Cato Neimoidia. It had become the focus of Renfry's attention in recent days. She'd wasted enough time in recent days just... puttering around. She was tired of it and she was tired of floundering. With clarity of mind and a new goal, she'd brought her ship back to Cato Neimoidia and set to work.

Renfry had decided this was a weird world. The acid oceans were... well, acid oceans, and the fact that all of the cities were built on bridges suspended over acid oceans was odd. On the bright side, the weather was nice and temperate and the people were decent enough. In fact, she was probably the worst thing on this world, and she was on the hunt.

Work to deal with the planet's Senator was already underway, and she had decided that her next step was to deal with the parties who had influence on the planet: criminals and megacorporations that should have been criminals.

The latter of those was what she was here for. The trick was actually getting a meeting with the executives. One couldn't just walk in off the street with nothing and get a meeting with the powers that be, after all.

So down the street she walked, breathing deeply of the fresh air as she thumbed through her datapad, reading the latest on the executives and changes announced by the corporation. Rivalry is opportunity, she thought to herself. And there were rivalries growing, it seemed.

There were things of value on Cato Neimoida, this Coven was sure of. The centuries old Clone Wars gear that littered the valleys and crevices around the great bridge cities were certainly valuable, from a certain point of view. While most assuredly interesting, Coven wouldn't be here if it wasn't common knowledge that the Jedi had served alongside the Clones in the Clone Wars. He had spent the better part of a month here searching through the dirt collecting old pieces of gear, patiently searching for some possibly lost Jedi artifacts.

Aside from a few close calls with still active munitions, it was peaceful work. He was being paid based on the gear he brought in to the local museums and collectors, with extra dividends for anyone who bothered to deal with the unexploded munitions or still semi-active droids from the local government.

There was no luck on the Jedi artifact front however, and the constant belligerence of the ghosts in his mind were making sure that he wouldn't stick around in the relative peace and quiet, much to his own chagrin. He would happily spend his whole life digging through sites like this, if only his traitorous thoughts would let him.

He was wandering the streets with a bag full of a few trinkets, clone trooper helmets, a crusty rifle and several useless droid parts. They were all damaged beyond repair by reasonable folk, but he was usually able to find buyers for the trinkets with a little bit of persuasion.

As usual he was hidden in the force, just another face in the crowd. He was however, not expecting anyone to be looking for him, and so if you knew what to look for, his very lack of presence made him stand out from the crowd. He whistled a gentle tune as he wandered down the street, lightsaber tapping against his thigh with each step, taking in his last day on the planet as best he could.

Renfry came to a halt in front of the building she had been looking for: Rothtar Industries. She looked up at the building with its name plastered on the side, reaching up to blot out the sun.

No pressure, she thought to herself. Her eyes scanned down from the upper floors to the lower floors, taking in the security measures and the ways in which she could enter unseen. A true break in would be better at night, but she wasn't sure that she wanted to do anything so brash. There were many ways to skin a nerf.

You may not even have to set foot inside, she muttered to herself. Her eyes swept once more around the street around her for anything that seemed out of place: extra guards, cameras, police, or... Jedi?

It was a rare thing for someone to walk around with a lightsaber slapping their thigh in public unless they were Jedi, particularly inside Republic space. She frowned and watched him for a moment. If there were Jedi here then perhaps it was better to confront the issue directly. Or perhaps he was simply a scavenger who had found a lightsaber. After all, it looked like he had a large sack filled with old, Clone Wars-era weapons and equipment.

She made her way over to him, stopping directly in the path he intended to walk but with enough space so he wouldn't run into her.

Is that a real lightsaber?! she asked excitedly, easily putting on a show of being a star struck girl in her early twenties who just wanted the thrill of seeing a real Jedi weapon. It was a good enough option to not bring attention to herself and gain some information all at the same time.

Coven continued his whistling, weaving between people absentmindedly. The voices were quiet, which was a nice change, if not a little disconcerting. It was a rare occasion that he didn't have something talking in his head at any one time. For now though, it was just him and his thoughts.

He almost weaved around a young woman who stood right in his path. His mind was simply elsewhere, with his body operating on auto-pilot, only kicking back to reality once he realized he was actually being addressed. His whistling stopped abruptly with a sharp shrill note, and he did a momentary impression of a fish with wide eyes and a mildly agape mouth.

"Ah, yes." He should be hidden from notice, he berated himself. Where did he go wrong? He plucked the saber off his belt, careful to keep the projector upwards and away from anyone else and displayed it for the curious girl. At the same time, he let out an alarmed probe into the force, hoping to gauge who it was he was talking too. "Might, I ask your name Miss?" Coven asked politely.

Something about this felt off, but while Coven had always been good at deciphering what he was directly looking for in the Force, the vague feelings and premonitions it gave were always arcane puzzles he could never really riddle out. This was one such occasion, and so in a rare moment of indecision, Coven didn't know how to proceed.

Oh, does that mean you're a Jedi?! she asked, continuing to play her role and pretending she was far too excited to have noticed his question that she didn't want to answer.

Oh, will you turn it on? Please!? Just for a moment! she asked excitedly. The instant she saw the color she'd know what she needed to know about him and either have to distract him, kill him, or perhaps even recruit him into what she was doing.

Or perhaps still, he was simply a scavenger and nothing more. A person who happened to find a Jedi's weapon among the rubble. And yet, she somehow doubted that. She had the impression that he was measuring her up just as much as she was measuring him. That wasn't something she'd expect from a scavenger... but then, they did live rough lives as well. @Shax

Initially Coven wanted to write the girl off as perhaps a bit socially clueless, because really, who just accosts someone with questions on the street? Then he thought that perhaps she was just a history enthusiast like himself, perhaps knowing a bit too much about ancient weaponry. But asking about the Jedi, while not an impossible occurrence as the Jedi were a public organization, put up some red flags. It wasn't common knowledge what a Jedi was, at least beyond some stories of the rebellion and the resistance, but if this girl knew what a Jedi was, it wasn't too great a stretch to say she knew what the Sith were.

He looked to the left and right, gauging how much of a crowd was around them. The various species had thinned out fortunately, but he still took a few steps to the right before igniting his saber, the classic red of the Sith. He held it before him pointed upwards, not aggressively, but still in front of him just in case the girl suddenly started a rabid uncontrolled attack at what could possibly be an enemy of the Jedi. He really didn't know if Jedi fangirls exist, but he had been to a few concerts and other popular events in his time, and some of those people were wild.

"I'm no Jedi, sorry to say miss." 'You wish!' a voice in his head barked out a laugh, breaking the peanut galleries' silence before just as quickly returning to it. "Again, might I know your name?" He wouldn't say he was being menacing, but he did put a bit more force, a bit more guff and hutzpah into his words as his saber buzzed a low note.

And that was what she hoped to know. A red blade was quite telling to her. There was little chance he'd found a Sith blade in the Clone Wars wreckage, and he certainly wasn't a Jedi. Perhaps he was still some sort of scavenger, but she found that unlikely.

Ah, a Sith, then, she said, quiet enough for others nearby not to hear. Her tone of voice had changed entirely and the act she had been putting on melted away and was replaced by a far calmer, measured tone.

Renfry, she responded quietly, finally giving her name. And yours? she asked. He wasn't anyone she had met in the Order before, but that wasn't saying much.

Are you here on business, she asked, glancing down at all of his scavenged gear and equipment he carried. Or can I lure you into helping me with a... project? she asked. If he wasn't a Sith, she'd figure it out pretty quickly, and if he was... well, then all the better. @Shax

"Coven." He really had to applaud the act, he had some pointers on what she could do better next time, he was a aficionado of theatre after all. But that was neither here nor there. 'You just don't want to admit being confused by this tiny girl!' a voice called, and a swift mental kick between the legs of the ghost shut it right up. Renfry wasn't that tiny, and when it came to beings who knew what the Sith were and in turn, weren't terrified, it was best to not even contemplate insulting things in the safety of your own mind. You never knew who was listening.

He deactivated his Lightsaber and placed it back on his belt without looking away from Renfry. "My business is never done, and yet I'm always more than willing to assist beautiful ladies, such as yourself." Flattery was never a poor option when dealing with unknowns. "Of course, I also find myself curious, what kind of project are you working on? And may I presume you are a member of the order yourself?" By the order of course, he meant the Sith, but he wasn't going to complain if she confirmed her allegiance to the order of song and dance.

Renfry gave a nod to his name and a smile to his complement. Sincere or not, complements were always nice, but she knew what they could easily hide. Or perhaps she was just naturally suspicious.

You're too kind, she said, glancing back toward the building across the street. She didn't know what he was here to do, but he seemed willing to help, and that was a step in the right direction.

I am, she confirmed, And I'm here to try to get something out of there, she said, nodding toward the building across the street.

And deliver it somewhere else without drawing attention or making a fuss, she said. She had no idea what this man's skills were, but he seemed perfectly competent to work alone, so he could probably work with someone else, right?

You interested? she asked, wary to make sure that no one else was listening. @Shax

Coven smiled widely, relaxing somewhat but still on guard. Working with Sith regardless of their intentions towards you was stressful, and often hazardous to your health. Still though, this sounded like it was shaping up to be a heist in the making! And of all the things Coven has done, stealing something from a corporation had not yet entered on that list. How Exciting!

"I will never turn down the opportunity to redistribute items from other people, to us." He had stolen ships, aircars, jewelry, if he was a bit more self-reflective on the subject, he was a bit of a kleptomaniac. He jingled his sack of stuff to drive home his point, "So, what is it we are looking to acquire? And are you against simply acting like you belong in the building in order to find what you are looking for?" He asked half jokingly. Funnily enough, he had managed to steal three separate ships with that method, or ate least, make it onto the ships without being stopped. So it wasn't in his mind, unviable to just act like you own the place until you find what you need.

Her gaze turned back to the building. Getting into R&D within the building wouldn't be easy, but if they could find a way to force the building to vacate...

There's technical data I want to extract. Can you create a distraction? she asked, looking over at him. It was a "simple" plan, but one that may prove more difficult to actually accomplish.

She knew how to get herself inside the building, hidden, and in secret, but doing it with everyone watching and looking for her would be more difficult.

I should be able to smuggle myself inside past the chaos, she said, looking back at him. She really needed to start planning things out more rather than flying by the seat of her pants all the time. @Shax
