"Stop."

Augustus had never truly opposed Beric when he had been a Jedi. He had recognised that the chain of command placed Beric above him. Now, this was no longer the case. He wasn't going to let Beric take charge now. Or ever. He had seen the damage, the pain... the blood, that that had led to before. Not again.

"Here is fine, we're going nowhere."

He removed his glare from Beric. It should be clear to the man that he had called his friend that this was not his moment to lead. It was not his plan. He was here because Augustus had wished it; he would follow, not lead.

"If you are as senior as you claim, then you will suffice."

He was tempted to throw another glare at Beric. His anger growing, and burning dimly within him.

"And it is me to whom you need to speak."

Beric ignored the Sith. Their words were wind on the breeze, nothing more. They loved to show how much power they held. As such, it cut them more when their power was in doubt. He held out a hand, deftly stopping the staff in mid air, returning it to himself. Augustus had stopped him. Stopped his Grandmaster, Stopped his friend, from acting. A low move. But clever, a ploy to show power to the Sith, to make them more likely to acquiesce to Beric and Augustus' words. But then he processed the words, the intent, the inflection, the feel of them.

He turned to Augustus, hearing the anger, suppressed deep, like a lid over an undersea vent, rattling slightly, but held. That made him stop. He had a moment of clarity, a realisation of what Augustus felt about Beric. Beric had lain waste to a city. He had heartlessly slaughtered countless innocents. No... he had no right to lead this mission. He had no right to lead ever again. How could a man like him inspire others into following him.

''So be it, Leonus.''

The words were cold, emotionless, his face a dour mask.

[OoC: sorry for showing up so late to the party, heh]

The wealthiest planet in the Galaxy was still chilly, she thought. Andelka pulled her robes closer to her body and stalked towards the buildings in the distance. She knew Arcturus was here, as well as a few other Sith. She didn't hold it against him for defeating her in the tournament, however she was told she was lucky for walking away with her life.

Things were quiet back on Korriban these days, yet here she found herself on Mygeeto, for reasons unknown to her. She went were ever the Force beckoned for her to go, she would become the most powerful Sith in the Galaxy, and nothing would stop her from accomplishing her goals.

Up ahead, she could see movement. She palmed the hilt of her dual bladed lightsaber, and closed her eyes, letting Force Sight come over her in a wave. Arcturus was there, and a few others she couldn't distinguish. She wished no ill upon him, for he was equally matched to her, she was weak back then, she couldn't muster the strength nor courage to kill him.

'Arcturus,' she breathed, her breath coming out in cold puffs.

Being a Warrior Crusader had its perks, for one she could leave the temple without anyone caring. Her Acolyte could go a day or two without her.

Augustus nodded slowly at Beric. This was a turning point in their relationship; the balance of power had been firmly torn down, and another portion of the friendship and trust between them torn asunder. One day, if Augustus survived long enough, he would have to attempt to make amends. Yet another thing he had to do before he allowed himself to perish.

Sometimes he wondered if this was all there was to life, simply fixing the next mistake on an ever growing list.

He snapped out of his momentary reverie as he noticed a new presence. He couldn't read it very well, with it being quite distant, and his strengthin the force being somewhat sub-par for a man of his age. Though he couldn't say for sure whether it was Sith or not, only a fool would assume that it wasn't.

Another piece to juggle then. With every passing second, the once-battlemaster grew ever less certain of his plan. And, more importantly, his chances of surviving this encounter without taking ever greater risks. He sighed inwardly. There was little he could do now save for keep going. Which was exactly what he planned to do.

"Well, Sith? Are you ready to talk, or do you still wish to stall me? Are there anymore of your order that you might call to your side, or do you feel secure enough now?"

" Please, dont kill me" the man cried out, with the barrel of Conners pistol pressed firmly into his temple. Conner quirked his armored head while staring at the man whose four guards lay eviscerated behind him by the bloody sword still held in Conners left hand. He holstered his pistol and sniffed the air, the poor guy had wet himself in fear, Conner then turned and took a step away. He paused and then rapidly swung his sword back and through the mans throat releasing a spray of blood. " Sorry man but I have a reputation to keep" he spoke as his targets eyes rolled into the back of his head. Conner then turned and walked out of the building and onto the busy street.

The belligerent one had been given the political 'shut up' by the other one? Interesting. Arcturus began to recalculate the situation, turning away from Beric and facing Augustus instead. Beric, by his act of insulting his host before negotiation even began, such that his companion had taken the reigns from him, had shown himself undeserving of the polite respect Arcturus had afforded him due to his former position. And so, he solely addressed Augustus.

And then, of course, another presence made itself known. Arcturus frowned softly at the appearance of a third Sith. When one offers a guest privacy and confidentiality, one hopes they might remain uninterrupted. That was apparently not the case here. He would just have to cope with it for now.

"Your presence calls them here, not I. Now, I suggest we speak in private. This is a planet of profit. Individual words are worth nothing, but..." he trailed off, giving a meaningful look to Augustus.

And then, of course, a sudden sensation of loss. He hadn't noticed previously, but previously there wasn't such a burst of primal fear. People died every day, but groups of people didn't generally die at once. Especially not on an imperial mining world. Arcturus brought his left inner wrist closer to his face, revealing a small wrist-comm.

"Dex, recon. Search parameters..." He trailed off into a series of numbers, in the general direction the feeling was coming from. This place had a very low crime rate, and if a group of people suddenly died of violent means, there may be a problem. Above them, on the roof of the administrator building, a black-armored droid could be seen looking down at them briefly before disappearing into a wisp of nothingness, using an advanced cloaking device. Unseen, it made it's way to the search coordinates via the rooftops, cannons armed and set to stun.

((If you want me to edit/delete Arc, tell me, I don't mind ;)))
Mira stood silent as the third Sith entered the mix, she had seen her coming from afar off but had not recognized her for the powerful Sith Crusader she was till she approached. This girl, she knew the higher ranking Sith between them personally to call him by first name, interesting.

Suddenly, Mira felt the death along with Arcturus. Reaching out with the Force as Arcturus spoke, Mira saw the machine that disappeared on the administrative building. A cloaking device could not hide anything from the keen sight of Mira, who had spent nearly her entire life seeing through the Force. Turning her head to face upwards, she asked to no specific Force User around them.
"Fancy a challenge?"

Immediately, Mira surged the Force to her legs and leapt upwards, propelling herself part of the way up the administrative building. Latching her hand in a window, she surged again and leapt again. In scarcely four leaps she had reached the rooftop.

There was another Sith, Mira Albion. Andelka hadn't heard much about her, but as soon as she had caught sight of her, Mira had scaled the building and was soon at the top. Andelka decided to follow here. Where as it took Mira four bounds, it took Andelka one. Force Jump was one of her mastered powers.

'You're Mira Albion, are you not?'

Andelka watched the scene below, wondering how Arcturus was going to handle it.

'What brings you to Mygeeto?'

She palmed the hilt of her blade as she leaned against the building, watching Mira with casual eyes.

Mira sighed as she reached the top, the machine could handle the job given to him and Arcturus could handle the former Jedi without her presence. Turning to face the second Sith that effortlessly cleared the building in a single leap, Mira smiled.
"I am, as for visiting Mygeeto, I needed to speak with Arcturus. What about you, I've heard rumors about you, Andelka I presume?"

The girl's name, while having escaped Mira earlier, came back to mind in a moment of epiphany. Andelka was a very mysterious Sith. While it was true that most Sith were 'mysterious,' most were quite uninteresting and their 'mysteries' not worth uncovering. Unlike Andelka.
