his head, he looked as calm and collected as ever- holding back his explosive personality, for now at least. The only weapon he had on him was his grenade launcher he called Mountain-Top, which was kept in a secret compartment inside his large suit-case looking bag that held his "cleaning supplies".

Everyone was in position, now all Kell had to do was wait for the Smash so he could Grab and get off this planet.

The first challenge of the escort team would quickly present itself. Exiting the spaceport doors would find the princess and her protectors on a busy Coruscant boulevard. As with any street of the bustling metropolis, shops were open, people were walking every which way and whether you wanted food, comfort, or a touristy attraction, it could be found within spitting distance.

Needless to say, it was a bodyguard's worst nightmare.

Assassins could be hiding in any number of alleyways, hidey holes or skyscraper windows. Their best bet was to move quickly, inconspicuously and lose themselves in the crowd as they walked.

For her part, the Princess showed no fear as she descended the ramp of the ship that had smuggled her in. One of Drow's YD-security droids was wearing her dress. It was hardly a foolproof disguise but Drow hoped it would fool any snipers into taking a shot at the robot instead of the princess. The princess herself was wearing a drab spacesuit that obscured her face and that any number of beings in the spaceport would be wearing too. Drow had advised her to not speak and to not do anything unusual as she walked.

Drow would linger behind a bit, wanting to stay out of sight and unaware that Akalandat had already identified him.

Narr Noft, the shistavenen ranger stayed close to the dress-wearing YD-droid. His badge shone brightly on his chest and his hands loosely held a rifle as he sniffed and watched out for suspicious persons. The fact that the obvious Sector Ranger was escorting the droid was merely to complete and add to the ruse that someone else had concocted.

Meanwhile the kid, for amongst the Coruscanti crowd Jon Callo could more easily pass as a kid than a deputy ranger, made sure he stayed close to the actual princess and her drab spacesuit. He maintained an open channel with Narr through in-ear communicators. "Seems a bit excessive all this," Jon told the veteran ranger as they all started crossing the busy boulevard and mixed in with the hundreds of sentients and droids going about their daily business. "Aye, word is Pyke syndicate is involved in this," the Shistavanen growled back softly. It was true that the princess had been rumored to be kidnapped by Pyke Syndicate scoundrels and that the ranger intel unit at the Lighthouse HQ had been utterly confused by it. Was the Pyke Syndicate angry with the Sith for letting a much weaker consortium of independent planets take Kessel, despite their previous alliances, or was it a strike back for the Empress killing Preef Callo, who was himself of a different syndicate (although he did save Kessel for the Pykes during a Jedi invasion). "What's their game in pissing off the Empire, then?" Jon asked, but knew that Narr wouldn't be able to answer his question without wild speculation.

Whatever this specific job was, though, and whoever had planned it this way, was one heck of a paranoid undertaking. Surely a princess could just get escorted by Republic starfighters and land right on the senate building? How did that end up to be too risky, and why? Who were they afraid would come and kill the princess?

So the Pykes want to dance with us tonight? Kell chuckled at the thought. He didn't want a fight to break out now as he wasn't garbed in his glorious armor, but if a fight came, a fight came. Kell would still hopefully, most likely win. But a brawl in a bar was not the goal of the mission. They needed to get this princess out of here before shit got real. He kept his eye out for any suspicious characters as he moved his cleaning supplies around the room to 'clean'.

Assassins, if taught well, were extremely difficult to catch. A good assassin should be able to get in, do the job, and get out without any suspicion that it was them. As Kell continued to profile, he wondered if the Pykes actually had an assassin to do such a job. What if they were more of the smash and grab type? Regardless of what was going to happen, they needed to get the noble out of the party before it got crashed.
"We need to make this quick." He said in a hushed tone through his ear piece to others.

Drow continued to navigate throughout the crowd, seamlessly moving and monitoring as he did so. It was hard to say for certain but it seemed as though there weren't any threats on the princess' life today. Drow did not see any glint of sniper rifles in the high rise apartments or alleys of the city streets although that didn't completely eliminate the possibility that someone could be lurking out there. However, for now, no one popped up which was all fine in Drow's mind. As much as he'd like to take apart any would-be Sith assassins, the alternative of having nothing to do was also appealing. Perhaps they were out there but too afraid of making the wrong move with an obviously guarded presence. As the Senate Building came into view, Drow continued to hang back but wouldn't leave the area until she was safely in the hands of the Senate Guardsmen which, as the blue-uniformed individuals made their way across the plaza to meet the interesting party, looked like it would happen soon.
