Just to clarify, you’re moving in the opposite direction of the NPCs who are heading directly at the captial and flanking correct?

The NPC main force would be heading straight for the front door (our 12 o’clock) and I’m heading left (our 8-9 o’clock).

I first went backwards a little (6 o’clock) to be more specific, and then went left (8-9 o’clock), but only to go around a building. Mostly just went left.

Vorr has remained with Essien the entire way, he's just directed the attack forward who have opened fire on the defenders.

I found a gif dump of 5-6 parts of that trailer when the battle opens and went “oh how can I not use this” lol

@Taz I'm not going to nitpick, but I'd just like to make sure I don't get taken advantage of here.

In my first post, I went behind a building. That would probably make it hard for you to see me there, through the building. In my second post, I moved back, away from you, around a corner, into an alleyway, hiding behind cover, moving left, away from the battle, multiple objects/buildings now having potentially broken your sightline (assuming you're watching me through the building to start with). Even if your starting point, your perch atop a building, was the highest building by far in the area, I don't think you could see us, just as we haven't seen you.

In your latest post, it sounds like you're saying you saw us in your rifle's scope and watched us leave. Then you leap from building to building in our general direction. I'm assuming this means that you lose sight of us in the process? since you can't keep watch and jump in and out of buildings at the same time?

My point in all this is just to come to an agreement that it may be little harder to track us than the way you're depicting it so far.

I can make some edits and be a bit more descriptive, i was a little rushed due to the late hours.

My effort was to mostly say Dax noticed the break away and surmised a flank. His moves are supposed to be in time with yours and using the sound od the battle to cover his use of the jetpack

No problem. I won’t abuse the sound of your jetpack. The battle is loud. And shared time is totally cool. I’m just wary about being seen so easily, especially when from the start I moved out of sight. I’d just feel better having expressed that I would think nobody really knows where anybody is.

edits made. Should hopefully seem more like an educated guess, while still not knowing where or when you'll strike @Styx.

Also just a heads up. I'll be out of contact all of Saturday and hit and miss the rest of the holiday weekend.

Map-Turn-3.jpg

  • Sith Troopers
  • Mandalorians
  • Essien
  • Vorr
  • Dax
  • Juulius

So I know our situation is about to get weedy and confusing, so I figured I'd put something together to give us a shared understanding of the situation as it is presently revealed. This is the map as I presently understand it. I can edit it if something is off, but this is basically what I see, and I'll elaborate on my turn and the present situation.

EVENTS SO FAR

The Mandalorian's had hidden and exposed positions, the further back are the ones they had exposed. When the Imperials approached they opened fire on the exposed positions, which the Mandalorians (Led by Juulius) sprung a trap upon, engaging them now in close quarters.

The Sith Platoon has forward elements that are presently engaged (and likely losing) in close quarters combat in the trap lane that the Mandalorians set up. The rear of them are taking cover and returning fire, but are likely pinned down due to walking right into the trap.

As this has happened Vorr and Essien have moved through buildings to the 3 o'Clock of the battle with a squad of Troopers. Simultaneously Dax is preparing an over watch position very nearby.

Neither of the two Sith nor Dax are aware of each others exact location, or size of their element, but both suspect there is something coming.

Vorr has now ordered his troopers, on the second floor of their bombed out building, to fire on the Mandalorian ambush. As you can see they are far off, but do have an element of surprise.

PLAYER LOCATIONS

Juulius - In the heart of the Mandalorian ambush force squaring off toe to toe with Imperial Troopers, at the center of the trap lane leading to the capital buildings.

Dax - 2nd Floor of a building to the 3 oclock of Capital, acquiring a firm sniping position. He is concealed and prepared.

Vorr & Essien - 1st Floor of an almost adjacent building of Dax, concealed and covered, waiting while the squad in the floor above them fires from a concealed position at the Mandalorians in the center

- Hopefully this helps and if it is not as you see it please let me know.

ok just a couple of things. One, Dax should be more at Juulius direct 3 o'clock on the map. But if we all are clear as to Dax's ability to at and cover his partner I don't think it required and edit on the map or in the post. Just that it's clear Dax as a clear vantage point as I intended in my post.

Second, and this is more important. Neither of our NPC and be used on the players. We've been using them heavily for flavoring but as I think we are getting down to business in the next posts, I wanted to make sure that @Styx and @Morse are aware of the rule that we cannot use the NPC to attack each other.

As we start to engage one another I recommend we start to weed out using the NPC's much more to reduce confusion during PvP actions.
