Well it seemed nothing on Yavin 4 would go according to plan. Even though Palas did give a great speech the Massassi warriors still flooded out of the gates and charge the three Sith’s. ”Fools.” Palas said while swinging his saber at the first warrior to come within striking distance. There were a lot of them, enough to worry Palas who decided it was best to listen to the Twe’lek and continue moving back. Making sure no Massassi snuck behind him and giving him the opportunity to focus on the group directly in front of him. One charged with a spear, Palas quickly rolled out of the way. Allowing the spear head to get stuck in the dirt and finishing the warrior with a horizontal strike across his torso.

The three Sith continued to slash and hack its way through the resistance until there retreat back within the walls of the compound. In front of the gates now laid dozens of fallen Massassi warriors, some were missing arms or legs. Others were completely cut in half or decapitated. Palas unmoved by the carnage him and his comrades had laid out, continued charging forward into the compound, not even looking back to see if the other two would follow.

Cinder could not help but to just feel… ecstatic. One after the other the Massassi rushed out of the their defendable position and into the wide open area to be met with Imperial blaster fire and Sith lightsaber blades.

The Massassi were powerful creatures indeed; spears, axes, rocks even bare fists. The brutes came at the Sith with everything they had.

One after the other they were cut down, Cinder was carefully and methodical in his slaughter, always positioning himself to tunnel the slaves so they would come at him one at the time. Had the brutes the mind to think of enough of a strategy they could have offered adequate opposition to the imperials. But they only relied on their rage and raw power. In a way it made them true creatures of the Dark Side, but at the same time it simply made them too easy to deal with.

The Sith would have to be thorough, until only slaves too scared to ever move against the empire remained, the massacre had to be absolute and efficient. As much as Cinder the melody and dance of slaughter and combat, to give too much of a fighting chance to the Massassi would just risk kindling their hope and fighting spirit, letting the entire mission drag on longer. Not this would have to be quick and very painful.

As the Sith and Imperial troops began to push forward into the slave camp Cinder gestured at the walls of the compound. “Take position on the walls, shoot from above!” The Sith acolyte ordered some of the Imperial troopers, before he began to rush back into the fray.

If the Imperial soldiers could successfully take the high ground, a few other men and Sith would easily take over the rest of the camp and once and for all put an end to this slave rebellion.

Thelemy was not one who reveled in bloodshed and slaughter, to him the act of killing was one of returning those who were given life by the force, back to its embrace. The twi'lek trusted in it to guide his hand, utilizing a mentality similar to shii-cho, in his application of Niman. A bit of everything, meant to round out weaknesses that his force abilities could not be used to compensate.

He had moved like water on the battlefield, shifting away from attacks and lashing out with quick strikes of his own. As the enemy began to retreat however, Thelemy changed his tactics. Like an ocean going from a calm lull to a rapid current, Thelemy was on those retreating as he shifted concentration from enhancing his evasion and reflexes, to raising his striking power and speed. A venerable dervish of movement as he sprinted forward and impaled one of the fleeing Massani.

"Let me welcome you back to the Force...I'll try to be quick as I can." The twi'lek said with a kind smile on his face as his foes life drained from his body, pulling one end of his saber out of the dying rebel as he charged forward to chase the rest. He was through the gates before he knew it, continuing to take the fight to the slaves directly, not even noticing the men had stormed the upper walls as he kept up his assault, a flooding river come to sweep away all along its banks.

The onslaught of the Sith did not stop, try as they might the massassi were falling. the brutes certainly were powerful, making the Imperials fight for every inch of ground, but as time went and more of the slaves fell, their heart filled with rage and power but moments ago began to fall to despair, the warriors kept fighting and dying but the rest flattered. They had begun this fight with true passion but their hearts had given way to fear. Most of the slave rebels began to flee as the Imperial troops gain controlled of the vantage points overlooking the camp and rained death from above.

As Cinder slew yet another enemy and readied himself for the next a shocking realization came to him. The next target was a dozen feet away, the Massassi numbers had so thinned it was not like fighting a wall of monsters anymore. A warrior there, a pair of hiding cowards over there, fleeing fools further ahead. The armoured Sith was not sure how long the fighting had been going on, the ground was littered with Massassi corpses and not an insignificant numbers of Imperial troops, still the result would not be able to be argued, the camp was falling back into Sith hands.

It would take some extra mopping up, but soon enough the outpost would be fully back under imperial control and the slaves dealt with. The battle was but won and Cinder pondered if he cared to hunt down the last remaining slaves that cared to fight or if he would leave to others. For now the Acolyte would look for a vantage point and assess the situation, if anything still warranted his attention he would address it, if not he would watch as the battle finishes and the regular troops take care of whatever comes next. Whether he would like to admit it or not the Massassi were powerful enemies and the large man had taken a couple of hit from most of the ones he fought, more than few of such hits bruising his skin and likely bones and so would not mind a rest at this point.
