text notifications

not texting rping not at all.. not even being able to text back to the site. but under notifications i saw the whole notification type: instant thing... and i was like... oh my freaking kidneys yes... so when you subscribe to a thread you have the option of getting a text message that notifies you whenever there is a new post. it doesn't even have to be the post just....

My phone does that by default. If I sign into a gmail account it goes off whenever I receive an email on it.

edit: but not all phones have that kind of option thats why im asking for a more direct route. plus even if every phone could.. i dont want an email every 10 secs about some spammmed weightloss supliment or highschoolreunion.com or some bull-larky

The only thing I use is the New Posts function.

OH MY GOD I FIGURED IT OUT... OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. I DID IT.

SOOOOOO get your phone out...

Your phones out? Okay.
Now get your email up.- Email up? okay.

Now text your email from your phone.(yes you can do this) and check it on your computer. Now reply to it and see if it goes back to your phone. Now repeat once to make sure it works both ways again without changing the address that it sends from....

Change default email to that.... Subscribe to threads with an instant email notification....
