The Black plague

This thread is about the faction I plan to create in the new timeline, the specifics are unknown and I am still awaiting for people to say if they are interested or not. As for now this only me attempting to humor myself in thinking of a faction that could be like the Hutt faction large and power an dangerous.
The faction will involve a zombie like plague named the black (name can be changed) were every single character within the faction most be infected, the plan is to start out with only a few people an let it grow naturally as the faction continues to spread and infect. Because of the nature of this the faction will focusing on big event like situations in the future and would attempt to stay in hiding in the beginning, my character that I have planned for it will be the Alpha (the leader) of the faction until such time that he is removed, by any means the faction can have infighting though that will only happen if the other people within the faction decide to have their characters fight each other. Only characters within the faction that has large enough influence to have a power base would any infighting start, my character will be able to use the force which will come to play into how my character will stay the leader in the beginning.
The plague will allow any force senstives the ability to use only dark side force abilities after learning them like any other force user, though said character can use the standard telekinesis but at Padawan level only if that, any more has to be learned though force artifacts or other such items that could help teach said character. Force users that are infected can use the level of force that they had before being infected but only if its neutral or dark side oriented no light side powers would be used by any of those infected. The plague would make one weak in the darkside though it can also strength ones powers in the darkside, the specifics need to be worked out but as for now the plague would be a black liquid that can latch onto a host and infect said person by going into the body by any means.
Because of the fact that many could use the infection to make character immortal there will be a limit on how many times a character can be damaged before the character is dead. An their might even be a time limit on how long a character may last as the infection will survive by eating the organic matter, though a character can sustain themselves if they have bodies to feed on that are not infected. Characters will be stronger as they get closer to dying but in the end the character will have a limit on how they use the plague though the specifics are not known yet, if anyone wants to discuss with me and work with me on the plague since it will be a species I will appreciate it.
NPC's will be something that needs to be discussed as any ship, planet or any thing else that has life on board would have to be accounted for, since half will be infected while the other have will be used as a food source to sustain the NPC's. Because of most of the infected will lose their intelligence (again this is just how I am imagining what the plague does to its victims an can be changed) which will make it so that unless another faction or uninfected individuals fix or create a ship for this faction. The faction wont be allowed to create its own ships or stations, unless RPed explaining why dozens of mindless husks were able to create a ship or station, though a few individuals of strong will power or by other traits can still retain their intelligence the majority won't have any intelligence unless someone is commanding them.

Well we are still working on it so we can change it. But yea I wanted so your character had to have something that makes them special which would explain why they get to keep your intelligence but again this is just a work in progress, so that might change. So if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it, also I would love to have it so it's works like how it did in the Naboo battle that would be great

This board isn't really meant to be used as a workshop for next timeline. A lot of members are still actively submitting content for this timeline here, and these write-ups are sort of giving a weird mixed message that I'd rather not let spread any further. Furthermore, this board's contents will be archived upon the change of timeline, which make it unsuitable for the purpose of creating a template before the timeline begins anyway.
If you really want to workshop ideas for next timeline, then probably the best way to do so is to do it on a Word document on your local computer. The site is still very much in the current timeline, and I'd like for the focus to remain as such.
