What is going to happen in your plot? The plan is to steal a Medium Military Deflector Shield by attacking a shipment containing it.
What other players will be a part of this? Me and @KinkyPrawn will participate.
Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place? In space in the vicinity of Exoleen (Sector N-12) and aboard the vessel carrying the shipment.
Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. Exoleen recently seceded from the Empire and no longer enjoys the same protection as before, neither possessing the same intimidating name nor the military power as before. The characters will, if all goes according to plan, first eliminate the fighters protecting the shipment headed to the planet. The second step would be to board the vessel and secure the shield.
What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"? The hope is to acquire the Military Deflector Shield and have it installed on the Hellion (the ship belongs to @KinkyPrawn whom's permission have been granted).
Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose. The plot will be self-DMed.

Approach the shipment with the goal of boarding it. It will most likely have some kind of escort which will have to be defeated.

2.
Board the vessel carrying the shield and defeat what resistance there is inside it. Take the shield.

I hope that's an alright plan. Since I want the threads to be self-DMed, do you have a rough idea of how much resistance we need to create for ourselves in order for it to be fair?

Well you could either do that or have them jumped when they're trying to attach the part to the ship? Either way works for me :D

I think it gives you more chance to encounter so tension to make for good banter! :D

That makes sense. After asking my teammate, it seems like we'll be saving the alternate suggestion for another occasion though. I very much appreciate your advice and hope to use it if I ever do any similar plots again! :D

I would like to add an amendment to the plot. @KinkyPrawn wants a Taim & Bak Quad Cannon which is also to be installed on the Hellion's turret along with the medium Military deflector shield which I've requested. The upgraded power source will be earned through another plot.

@KinkyPrawn will participate in all three threads. I believe it would fit thematically to find a Quad Cannon aboard the shipment we're raiding since it already contains a military grade ship part.

Yeah no this one is on me as I should have picked up on it >.<

It is gaming the system really so you can have the shield added to YOUR ship but not his.

Kinky can still have his reward from this plot be an upgrade to his ship however since it's his reward for his work in the plot

I'd recommend you simply change it so that you get some other piece of advanced tech (like a gun or grenades or something) and he can get the cannons

Yeah, my character doesn't have a ship at the moment, but perhaps we could change the shield generator to something else like you suggested. I've had my eyes on this H4 droid for a while which requires at least 2 threads, so perhaps I could take it instead of the shield generator to avoid gaming the system?

Make sure Kinky removes the shield upgrade from his ship and edit the completed plot thread - no need to post anything, just make the edits
