The Jedi, in their misguided quest to cleanse "evil" from the galaxy, have been discovered scouting out planets just outside the borders of Sith space, and are now planning to set up a permanent base on the edge of our territory. An aggressive action of this kind is something we simply cannot allow to happen. Show them the folly of provoking the Sith Brotherhood.

Welcome to the very first main battle of the Dawn of the Republic timeline! The Jedi have completed the requisite missions and have declared their intent to invade and capture the square of R6 (map found here.) As you can imagine, this would not be in our best interests. As such, and since we have also completed missions in that square, we are contesting their claim.
Now! How will this whole thing work? Well, since they have the most missions completed in the contested square, they get to choose whether the battles will take place on the ground, in space or a mixture of the two, and whether they want to defend or attack. So what do you need to do? Simply post down below, using the template at the end of this post, to sign up and participate in this conflict.
The way this will work is simple. There will be three main battle threads, each of which will be a 2v2. The faction that wins two of the three battles will capture the region. As always, the Manaan Rules will be in effect for these threads, which means a two week time limit on the thread and a 48 hour time window in which to post once your turn comes up. These rules can be found in section V of the Roleplaying Rules thread. I recommend you read them.
Be aware that this is NOT first come, first serve. Sign-ups will be open until Sunday at the earliest. We will be working with the Jedi leadership to match people up as evenly as we can, so that each thread is as fair as possible. If you're chosen you will be matched up against people of the same skill level as you, so don't worry if you've got little or no PvP experience.
