Lyra sat in silence, meditating on the object in the center of her mind, she pulled it apart, looking at it piece by piece before inscribing it on her holopad. She drew out the details from the size of the entire product to the number of screws needed to hold it together and attach it to the greater part of the device. Each detail was crucial, there was clearly no rushing; hours had already been poured into the formulas and calculations that would make it possible to work. Errors could leave devastation not only for herself, but the worlds she may had been occupied once it was activated. Line and curve, perfection was not the high bar, it was the minimum.

She found a good stopping point to put away her materials, folding up her papers and stuffing them back into her notebook, snapping the band around the book to keep them in place as she put it away in her pack along with her holopad.

It was almost time to leave and she would leave with company of a new acquaintance, Elina Zelle, another fellow redhead that she had met at the Sullustian party. She had not delve on too much detail on where they were going or what they would be doing just because she did not have the details. It was just, a favor for a favor, for a favor, and hopefully everyone comes out in the end with more than they had expected. Elina was supposed to meet her at her ship, a junker of a freighter, but Lyra wasn't too concerned how it looked, she wasn't one who enjoyed flying, but rather than making it fly efficiently.

Seeing the scarlet-haired woman, Lyra gave her a nod before ascending the ramp to warm up the engines.

Elina had met the fellow redhead on Sullust and both of them had hit it off reasonably well. What made her stand out was the dancing and how good she was at it. The firrerreo loved to dance and Lyra had earned at least, for now, an acquaintance for her to see. She was told the meet the girl at her ship and Elina made her way towards that very ship, able to see the hunk of junk called a freighter. Lyra stood on the ramp and when she approached and Elina gave her a healthy wave before she went inside.

Lyra went into the freighter and she followed her inside, closing it behind them as the ramp groaned in resistance but completed the motion. When it finished, she glanced back at the ramp and then around her. It wasn't too shabby and it wasn't too perfect, just the way the firrerreo liked it. The ship reminded her of her own pad and the thought of home.

Elina walked into the cockpit to find Lyra already sitting down and beginning to start the engines. She walked over to the co-pilot seat and spun around in it for a second before placing her feet on top of the dashboard. If Lyra looked disapproving, she would slowly remove them then. "You have a nice little ship. I like it a lot." But after a few seconds, she chuckled softly and directed her gaze to the opposite redhead with one question on her mind, "Will it make it to where we are going?" She didn't know what it was capable of like Lyra did.

Elina joined her in the cockpit as she flipped several switches to warm the engines. She commented about it being a nice ship and Lyra couldn't entirely disagree and wondered if she was being somewhat sarcastic. "Hmm..it is a nice ship..." she agreed given she had just recently acquired it. However, Elina's next question would make her smirk, asking if it get them to where they were going and it was certainly a good question, even one she had considered.

"I hope, I took this ship for a test the other day. Its been sitting in the hanger for as long as I could remember. Figured no one would be missing it if I took it for a little while." Explained the acolyte as she took the ship to the air and out of the hanger. It made a lot of noises that she did not expect a ship to make, but it was holding together and that was all she wanted. The girl remained quiet until they made the jump to hyperspace; her silence could have either been from shyness or the unease the ship could go dark at any moment. Possibly a bit of both.

As they flew through hyperspace, Lyra seemed to relax, accepting the possibility they may make it to their destination after all. "Naboo,, she spoke suddenly, "He's on Naboo but wouldn't share details because he doesn't trust the holo. So he asked for someone to hunt down his acolyte and return him to him." Lyra turned to look at Elina, "He will give us a reward, bigger if the student is alive, but that's not what I want." she explained, pausing to gauge Elina's response.

The answer that the ship had been sitting quite a while in a hanger before Lyra decided to take it wasn't exactly the most comforting. Elina thought if you were going to steal a ship anyway, you might as well steal a nice one. It got into the air but the noises it made suggested that it was almost painful for the machine. Elina slowly brought her gaze over to Lyra and extended one hand down to grab onto the side railing of her seat. She would open her mouth about it when it started actually smoking.

Naboo was the planet it seemed and Elina had visited the planet briefly, really only through the spaceport. She saw the rivers and lakes that snaked through the cities and would have loved to witness their full glory. But she snapped out of her thoughts and listened to Lyra as she filled her in on the details. "He? Do we even have a name for him?" An acolyte had gone missing and needed to be returned. These always led to interesting dilemmas in her experience.

When Lyra commented that she didn't want to bring back the student alive, Elina tilted her head to the side curiously. She was clearly intrigued and had no qualms about doing anything for their own personal gain. "You saying you want the acolyte dead or you want to do something else entirely with him?" She leaned back in her chair and shrugged her shoulders slightly, "I don't really know this he, so I could really not give a damn. I'm just curious."

Lyra's face grew with puzzlement, trying to think if he did mention his name or if she even asked; though for the longest time she thought it was commonplace not to bother with names. She didn't think her Master ever asked her of her name, nor did she know his name until she had heard some others speak about him on Ajan Kloss. "I was told he was called Sergius." informed the apprentice, "But I don't think that is his real name. It took some sleuthing to find him, I mainly just followed his work."

The acolyte thought about her conversation with the senior Sith and Elina's questioning. She did not take offense to so many curiosities from her fellow redhead, in fact she welcomed it as it had the acolyte processing through this plan she had built, now realizing some flaws.

"I don't even care if we find the acolyte dead or alive, but his missing student is going to be the leverage." she stated, but paused thinking she should explain the significance and why it was going to be worth their time. "The only way I was able to find Sergius was through his work. He has mapped out anomalies in hyperspace routes and I need that information. He advises engineers for some of the major shipyards, but that's all I know of him." Lyra stood up to grab her notebook, stuffed beyond full of notes, sketches, and calculations and carefully pulled out one paper of an archway and calculations, "Those anomalies are key in activating the hypergates." she handed the paper for Elina to look at for herself.

"I tried to reverse engineer several navi-computers, but the coding is just..." she frowned thinking to use more terms others would understand, "Difficult, clearly meant for no one else to understand to keep reproduction limited."

Their contact's name was Sergius. She rolled it around in her mind and actually thought it was quite ugly. "I hope for his sake it's not his real one." God bless those parents if it was true. Lyra continued to fill her in as she didn't care for the student but cared what the student could do for them. The entire time she had been expecting this Sergius to have just been a Sith but the more that was explained, it didn't seem the case. At least a typical Sith that she was used to.

Elina didn't ask for an example but she grinned when Lyra went to her notebook and brought her a piece of paper anyway. The girl seemed much more full of life compared to those she usually worked with and it was a nice change of pace. At least to her, it seemed Lyra hadn't fully lost her heart yet like their brethern and sisters and her personality still shone through like sunlight through fog. "Anomalies, hypergates, acolyte and Sergius. Got it" Elina collected all she could as the girl rambled on.

"And how difficult is this coding? Is it easy enough that our acolyte could solve it on his own and we cut out the middle man or do we need this Sergius?" It was one thing finding a acolyte and using him as leverage, it was another to utilze that leverage correctly and convince their master to help them or... at least give up the information.

The ship came out from hyperspace as a planet came into view with lanes of traffic entering it's atmosphere. "And here we are." Elina stretched her arms out and placed them behind her head as she relaxed, waiting for Lyra to fill her in more or for the two of them to land and get started.

Lyra was excited for the woman's interest, or at least she thought she was interested while she rambled on about her work. She seemed to pick up the important points and asked questions that made the acolyte stop and think. The coding was difficult without the guidance she needed, but Elina made a good point and Lyra nodded, "I see, that is if the acolyte was given access to his knowledge...but, I like that idea." Lyra's gaze feel to her lap as she tapped her chin in thought, "That is a possibility, we should take that route if it becomes available." the acolyte nodded and looked at Elina. She then collected her papers in her notebook when she heard the warning chime they were exiting hyperspace.

The stars would still and the blue and green world of Naboo floated in the speckled matte of space. Elina announced their arrival and looked entirely relaxed, Lyra on the other hand felt her body tense from nerves. She didn't want to rely on just this one Sith for the information she needed, but he was the only one she could find who was at least still living and his work still existed.

"Regardless what happens, lets just be on guard in case this ends up being a trap." Lyra suggested, her blue eyes flickered to Elina, "I know many older Sith are deeply paranoid, I almost anticipate Serguis will be also."

The acolyte landed the ship at Naboo's capital city; she didn't like that this guy lived on the outside of the city, but she guessed that was where the rich went to get away from the rest of the people they did not want to associate with. "Have you ever been here?" she asked as she paid the credits for a rented speeder, "This is my first time on Naboo, the holo-documentaries and photos do not due it justice." The acolyte was truly taken by the beauty of the city.

Lyra hadn't seemed to not have thought about hunting the acolyte and just using him to unlock the codes. Well, if he did know how to crack the code, at least it was an opportunity that the two wouldn't miss. Just the name Sergius didn't sound right to Elina any she wouldn't mind the chance of missing his presence. The two finally exited from hyperspace and the signal that their mission was about to start.

Elina didn't need to peek in order to sense the nervousness that came from Lyra. She didn't really understand why, the mission hadn't even started yet and she wondered what the girl could be thinking of that would already make her stressed. The firrerreo remained in her seat the entire time and with relaxation oozing off her as they made their way to the specified landing port. "I'm always on guard dear." It was the only reason she survived being who she was.

When they finally landed on Naboo and exited from the ship, Elina's eyes immediately went to the water as it reflected off her golden eyes. The city was absolutely beautiful and the thought of it becoming old couldn't even cross her mind. "No, this is my first time. I don't really know why though. I'd love to visit again at a different time." She had always been attracted to beauty and it shocked her that she hadn't visited before this time. Either way, they had to go and meet this Sergius before they did anything and she began walking alongside Lyra as they went through the busy streets of the city.

They eventually reached some speeders and Lyra helped pay for them so each could have one. Elina gave her a little nod and smile before walking to her's and swinging a leg over as she got on it. "So, lead the way to this Sergius."

Lyra was quickly understanding why so many sought out Naboo for their retreats and family getaways. As she lead Elina out of the city and into the country side, the rolling hills went on for miles. Small fruit trees and the color of wild flowers dotted the area and if Lyra was not more mindful, she found it quite distracting. Smaller cottages congested toward the city, but the further they went, the larger the homes became, it was clear there were credits out here whether it be from old money from some of the more well known Houses of Naboo or those who looked for a quiet life outside the business of the core.

Sergius was one of the larger estates that blended well with the rest of the countryside; the home looked as though it had been there for centuries and it was surrounded by a well-manicured garden and the hills behind it were covered in rows of grape trees.

The acolyte slowed her speeder as they approached, her senses working to refocus on the mission instead of the distracting landscape. Though something would feel off, nothing that the Force would tell her, but from her own instinct, there was a stillness about the estate that made her cautious. She glanced at Elina if she felt the same, and as she reached out, drawing on the Force, there was certainly an absence.

Lyra climbed up the stairs and buzzed the doorbell, the echo if its chime could be heard through the mansion but no one answered. She didn't feel surprised and turned the handle on the door, letting them inside to an overwhelming stench of decay.

"I really hope that is not Sergius I smell." Lyra sighed and covered her nose with the collar of her tunic.

They shot off into the countryside and it wouldn't take long for them to reach the designated manor they were supposed to meet this Sergius at. The beauty was impeccable but Elina had already gotten her fill when they first arrived at the city. It was her experience as a merc that was telling her to focus on the task at hand. Even though the estate was pristine and beautiful, it wasn't what caught her attention, it was the absence that even Lyra felt as well.

Elina followed the acolyte up the stairs and to the door as they rang the doorbell. Nobody answered the door and instead, Lyra opened it as she was hit with a rancid smell. It made her cover her nose with her tunic but it almost made the firrerreno throw up right on the spot. She immediately turned away and went down a few steps, "Motherkarking shit!" The first cuss words that came to her mind just slipped out. Her nose was highly sensitive and much stronger than the other's, letting her get every taste of the smell.

She turned back around to face Lyra as she shook her head, "I'm going around back. No one could be home with that smell." Elina didn't even wait for Lyra to object or to disagree, she just left and went around the side in order to get away from the stench. If there was a backdoor, hopefully, it would fare better than the front.

Elina was repulsed by the smell and decided to find another way inside, leaving her to the front of the mansion. Lyra assumed it was more to get away from the stench, she didn't blame her, if this wasn't a mission she was invested in the prize, she probably would have left immediately. The acolyte stepped inside, still holding her collar to her nose, it didn't seem to help the smell but it helped her from dry heaving across the home.

The floors creaked as she stepped further inside, at first she did not notice the mess in the adjacent rooms; carpet was scorched, curtains and plush furniture torn, broken glass and porcelain covered the floors. Her eyes though took her gaze up the stairs, there was certainly a struggle and a skirmish; charred cuts and streaks lined the wall and wood railing. Slowly Lyra climbed the stairs, trying to feel for anyone who could still be lurking, but knowing the smell, she doubted it would be the case, whoever was here left a while ago, sometime between receiving Sergius' transmission and perhaps a couple days ago. Her mind immediately suspected Sergius' acolyte, but she needed to find a body to confirm.

On the second floor, Lyra followed the trail of the skirmish, she stopped by a window to peak out, seeing if Elina was still out there or if she had made it inside. The acolyte paused when she reached a room with double doors, one slightly ajar and Lyra pushed it open with her foot. The smell was certainly stronger on the second floor, but no body in what looked to be a study. It had been ransacked, papers and diagrams were thrown about, the ceiling fan spun slowly, give a slight draft that ruffled any loose papers.

It didn't look good, she wondered who ever did this was after the same thing she was looking for. She quickly stepped out of the room and saw another set of double doors open and Lyra did not need to walk inside to see whose body was laying on the ground. Sergius was indeed dead.

Elina went around the flank of the building, the stench still lingering in her noise as it clouded her sense. She could not stand the smell and she was almost ready to just wait outside for the whole thing. But as she walked, she saw a set of small cellar doors, scorch marks along the outside of it and it made her stop. Elina glanced around to see if there were any other telltale signs of struggle.

But there wasn't and she simply kicked the cellar doors as they flew open and smacked the wall. "Don't mind if I do." Elina walked down the steps and to the bottom floor. The cellar was completely empty, tables lined all across the entirety of the wall, some smashed, burnt, or just left completely alone. There were machinery and other appliances but they had either been broken or were just useless items. It appeared like a workshop but it had been emptied.

Elina simply reached through the force to speak to Lyra as she could sense her and was still upstairs, I found your boy's workshop. Either your acolyte stole all your friends work or someone else did. You find the reason for that smell? There were only a few reasons a smell that bad could be made and it was the stench of a dead body. Elina been around death enough to recognize it anywhere she went.

She felt her mind being touched by the Force as she had returned to the study to find anything that would be of use. Something wasn't sitting well with the acolyte as she thought about the body in the neighboring room; something seemed amiss about this situation and she knew she needed to move to the workshop where Elina had hailed from. However, she would not be empty handed as she carried herself down the steps, trying to figure out where this workshop was exactly. She was able to feel Elina's presence, but this place was like a maze of rooms and halls.

However, as she did so, her fingers ran across the scorched marks on the wall; the pattern was erratic and she was unable to see duelists make these marks in any saber forms. Hm...we may have a situation...be caution... she projected back and found herself in the kitchen. Elina would start to sense something was awry also, someone was still present at the estate other than the two Sith women.

Lyra's blue eyes scanned the large cooking area, enough space to put together a feast for hundreds of guests, but there was a sensation that told her one or two people have recently eaten in here as she brushed some crumbs off the counter. Her eyes followed where they had fallen and once more like the rest of the home, this place was torn apart also, pans and pots everywhere, but the two that sat neatly on the stove. Continuing though, she finally found some stairs that took her to the cellar.

Elina was right, the place had been torn apart down here also. She thumbed the pages of the journal she found in the study as she looked at the damage done down here also. Things were just broken and she slipped the journal into her pack while she looked, "I have to apologize, I think I led us into a trap." Lyra spoke softly as she picked up several pieces of torn blueprints and laid them on the counter. Quickly putting them back together as best she could, they looked as though they made a specific type of holocron.

"There isn't anything missing." she whispered, "This was an act of rage and I don't think I spoke to Sergius." Lrya starred at the blueprints and then folded them up to stuff them also into her pack.

Both Elina and Lyra would feel a new presence grow within the home.

We may have a situation, those were the type of words Elina never wanted to hear. She was about to head back up to regroup with Lyra and really see what made her advise caution but then she felt the woman make her own way down and she remained where she was. The firrerreo walked over to the walls, inspecting the pieces of blueprint and other machinery and how they were removed. Some appeared to be torn off like in a hurry and half the machines had scorch marks, suggesting a lightsaber.

When Lyra finally joined her down in the workshop and apologized for leading them into a trap, she couldn't help but laugh softly, "That was the most formal sorry for a trap I've ever heard." At least she apologized, for whatever that was worth in a situation like this. When the woman found pieces of blueprint and put them together to reveal a holocron, Elina's eyes widened as she stepped close to Lyra to examine it. "Now that's interesting." Was this the device that would lead them to the hypergates or something else entirely?

That presence grew stronger and stronger to the point where Elina could even take note of it. She was able to pick up the sound of the cellar doors opening and she spun 180 with one of her sabers in hand but deactivated. The man calmly walked down the steps with his hands behind his back as he took his time. He was young and had straight black hair that stretched down his back, a sort of tightly fitting robe adorned on him as he stopped with some distance between him and the two girls. When he did stop, his green eyes flicked to Elina but then focused on Lyra, "You finally made it."

Elina's interest piqued as she looked over Lyra's shoulder to the blueprints before she had put them away. Indeed it was interesting and the acolyte nodded in agreement, glancing at Elina with a small grin. "If-" the girl paused as the presence grew stronger and she was certain it was not Sergius coming back from the dead. She unclipped her own lightsaber and held it tightly in her palm as she heard the doors of the cellar open and the foot steps draw closer until a young man appeared in the cellar with them.

Lyra thought he looked greasy enough and stood with confidence as he observed the two women in the room. His attention though was focused on Lyra as he welcomed her after they clearly have been present for some time. If given an opportunity, Lyra was learning the Sith were into dramatics; something she could appreciate as a performance was meant to continually build on your legacy.

"I made it." Lyra stated flatly, her shoulders giving an exaggerated shrug, "It looks like Sergius did not make it long enough for my arrival." the redheaded acolyte probed.

The young man chuckled at her response, his eyes flickered to the piles of papers and notes on the table beside her, then to her bag, and then back at Lyra. "No, it would seem, he would not even know you ever had the intention to arrive." he responded with a hint of sorrow, "There aren't many who seek out my former Master unless there was something else they were in search of; he was terribly upset when I had stolen his wayfinder, put out a call to find me, and bring me back for my selfish deed." The young man begun to walk further into the basement toward the women.

"Do you have it?" Lyra asked, and the acolyte shook his head in agreement.

"I do, princess," Lyra's brow furrowed in irritation and he picked up on it and glanced to Elina, "I see you two must be disappointed in this situation, hoping to get a good deed from the old man, and in turn get the device." He relaxed his arms from behind his back and held up the device and then set it down on the table. In his other hand, he held his saber hilt. "I mean you can have it, but only in my defeat, as per traditions, right? Have to show your strength, and I can see I am outnumbered." He looked between the two women and then with a flash of red, he cut through the device and laughed.

Lyra's eyes widened in shock and then with anger as she realized he was toying with them; the Force bowed to her will as she sent a whirlwind of paper, glass, and equipment from the top of the workbench at the acolyte, impeding his physical senses as she came behind the storm with her saber ignited.

Elina had spun on her heel as well to face the newcomer, her lightsaber soaring into her hand on command but remaining deactivated for the time being. She was curious to see where the conversation went before she acted out. The more the acolyte spoke, the more she thought the man was stuck up and mired in his own admiration of himself. Her eyes flicked to his and then his hands, waiting for any type of sudden movement.

Lyra showed her eagerness for what they were searching for and the acolyte caught the scent of it. He played with them so more as he beat around the bush before he eventually revealed the device to him. As he was about halfway through his sentence, Elina shot her hand forward as the force lashed out like a whip. It tightened around the device, whether real or fake, and ripped it out of the man's hand. It flew across the room like a missile and straight into her own hand. It could be some clue to whatever they were searching for.

Lyra charged forward and Elina quickly followed behind her, the acolyte using the force as well to prevent any damage of the debris hitting him as he managed to ignite his saber in time. He would thrust forward with his blade before pulling it back and slashing again at the girl. Elina would be coming around his flank and swung her saber at the acolyte's ribs while he focused on the other.

Lyra's blade would clash and the papers and debris that had picked up with the acolyte's attack would flutter and fall around them. He parried her strike as she swung again, having it let it slide into empty space to her side, her movements were fluid, but held the violence of a storm that turned waves of the ocean, it would test Sergius' acolyte as he looked to protect himself from her strikes. He tried to eye where the other woman had gone too, and it was nearly too late when he realized she come right behind Lyra, her blade would nick his side as there was barely enough room for him to back up to safety.

Pain seared through him as he would use it to throw the women across the room as Lyra's blade came down over head. She felt the punch of the Force in her gut as she was thrown over tables and into large metal boiler. There was no softening the blow as she heard the metal bellow and thumped under the mass that was thrown at it. The acolyte focused on Lyra with the two of them separated across the room, his red blade poised for an attack, but Lyra waved her hand, snapping the dark haired man in Elina's direction. The redheaded acolyte jumped to her feet, rotating her wrist to give a good pop before slashing at the acolyte as he climbed to his hands and knees. Her blade cut through his back, but it wouldn't kill him, not just yet.

He yelled in anger as he rolled onto his back, attempting to reach for his saber that had dropped several feet away. Lyra waved her fingers, sending the weapon to Elina. She could feel him starting to grasp at her neck in the Force and the acolyte didn't wait for any pity pleas for mercy as she stabbed her blade into his heart.

Elina's strike struck home as it whipped across the Acolyte's ribs and left a burning gash there. He didn't let her relish it long as he sent her flying with the force and made her collide with a pillar. The Firrerreo quickly got up and got her bearings once more as the fight continued on with the man and Lyra. He sent her into the boiler and separated the two in the room but that wouldn't hold them back.

The Acolyte got himself situated but Lyra was on the move and sent him towards Elina's direction with the force. It gave them an opening as the man was slashed across his back. It made him lose his grip on his weapon and before he could reach for it, the hilt was kicked over to her. She used the force to send it straight into her hand and without hesitation, she activated and flung it straight through the back of Sergius' acolyte as it would erupt out of his stomach at the same time he was pierced through the heart. He stared up at Lyra, his green eyes gazing upon hers for a few moments before he just crumpled to the side.

Elina dusted herself off and ran a hand through her hair as she made her way over to Lyra, "That was certainly an enticing welcome by him." Thankfully, the both of them hadn't been hurt too badly but the fact they had to go through the process of killing him was annoying. "Unfortunately we won't be able to ask him any questions about the work he stole or destroyed." But then she remembered what she had pulled out of her hand and pointed toward it behind the other Sith, "I did manage to save that though."

She walked over to the table and picked up the device that the Acolyte had intended to cut in half. She picked it up and twisted it in various angles, inspecting it in any which way she could before simply tossing it over to Lyra with a casual shrug, "Anything usual that can we take from it, or was it wasted effort?"

She saw Elina's blade just below her own and she extinguished her blade, watching the acolyte's body land on the ground with thud. The acolyte inhaled deeply, taking a few steps back, her mind suddenly reeling as to what she just did. She thought she would have been more anxious after taking the life of another, especially another Sith who had challenged her, but she felt unnaturally calm and satisfied. Elina's voice sounded distant and Lyra shook her head, willing herself to the present; her blue eyes rested on her for a moment, trying to process the words she had just spoken.

"I was warned that some Sith have a very melodramatic way of making introductions." she sighed and looked back at the body. It was disappointing they could not get anymore additional information from the guy, but perhaps this was better. He could have led them astray if he were after the same thing Lyra was searching for. Though the acolyte was struck with confusion when Elina mentioned she saved something. She turned to look to see the distinct device on the table, "What! OH!" she gasped and caught it from the Scarlet. She asked if there was anything of use on it.

Lyra never thought she would hold one of these devices, but it was hard to tell what it held, if it held anything. She looked around for any equipment that could hint to what was contained inside. Holding it up to the light as she passed a window, there was something that floated inside, and she paused, turning it slowly to watch the mechanics of the device float gently inside. "I hope its not busted..." she sighed and walked around a work bench to what appeared to be a navigational computer and Lyra went to work, pulling out cords to see where they could fit in the device. Seeming at a lost for a second, she beckoned the Force for its aid, guiding her finger tips to where she needed to plug the cords.

"Ok, lets see..." Resting the device on the counter, she found her bag and pulled out some of the blueprints she had folded and laid them out, checking to see if there was anything extra she needed to know. Unfortunately, the more she started to look at the plans, the more complicated it seemed. She decided to flip on the computer and see what would happen.

It was at first it looked as though she were getting somewhere, coordinates begun flipping through the computer like a compass as it searched for what was hidden on the device. Watching and realizing what it was doing, Lyra quickly scrambled for her datapad. With haste, she plugged it into the terminal of the navicomputer to collect the data, but something was wrong with the wayfinder as the inside glowed red, then yellow, and soon hot white. A feeling told Lyra it was not working and to stop it immediately, but the acolyte was not fast enough as she reached for the cords, there was a chain of events.

A pulse of electricity bit at Lyra, forcing her to jump backwards, the wayfinder's glass plates webbed with cracks and fell dull, the navi-computer suddenly stopped short and the datapad, well, Lyra wished she remembered to back it up prior to her trip here.
