Rhaid was the first one to get into the turbolift the second the door opened and began furiously smashing the 'close' button on the control panel. Within moments everyone that was still alive was inside the lift as the doors shot close, the screams of the fallen Mandalorian could be heard over the peppy elevator music that softly played over the speakers, eventually drowning the man out as the lift ascended.

The silence was so thick you could cut it with a knife as Rhaid turned towards Bria. "If you do not give the order to destroy this ship I will personally get IG-0R to hold you down as I dissect your brain without anesthesia." He said, regaining his composure as he lit a loose cigarette he had in his pocket before exhaling a thin cloud of smoke into the air.

The music that permeated the elevator was oddly soft and whimsical; it sounded Ithorian in nature. "Sorry about the music. Though we got the ship working it didn't really belong to us... was some kind of a derelict ship belonging to a Uthan Incorporated; an Ithorian corporation. Was abandoned a few weeks back when we found it. Now we know why." Though the turbolift was moving, it wasn't moving very fast. It would take a few minutes before they reached the bridge on the top-most deck. "We should have done a more thorough investigation of the cargo, but our orders came straight from the top brass in the Republic. We were told to keep the contents contained and head straight to... coordinates somewhere in the galactic north. Rumor is we were headed for Jedi space. Top secret mission and all. So much for that."

Below, a terrifyingly loud scream was heard reverberating through the walls of the turbolift, and the power momentarily flickered causing the elevator to stop dead. "Uh... h-hold on, the generators are... rebooting? That shouldn't have happened one second..." Another scream, like a wailing banshee or something from the legends of a night-sister. It was growing closer. Then the comm began to crackle with static and then a sudden bout of laughter could be heard. It wasn't Mollie's, but it was definitely female with an aura of malice hanging about it. "Whisper, whisper, whisper... that's all they ever do..." The voice sang before another bout of crackling static cut it off and was replaced with Mollie's. "Got it!" She cried out in joy, before the power came back on and the lift began it's ascent again, just as a lengthy, slender ebony blade glowing a broad violet color cut through the middle of the floor, straight up, with a metallic screech.

Meanwhile, Siah was met in the corridor with a sudden flickering of lights as the power in that section returned. Right in front of his eyes, a woman had appeared. Had she been standing there the whole time? She was adorned with a black and orange Republic jumpsuit that suggested she worked in the cargo bay, and across her left breast was her name: Lt. Mollie Iscellia. She brushed away her short blonde tresses from her brilliant gold eyes with a soft smile. "I hear you heard the distress signal. Good. I can assure you, it's a communications error on our part, I'm the one who sent it." She said, taking a few steps towards him. If he attempted to sense her through the force, he would find something was doing its damnedest to block him from doing so. "But, now that you're here I think I could use your help in the cargo bay. We have something we're supposed to hand off to the Jedi anyway and since you have a working ship..." She looked past him towards the docking bay, before glancing back at him.

As Kerrim entered the turbolift corridor, he noticed something unusual. There were marks in the corridor from blaster fire, and not only had he seen no markings anywhere, but these seemed strangely recent. The rest of the ship was relatively abandoned, but this looked more used. No other way about, i'll have to acsess the comms and see if anyone else is here.
he muttered to himself, before acsessing the comm. "This is Kerrim Alandi, I was traveling through the area and heard the distress signal. I entered the ship, thinking that if there wasn't any survivors, I could at least salvage some valuble parts. I entered, found no signs of any conflict, and now a turbolift corridor with recent blaster marks, but nothing in the rest of the ship is touched. Can someone please explain what is happening, and if your on the bridge, can you please send down the turbolift?"

(OOC: Sorry for mising my posts recently, I keep forgeting and not receiving alerts. Also, I live in eastern time, and I'm really off of time, so a lot of the time posts end up two late, or too early for me to get a notification, and it's really annoying.)

The force was still about Siah as he walked into the corridor from the docking bay. He could see clearly, with the force's guidance. The energies of the force sent constant ripples to him, allowing him vision in the dark interior. The lights flickered, Siah paused midstride. With his focus on the force-sight, he was unable to reach out and examine his surroundings with the force. He had an eerie foreboding about his immediate future.

The flickering lights almost instantly illuminated the corridor with s solid stream of light. Before Siah had chance to react to this new development, he was subject to an unsettling experience. A figure appeared in the same corridor he was in. A female figure was standing but a few meters from him. Siah made a conscious effort to relinquish his manipulation of the force's ripples. His eyesight was quick to adjust.

Siah read the nametag as the Lieutenant spoke to him. "I hear you heard the distress signal. Good. I can assure you, it's a communications error on our part, I'm the one who sent it." She said, taking a few steps towards him. Siah looked at the young officer, his mask belied the incredulous expression on his face. Calm as he was inside, he was unnerved by someone who could so easily appear before a Jedi unnoticed. Siah nodded, that would definitely have been a credible explanation, if not for the derelict feel of the soulless ship. He had only sensed a few life energies on board and that contradicted everything this 'Mollie Iscellia' had just told him.

"But, now that you're here I think I could use your help in the cargo bay. We have something we're supposed to hand off to the Jedi anyway and since you have a working ship..." She looked past him towards the docking bay, before glancing back at him. Siah followed her eyes and nodded again.
"Thank you for clearing that up Lieutenant. Unfortunately I'm going to have to see some form of identification, the nametag on your uniform is just not sufficient considering I'm responding to a call for distress."

The knight extended his hand and the force at the same time. The force called back to him, just lightly touching the edges of the being in front of him, there was something wrong... He used the force very carefully, secretly and gently. He traced the feint outline of 'Mollie's' energy and discovered yet another void in the force.

"If we don't blow up the ship, I probably deserve it." Bria said, trying to appear as collected as Rhaid; as aloof and distant from the situation. But she had seen him break down in the corridor; he had limits like the rest of them. She just couldn't recover as well. "As soon as we get to the bridge, we get our survivor out and back to the ships. Launch all our torpedos at the core on our way out and be done with this karking ghost ship."
