Outer Rim, Horuset System, Korriban, Sith Academy
13:45

The sun was high in sky casting shadows on the great pyramid of the sith, the wind carried red sand through the valley of the dark lords. Azûzdus slowly walked to the entrance ignoring acolytes who starred at his sudden appearance. " Finally i am here" - His thoughts boomed in his head. Entrance to the academy was majestic view to behold. Two giant statues holding the base of academy with a stairs leading to the entrance in the middle. " No doubt some ancient Sith lords or their slaves" - He muttered as he pass them. Inside of the Academy was huge chamber with walls and corridors which are engraved with hieroglyphic scripture of ancient sith.

Azûzdus was standing what seamed to him like a whole eternity. It was just not what he expected. It took him some time until he found the Overseers that welcome him to the academy. He gave him small data pad containing the layout of the academy. " This is your room in the west wing, you may use it for your duration and life here. " - He pointed to the data pad and smiled as he spoke. First he noticed that he said his life. Azûzdus eyes glowed with red surge as his anger boiled inside him. " They expect him to not survive the academy." - His thoughts full with anger. He reach towards the lightsaber but stopped since he remember that there are others here, a more powerful siths.

Vlatkat peered past the blowing sand and piercing heat, the desert beginning to work it's hands a crossed his stark white skin. His eyes scanned over the towering monoliths and sacred dark relics that adorned the skyline, and he smiled. It was strange. Korriban was such a detestable landscape, riddled with inhospitable wastelands that made even the worst and hardest man feel humbled by its wrath. But though it was a place of such discomfort, especially to a nautolan like himself, it was here amongst the malevolent auras and powers of the dark lords that he truly felt at home. He had earned his place here, fought for his seat within the Sith with tooth and claw, and he cherished it dearly.

He was here for sholarly purposes, researching a bit of Sith knowledge that he could find in the Sith archives. Who knows, he might even offer to teach some students while he was there, he thought. He was in a generous mood he supposed. He strode briskly past a group of acolytes shuffling by in meditation, nodding. As he walked up towards the entrance of the towering temple, he noticed a lone acolyte bring his hand to his hilt. Vlatkat raised an eyebrow, then tsked to himself as he saw him draw away from it again. He walked up beside him silently, then turned to the initiate without warning, as if the thought had just occurred to him to speak.

"Did you actually plan on using that thing?"
Vlatkat asked mischievously, nodding to the saber at his side. "If not, then there would be no point in grabbing for it. To threaten another Sith is to threaten his honor, and to goad him to fight you regardless of whether you wished for bloodshed or not. That is one thing you will have to learn here, boy. Don't challenge someone unless you mean to follow through with it, and don't do so bluntly. Empty threats could get you killed." He chuckled, his deep red eyes looking over the initiate freely. "Just a bit of advice. Take it as you will."

"Just a bit of advice. Take it as you will."

The voice coming from behind him. The guy had white skin with no hair but tentacles sprouting from his head. His dark red eyes observing him

" Dead don't have honor." - He replied to the thing. His reaction is amused that somebody has actual approached him for thinking of killing someone." The Overseer is week, you could sense that from mile away. They hold no meaning to the sith, only to show you the way and do meaningless task. "

" Who are you?" - He shoot the question towards the being in front of him.

All around him the academy was busy with life nobody noticing their conversation.

"Dead don't have honor."

"Tell that to the ghosts when they haunt your dreams, boy." He said with an abnormal warmth. He listened intently Azûzdas spoke again, biting his lip. Such little regard for manners, he thought. It was normal for many initiates to be this forward. Either that or be so incredibly reclusive to the point of becoming a social oddity. He actually preferred the forward ones. It at least showed a need for ambition and assertion, if unrefined. It was something that could be worked with and honed into something stronger. He also knew that such aggression was dangerouse if not dealt with quickly. People didn't deal with people that they didn't like here very well. They killed things they didn't like. Admirable or not, his quick temper needed to be put in check. The fact that he had chosen not to kill the overseer showed he had at least some hope.

Vlatkat looked over the other Siths shoulder, glancing at the man behind him. "I do apologize for this." He turned back to Azûzdas. "Vlatkat Itu, Sith." He placed both hand in his hips, then looked Azûzdus up and down again. "How old are you exactly?

Hearing a man apologies was strange. It showed him that he had manners but still he wonder how did he become sith. The man turn towards him and ask- "How old are you exactly?. Then proceed to examine Azûzdus.

Seeing a interest in man he remove his hood totally revealing his face and his race to him.

" I am only 24. And my name is Azûzdus, Sith." - He replay to the man question with pride. His eyes looking straight at his. He was such a strange sith. He continue to speak -" My master preferred living outside of the academy deep in the dessert." - He raised his hand towards the way out of academy and beyond valley of the sith lords.

"Well Azûzdus, I will be the first one to tell you that things are a bit different here than they are in the desert." He said slyly, though inwardly he wondered to himself who in the galaxy would want to live out in that barren wasteland. "There will be at least seven people wondering if they should try to kill you at any given moment you are here, and being like that is only going to make surviving harder on you. Unless, of course, a life of misery was what you wanted, in which case ignore any advice I have given you on staying alive." He turned to walk up the steps, well aware of the confusion coming from Azûzdus. Vlatkat was strange for a Sith, he knew that, but it was his strangeness that had kept him alive so long. Stay quiet, stand tall, don't fight unless you have to, and when you have to fight without mercy. Otherwise he might have died long ago. "So, Azûzdus, who is this master of yours? I doubt I know him, though its possible."

He followed Vlatkat with his gaze as he turned to walk up to the steps. " The Strong will survive and the week will die. It is the nature of the Sith." - he said in casual tone indicating that he has learned that from young age.

"I don't know my master name. He never bothered to tell me. " - He replayed to the man question. The memories of carnage appeared in the back of his mind. Being only survivor was not without consequences. Learning to survive under tutelage of the Sith master was harsh. Constant battle for survival.

" What brings you here to this Academy.?" - He asked returning from his memories almost looking dazed by the minor memory flashback.

Vlatkat tilted his head to the side in curiosity, brushing one of his white tendrils to the side. "Well that's odd." He thought aloud, wondering why his master would not tell Azûzdus his name.

"Why are you here at this Academy?"

"Oh, just a bit of a scholars fancy. I have a bit of research I'm doing regarding a certain artifact. It is of utmost importance to me. The tome contains sacred writing that details ancient Sith teachings, Sith enlightenment found in the first days of the order. Some excerpts may even contain the words of Ajunta Pall himself."
He spoke with a kind of excited reverence that was uncharacteristic for his age. He was truly excited by these things, for he had searched for it for months now. Vlatkat had other duties to attend to of course, what with a talk of war and battles already beginning to catch fire. But everyone has a hobby at one point in their life, and Vlatkat was no different. "It has been lost for so long, taken into custody by another Sith Lord who fled when the Jedi overthrew the first empire. I think I may find something here that could give me a clue as to where he may have gone."

Being the lover of ancient history and old artifact of great power he was surprised when man spoke of one of the first fallen Jedi that arrived here on his homeworld. It would be great deal to find it and who knows what secrets it holds. It would be wise to seek it out.

" Do you mind any help then ?" - He asked casual.

"Well, if it's all the same to you, I tend to become something of a recluse when I'm working. Of course, that's probably not very healthy behavior. I'm sure you can tag along. I could show you around while I'm at it." Vlatkat winked at him slyly. "Just don't expect anyone else to be so kind." Inwardly, Vlatkat was instantly on the defensive. He had been the one to work for this, not anyone else. Vlatkat knew that a new Sith like this one might try and steal information about the artifact and locate it himself in order to establish a reputation. That was not going to happen. Of course, it was also entirely possible Azûzdus was genuinely interested with no malicious intent whatsoever, but Vlatkat had learned early to never give a Sith the benefit of the doubt. He would just have to play this by ear. All of these thoughts went through his head without a single outward hint at his dilemma. He was, demonstratively, quite good at hiding his calculation under a friendly smile.

(OOC: sorry for the wait, totally forgot to post.)

"Just don't expect anyone else to be so kind."

The words were interesting. The sith has agreed to take him with him. Finally a opportunity to learn something more and the artifact was tempting. Having that side of himself for learning he was eager for it, some would say to eager. But seeing that the sith was little bit on defensive he understood the fear of loosing such prized thing. But power is everything.

His facial expression changed to smile as he said : " Sure i would gladly tag along, You don't meet such a friendly sith every day."

"Can you tell me more of the thing you are looking for ?" - He asked barely containing the excitement in his voice.
